s hudson you are wrong, very different architecture. Have you seen graphics on many games in cellphones. Also they run limited on cooling space and they perform so great. Performance from x64 bit architecture to ARM very different, you can't compare them. X64 is more complex and requires more cpu power than arm apps
Yeah, can't compare apples to oranges. What I think s hudson is trying to convey is that if you were to compare them, if the snapdragon chip was forced to do x86 type work, then it wouldn't really surpass the performance of a celeron n3700. Not sure why anyone would want to do that though. What is impressive, is the raw clock speed of these phones, electrical performance is off the chart in comparison to ye olde days.
Battery capacity degrades over time, you'll typically see if halve between 6-12 months if you're a heavy user, or around 24 months if you're a more typical user. Easy battery replacement is vital for longevity, and a necessity for people like myself who prefer not to buy the newest model every year.
That phone actually looks extremely well made. I couldn't really care for a GAMING phone, but that phone is really interesting mainly due to the large battery, cooling system, powerful yet efficient processor, high amount of ram, and huge storage. Not to mention the crazy accessories. I think a $1200 proce point is justified in comparison to iPhone prices tbh, but I wouldn't pay that much personally. Imo a phone should never cost more than 600, that's the sweet spot where I feel the company isn't typically ripping you off nor are they losing too much, its the most fair price range in many cases.
SeedlessBananas true, I rather pay for this if it's quality then an iPhone which seems to get worse in quality every generation. Hell they even cut cost eliminating the the hi quality audio chip they had in the original iPod. Apple's new motto Premium price lackluster hardware.
Technically phone companies are already cutting it pretty close with their pricing if you look at the cost for them to produce compared to similar items. Apart from the joke that is Apple, profit margins on phones are relatively slim. Phones have to have comparable specs to cheap laptops, while at the same time fitting all of that into a handheld device. My theory has always been that humans can't instinctively justify the price of a smartphone with the size of the actual device. That's why Apple was so popular for so long, instead of trying to justify the cost using the value of the components, they appealed to the human instinct that we can use our phones as luxury items to display our social status. I really want a company to release a phone that isn't so thin, isn't so fragile, and isn't so pointlessly "aesthetic". Give it a nice, durable screen, a big battery, a big SSD, and whatever the standard phone APU is with extra RAM and you'd have my money. Also, thank fucking christ Asus included a headphone jack, seriously, fuck Apple, and fuck Google for following them. I'm not gonna buy a piece of shit bluetooth headset just because you won't put a basic 3.5mm audio jack on your phone.
lovely Well, the core clock doesn't mean anything at the mobile sector. A 2.9GHz processor (which is awesome!) would probably get beaten by a 1.0 GHz processor of a laptop.
You cant compare mobile specs and console/pc specs directly. x86 architecture uses way more power, and is way more powerful. So while it has more ram and storage, it's very possible that it's not any stronger. Many mobile games look great nowadays, but they also have the benefits of being on a tiny little screen. If you mirror them to a larger display, the downsides of mobile technology becomes apparent. That said, the phone cannot run crysis, because it was never ported to android. If someone did port it, I am sure it can run an 11 year old game.
Ignacio Romero 1080p isn't bad on a screen that small. Honestly, on my pc I can't tell the difference between 1080p and 1440p/4K. So I don't think I will be able to on screens that small. Also, 1080p means the gpu will push pixels around a lot easier.
This phone is all well and good but I just don't see the point. If we are saying its gonna cost over £1000 with all its accessories then why not just buy an Xbox one, razer phone and Nintendo switch for less than that
This phone exists to show whats possible. It doesnt make sense for most consumers. But you need to make products like this otherwise everything will stagnate.
They went to launch events because they were invited and was sponsored to go there. Maybe the other Tech Tubers that you are implying were not invited hence no contents of going to these type of events.
