Sorry buddy I thought I'd replied to this already. I had a listen to D1 this evening. Hadn't heard it before. I'm working on a few tunes and videos at the moment but I reckon I can do this one for you. Sounds like DADGAD tuning to me.

However, it's just the right place to go since I've messed with this version of Animal Flow on my acoustic last week, but haven't picked up the guitar for ages, so I'm a bit rusty..... Thanks for setting me straight on a couple of things I was missing--maybe I'll get my chops back after all these years! On that chord you were struggling to pick out, though, I was playing it with high and low E strings fretted on the 7th; the A string fretted on the 6th; other three strings opened or lightly touched with an unfretted finger, using the same right-hand flick or downstroke as used in the 7th fret harmonics as the previous section. ...close as I've gotten. Thanks again for the tutorial, much appreciated!

after +20yrs I picked up (no pun intended) my old acoustic guitar again b/c of our Welsh buddy. I'm glad I found your channel although I'm not sure if (or when) I'll ever be able to play any of his tunes on my shredded box with my (now) clumsy fingerz
There's probably no greater accomplishment for a musician than to inspire others to play. Something the Welsh Wizard seems to be doing quite a lot of. I'm sure your old shredded box still sounds awesome and those clumsy fingers will probably loosen up faster than you think. Thanks for dropping by, I hope my vids help you out.
@@fret-less thank you! I'm sure they do. Not so sure about the awesome sound tho 😇 I put on new strings and installed a pickup so that I can record it more easily to see where it is clanging. and clanging it does 😂
@@CirTap Oh, sounds serious. If it's been in storage or unused for a long while especially if it was left strung up, there's a fair chance the neck will have bowed. That's the first thing I'd check. There's loads of vids on YT on how to adjust a truss rod. Its not a hard job, just take it slow and use tiny adjustments. Good Luck 🙂

Yeah sorry about that. I've addressed it on my newer videos with close up inserts on both hands. Unfortunately most of the Ren songs were done before I figured out how to do that. All part of the learning curve. Hope there's enough info there for you to figure it out.

Picking something that challenges you is exactly how you'll build those skills. Hope you keep at it and hey you never know a tab may appear before you've finished learning it :D