Adolf Hitler I would say that to the casual on looker, this meme has been beten to the ground. However despacito memes still live on in our hearts and in our minds.
infinitelyExplosive well if you would have watched the most recent tech linked episode you would have recognized the phone. Also watch linus video on why he switchedto using thumbnails instead of fully descriptive pics and titles.
Probably it can even run Crysis when it would be available for Android. 2018 Smartphones are more powerful than the most 2008 desktop PCs. More powerful than PS3 and Xbox 360. But they didn't reached PS4 and Xbox One until now.
You can use emu to play PSP game on the phone and this phone looks perfect for it, also some mobile game is not complete p2w crap, you just have to look for it carefully, tho most of the time I only play rhythm b2p game so any normal smartphones could do it just fine
What games are you going to play? I can never find that many games that would require these specs, thats actually fun. Almost all of them have a shit ton of micro transactions or the graphics still suck. Unless someone has some games that I don't know of that are good.
Something I've been wondering about considering how much effort ASUS and Razer seem to be putting into their handsets: How many mobile games are there exactly for this market and what are they? Don't be mistaken, I myself have played a LOT of mobile games, but not many scream "hardcore" the same way PC or console titles do. There's of course the big names like PUBG, Asphalt 8, and all those MOBA games, and maybe ports of bigger titles like GTA, as well as a plethora of other shooters and racers, but aside from them the majority of mobile games I'm familiar with are more casually oriented (you know, all the free-to-play puzzle, strategy, etc. scenes if you've ever dared to dive into Apple or Android's App Stores) How many fish are there in this pond exactly? And what are they? I'm genuinely curious.
There actually is a way to install a Debian (Linux) environment onto Android without actually affecting the Android OS, so that opens you up to some PC titles as well as Steam.
I'm really excited to see Asus catching up in the mobile market. I'm actually considering this phone over the OnePlus 6 now. That said, I have owned a Zenfone 2 which I have seen 2 seperate cases of faulty screens after some minor drops. I really hope they have upped their quality control standards to near that of OnePlus.
Leviathan431 I had a Zenfone 2 max Dropped really hard many times didn't break. but 1 spilled cup of water ruined the phone. Although my father got one too and he's having to reboot it every once in a while because apps stop running.
This. This is a real phone, I love it when pc companies make a phone, they know what they need to add, improve and change, as they would with testing pc components
I'm a razer phone owner, but damn! If this gets good reviews in future, I might consider selling my phone for this one (Depending by how much more expensive the ASUS ROG is). 90hz is still plenty smooth enough. I can tell only just a small difference between 90hz and 120hz on my Razer phone, but a huge difference between 60 and 90. 90hz with amoled with definitely be a sweet combo. This ASUS ROG is much better than the Xiaomi Black Shark from what I have seen, that's for sure. Looking forward to what this device brings to the table. The only thing that would hold me back on getting it is that I'm also thinking about waiting for the Razer Phone 2.
tidus1ph Never had any WiFi problems with mine. Sorry to hear about your phone dropping WiFi though. Hope you find a way to fix that problem. Anything else (Such as computers, laptops, etc) that drop from your WiFi? Anyway, best of luck trying to fix that problem. I know that would be annoying.
...And this product is for: NOBODY! Normies do not care about 'serious' gaming to consider this thing and serious gamers do not care about mobile gaming enough to spend what I assume is a super premium price. For both of those demographics any crappy smartphone will do to play -I don't know- Candy Crush or whatever, or run emulators. Who is this for? In what market is competing? Is it competing against the Nintendo Switch? Who asked for this? Is this just a novelty item? Proof of concept? The technology implementation is awesome, though. You have to admit that. If I had money to burn, I would buy this -novelty- item.
i don't play mobile games but i have lots of people who come into my streams and talk about mobile gaming - as well one of my regulars is a streamer who exclusively plays mobile games
Finally, a modern phone manufacturer whos willing to say screw making the thing thinner and actually put a high capacity battery in there. I might actually buy one.
This seems a bit to finicky for me. You have like 6 accessories just to play games differently, the design with all of the open ports seem very fragile, and who is going to mobile game this hardcore? If the phone is x
CapsuleGraph it has the specs of an samsung s9+ , the cheapest possible price would be arround 600(like one plus) so, with all the accesorries I tihnk its pretty understandable for it to be arround 1k. Like you re not forced to carry arround them.
CapsuleGraph I'm not into the mobile gaming scene but if you dug around in TH-cam you'll see people posting content like it's mainstream AAA and making montages etc. Yes for a $1,000 you can get entry level VR going but people judge the value of their own money differently.
what do you mean, your here but not here at all lol, also seeing you used emotes id assume ur on a phone. theres supercell being coc and of course cr, hearthstone, duel links, new battle royale titles coming to mobile, and processing media being videos and photos etc. of course...cause its a modern phone.... and tons more.
There's plenty of space for mobile games to grow, or better put, there's the money to put good games on mobile and many gamers have noticed it. Think it as a similar phenomenon as of owning a Nintendo GameBoy back in the day. If only the software could catch up...
Braq Bra I assume people playing games on their PCs are also stupid 15 year old boys with boring lives? Anyway, I'm just saying THERE IS room and money on the mobile market to produce good games comparable to those of the GameBoy, DS, PSP, etc. I never said IT WILL happen.
True PC and with Cloud gaming services like Liquidsky and Shadow gaming . You can now play PC games on any Smart phone Android or Mac. So it's kind of pointless but I guess someone will buy it. Ever since I tested out some of the new Cloud gaming services I would not waste money on gaming phone because there is no need anymore.
That's what i'm thinking. Why not just buy an actual console with proper controls and a wide library of good games over a "gamer" phone with basically a fast CPU, decent screen and nothing else.
I'm expecting now someday you make a video, explaining how combining random numbers of this ROG phone can immediately turn THESE into a handy random ratio external screen, also an BRIDGED(like SLI) external graphic "CARDS". That would be an interesting tech future XD.
just a tip bro if you are on a low budget you can actually combine cheap motherboards for close to double the power. just go to a pawn shop and grab some really cheap shit you can even combine more if you want. theres a dude on youtube who combined like 20 of those raspberry pi things its pretty amazing the power he got from it.
Don't know if it will all that difficult though I am curious to see what improvement they could make over a span of a year form release date i personally would like a less boxy design though not a key problem with the phone and an improvement on the cooling system
I think the title of the video is perfect. The Razor phone does get destroyed by this. And honestly alot of them out there, theres alot of cool new things going on with this phone. Not just one gimmicky thing or a dumb assistant button. Linus didnt mention the overclock mode activate with a squeeze or the crazy Monitor and peripherals dock
I really like this phone, not to really game on, but Asus actually is addressing the bad thermal throttling issues modern phones have when they get warm in the car, or even your pocket! I hope with the fan accessory installed, that the phone can still be used in portrait mode. Hope this phone makes it, and gets refreshed with the Snapdragon 855 later, in which Qualcomm is claiming a decent boost in performance and power efficiency (less heat 4 same work done)
I have a video request that will probably not happen but... What if you were to water cool a PC but with liquid nitrogen? I have never seen anyone try it before but if it's not possible you should try and make it work.
are you talking about submerging a whole PC in LN> or just using a pot on top of the cpu? because if so Linus did a sub zero phase change build on his channel a while back and thats pretty close. th-cam.com/video/4d0B0Dli-1g/w-d-xo.html
Liquid nitrogen cooling is a thing but only really with the guys who overclock for sport. It's a really bad idea to do that on a real meant-for-work system because it'll degrade your stuff insanely fast if you don't have your cooling rig running at all times (even when the machine is off)
Linus be like : The lighting in this room is so terrible that it’s impossible to take a good picture. Staff heard him... Staff be like : Sir, you need to get out of this building as soon as possible.
I mean that seems cool for mobile gamers... But, i almost never game on mobile devices because the games are copycat games of other poorly made games and its a waste... For me, when it comes to gaming, id always choose a dedicated PC or console for gaming... Multimedia is the only exception for mobile phones... And most standard phones (i.e. Samsung, LG, Apple... the rest of those companies...) are more than enough for photos, videos, and music... So... why game on a "GAMING" phone when you can save your money for a more useful device like a console or PC that get far better titles...
the thing this would be useful for is emulation. pack it with psp games or what ever your choice of emulation is and it seems like it would be nice to have
It'd be cool if this gaming on phone push would stop and these guys would make practical phones that people would love. Like the practicality of a galaxy s5 with the hardware of a s9 along and the software on par with apple
My Razer phone recently updated and it's no longer a smooth experience, now this video came out. I'm going to curl up in a ball and drown my tears in sleep.
but can it.....
call people???
yeah
Anthony Rubbertoe i thought that you were gonna say like PewDiePie

Owning_Gaming dude he was joking chill out
As long as the mobile gaming ecosystem is a cluster**** there's no point in Android/iOS gaming devices.
Linklight it’s probably even faster 😂
If only the switch could make calls and surf the web...
That phone has a better cpu and more hard drive spaces than this laptop
yolosnuff
hard drive? *face palm*.

Lol computer they gave me at the office is a core 2 Duo e8400 with g45/43 gpu with 8gb ddr2 Ram so, I think think phone has that beat

You can buy a s9+ and a nintendo switch with games for that price..

Agreed. Still using a V20 with 2 extra batteries.
When will you drop it?
When you order it and ask for Linus signature on it.
When it gets hot.
I don't know but I bet you'll hear it when it hits the floor.. that thing looks like it has some heft..
Love the way you speed through everything instead of waffling on for 10 minutes for the ad revenue.

03:20 Zenfone 4 or Zenfone 5, Linus?
Jaison Yohannan you're wrong. He's referring to the camera sensor which that thing got the same one with zenfone 5
Jaison Yohannan zenfone 4 and 5 has the same camera sensor?
Edit : the zenfone 4 uses sony imx 362, zenfone 5 uses sony imx 376
Jaison Yohannan okay I'm wrong with that. But zenfone 4 has imx 362

Bart Plays Games you don't need 1k to upgrade your PC. I build a PC for my mate with 200$ that runs even PUBG at low settings on 1080p at 40-50 fps.
You are so down to earth man☺👍 Most of the Big Tech TH-camrs stopped going to launch events... They became legends in their own heads I guess 😎
Its because most tech shows are complete dogshit.

The thumbnail was literally a picture of the phone
It shouldn't be so conditional to understand what a video is going to be about. What else is a title even for? Don't defend clickbait.
Sounds like mission accomplished.
In 4 minutes you delivered a better overview video than everyone else...
Okay okay, this phone is cool and stuff, but... Can it play Crysis?
YES : Steam stream app

LuiDeSantoro At least more than 30 fps but yes I'm dead serious
Of course, even without the adreno it would easily run it 1080 60fps

I don't doubt that there are decent mobile games out there, but they are impossible to find.
You can buy the handjoy npro that is perfect for these emulators.
にゃあエイリアンMeowAlien There are also Nintendo DS emulators available, perfect for that as well with the screen
にゃあエイリアンMeowAlien haha I thought I was the only one thinking that. ppsspp and crisis core iso all the way.
Seems pretty cool, does it have expandable storage? Can the battery be replaced?
That phone is litteraly a small verision of my computer I:

What? PUBG really? LOL
That phone isn't worth one game, especially a poor port of a game.

A dragon tattoo... Wow that is classy.
do you think linus has a large penis?
My questions are is it permanent and is it the MSI dragon? I mentioned it in an older video, so must be atleast a week'ish old.
But why change the title? First title was something like " ROG phone destroyed Razer"
Mark Bulalacao true, they changed it, conflict of interest

LucianS that can only be done for PC right? Idk 😂 explain pls
At first glance it looks awesome. I get to upgrade soon and wonder what carrier platforms will have this phone if any.
Ben Leesley I’ve seen 1500 tossed around. But then accessories would be expensive too I’m sure
Ben Leesley Is your razer dropping wifi? Mine keeps dropping and reconnecting.
I have razer phone mine does this too does any 1 know how to fix?
tidus1ph Never had any WiFi problems with mine. Sorry to hear about your phone dropping WiFi though. Hope you find a way to fix that problem. Anything else (Such as computers, laptops, etc) that drop from your WiFi? Anyway, best of luck trying to fix that problem. I know that would be annoying.
What's the price of Xiaomi Black Shark? (I'm genuinely asking) If it's under $500, I think it's pretty impressive.
You were ripping on Razer in the previous thumbnail...
The next Linus tech tips episode:Acer predator smartphone with 10 GB RAM
Car Boi they did a concept of a phone called Predator 6 with *4* speaker and it's so dope. But sadly it have never made it way to the market
Le Thuyen Alexa play despacito :(
Did he change the videos name? I
...And this product is for: NOBODY!
When did you visit to mobile gaming last time 😁
Mobile gaming > console gaming.
i don't play mobile games but i have lots of people who come into my streams and talk about mobile gaming - as well one of my regulars is a streamer who exclusively plays mobile games
ComradeNoob now that was pretty stupid of you to say.
Finally, a modern phone manufacturer whos willing to say screw making the thing thinner and actually put a high capacity battery in there. I might actually buy one.
*_what phone is that? is that a CORSAIR phone?_*
But can it run Crysis?
Just stop
Probably can
This phone is crazy, i love what they did there! Thats basically how mobile gaming is supposed to be and i hope that more companies join that train!
This seems a bit to finicky for me. You have like 6 accessories just to play games differently, the design with all of the open ports seem very fragile, and who is going to mobile game this hardcore? If the phone is x
It seems more like a proof of concept thing. I really doubt they are expecting to sell a lot of these.
If Apple can sell a phone with lesser features for 1000$, I think this phone is worth it.
CapsuleGraph it has the specs of an samsung s9+ , the cheapest possible price would be arround 600(like one plus) so, with all the accesorries I tihnk its pretty understandable for it to be arround 1k. Like you re not forced to carry arround them.
Who cares about the accessories? It has *two* USB-C ports and a headphone jack and a nice screen. My questions are: Unlockble bootloader? USB OTG?
CapsuleGraph I'm not into the mobile gaming scene but if you dug around in TH-cam you'll see people posting content like it's mainstream AAA and making montages etc. Yes for a $1,000 you can get entry level VR going but people judge the value of their own money differently.
One thing razer has over rog is RAZER STICKERS
Wolfficial pffffffffffft
the super fast refresh rate phone screens will make sense if they get adaptive sync in the future
Who games so hard on phones man 🤯🤯🤯
funky M0nk 😁😁😁
what do you mean, your here but not here at all lol, also seeing you used emotes id assume ur on a phone.
theres supercell being coc and of course cr, hearthstone, duel links, new battle royale titles coming to mobile, and processing media being videos and photos etc. of course...cause its a modern phone.... and tons more.
I only play on my phone when taking a shit or at public transport
...k... lol
While not hugely popular in the US, mobile gaming is actually the biggest gaming platform in some countries
*reads title*
Jesus Christ did Linus drop a razor again?
Speaking of razors! Dollar Shave Club delivers amazing raz....Oh fuck off Dollar Shave Cunts.
I never thought that linus would call anything '' balls to the walls spec'' except those super fancy pc and laptops.
I have one question: why?
And the answer will be: because we can?
There's plenty of space for mobile games to grow, or better put, there's the money to put good games on mobile and many gamers have noticed it. Think it as a similar phenomenon as of owning a Nintendo GameBoy back in the day. If only the software could catch up...
Braq Bra I assume people playing games on their PCs are also stupid 15 year old boys with boring lives?
Anyway, I'm just saying THERE IS room and money on the mobile market to produce good games comparable to those of the GameBoy, DS, PSP, etc. I never said IT WILL happen.
But I can play those games on an iPhone, why should you need thins thing?
True PC and with Cloud gaming services like Liquidsky and Shadow gaming . You can now play PC games on any Smart phone Android or Mac. So it's kind of pointless but I guess someone will buy it. Ever since I tested out some of the new Cloud gaming services I would not waste money on gaming phone because there is no need anymore.
2:23 is that the Tech Chap on the far left¿ Lol
Yup !
not just me who noticed too
Looks good , dont mind the zen ui but a ps4 like menu on a phone would be cool in my opinion
Mobile gaming!? Why not just buy a switch?
That's what i'm thinking. Why not just buy an actual console with proper controls and a wide library of good games over a "gamer" phone with basically a fast CPU, decent screen and nothing else.
No apps no camera no calls
Or just buy a normal smartphone alongside the switch.
Linus excited for a product....im in
bionicbert hes not really excited this video is sponsored by the company so he has to act that way and tell good things bout the phone :3
ChromeGladiator he was sponsored by corsair, not asus
but yeah, thats mostly a shame
Ooo didnt notice xd sorry :3
I'm expecting now someday you make a video, explaining how combining random numbers of this ROG phone can immediately turn THESE into a handy random ratio external screen, also an BRIDGED(like SLI) external graphic "CARDS". That would be an interesting tech future XD.
that phone has higher specs than my computer
Brandon Garven How old is your computer?
The Dealer I have no money and arsenate in Australia is expensive, btw Dell optiplex
i also have 8 gigs this is embarresing xD
Im using a old laptop that has a amd phenom 2, integrated graphics, and 2 gigs of ddr3, i cant even run team fortress 2 or csgo on all lowest settings
just a tip bro if you are on a low budget you can actually combine cheap motherboards for close to double the power. just go to a pawn shop and grab some really cheap shit you can even combine more if you want. theres a dude on youtube who combined like 20 of those raspberry pi things its pretty amazing the power he got from it.
Mobile gamers be like
Murmaxy be like what?
Murmaxy Those two words don't go together
Axel, ge stinkt PUBG mobile?
What is Mobile Gamer? I have no understanding of such peasantry.
Mobile gamers? What type of homosexuality is that?
Why you changed the title?
Nice audio, nearly going deaf👍
I Still like razer though. Great phone asus
Zachery the razer phone is a good piece of kit. Probably a lot cheaper than this thing. Hopefully not though
Razer is also making a new one here the end of this year
Wa͟l̀ho͞r they're going to have to work hard to top this though
Don't know if it will all that difficult though I am curious to see what improvement they could make over a span of a year form release date i personally would like a less boxy design though not a key problem with the phone and an improvement on the cooling system
Zachery if this phone comes out at the same price as the current Razor phone then they should clap back with a phone called the Razor's Edge
Hey what happened to the “Razer just got REKT” title? Min-Tian Lan must be like “Cut off his sweet sponsee money” 😂
roblox on mobile at 60fps? LETS GOOO
way better than my 6" fire tablet
Hope u re kidding....
decoder55killer NO He's not
decoder55killer DO YOU THINK THIS IS A JOKE?!
Vice City ;)
If u have a kindle and play games in it I doubt u can afford such a premium product irregardless of the price being confirmed
Why the fluff did y'all charge the title so many FLUFFING times??
I have a video request that will probably not happen but...
What if you were to water cool a PC but with liquid nitrogen? I have never seen anyone try it before but if it's not possible you should try and make it work.
CorgoDragon won’t the components just freeze and break. Isn’t liquid nitrogen like -300 F
are you talking about submerging a whole PC in LN> or just using a pot on top of the cpu? because if so Linus did a sub zero phase change build on his channel a while back and thats pretty close.
th-cam.com/video/4d0B0Dli-1g/w-d-xo.html
Jubul Dowthitt I have seen that video but I am curious. Seeing someone liquid nitrogen cool a CPU and GPU.
Checkout jayz2cents. He posted a video yesterday of EVGA doing this
Liquid nitrogen cooling is a thing but only really with the guys who overclock for sport. It's a really bad idea to do that on a real meant-for-work system because it'll degrade your stuff insanely fast if you don't have your cooling rig running at all times (even when the machine is off)
Linus be like :
The lighting in this room is so terrible that it’s impossible to take a good picture.
Staff heard him...
Staff be like :
Sir, you need to get out of this building as soon as possible.
Lol. Corsair sponsored Asus content.
I know it sucks when nobody notices your comment
I don’t know why you think that’s funny. Corsair parts go into many computer builds
Aerin Gothyk I use Corsair, what's funny to me is Corsair sponsoring content on another manufacturer being showcased.
hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
Liquid metal application video coming soon ?
if they made it look like a normal phone then i'd be interested
taltigolt it looks like a phone what are you on?
TheSeaBast the giant airvent not being symmetrically placed
taltigolt The one that’s optional? You don’t need that.
no i mean the assymetrical thing on the back, remove it and it would look great
Its a bit too "gamery" for me too. I would love a phone with great cooling and performance and gaming accesoires but not if it looks like a spaceship.
Im ok with my LG G2 mini...
Binninja SANL i love my LG G5, also loved my G3 so i understand your feelings
I mean that seems cool for mobile gamers...
But, i almost never game on mobile devices because the games are copycat games of other poorly made games and its a waste...
For me, when it comes to gaming, id always choose a dedicated PC or console for gaming...
Multimedia is the only exception for mobile phones...
And most standard phones (i.e. Samsung, LG, Apple... the rest of those companies...) are more than enough for photos, videos, and music...
So... why game on a "GAMING" phone when you can save your money for a more useful device like a console or PC that get far better titles...
the thing this would be useful for is emulation. pack it with psp games or what ever your choice of emulation is and it seems like it would be nice to have
bmanuelangel I also own a LG G5 :D
Rip my G3, drowned because of intense raining while riding my motorcycle ... He'll be missed.
I’m kinda intrigued in this new phone sector, but not for the “gaming” aspect, but instead mostly for light video and audio production.
Expect no good dac/amp inside it. Most phones nowadays throw them aside for performance and Bluetooth
What the fuck is your profile picture?
im just in it for the rgb
lolfert No one “wants” to per se :)
> Mobile Qualcomm chipset are as good as PS4
Errr...
Unbeatable visuals!
[2160x 1080]
O-M-G!!! Bye bye Apple. Hello Asus 😈
Hello RMA forms
They changed the title lmao 😂
Did linus just changed the thumbnail? From the "razer destroyer?" Or something like that.
It'd be cool if this gaming on phone push would stop and these guys would make practical phones that people would love. Like the practicality of a galaxy s5 with the hardware of a s9 along and the software on par with apple
yes apple has dat "Magic software that makes a single core 2.9ghz processor better than a gaming laptop! (JOKING)
Software on par with Apple?lmao. iOS is the worst part of iPhones, its their chipsets that are the standout feature.
hignz the optimization is what makes them special.
It's called a Sony..
When a phone is more powerful then your computer...
My Razer phone recently updated and it's no longer a smooth experience, now this video came out. I'm going to curl up in a ball and drown my tears in sleep.
Especially interesting with the steam link app :)
Thanks valve for the app.
Hmm... Nothing said about the RGB in the phone..🤔🤔
Dhruv Jain the
Cool. Now where do i get one linus?
Ah, yes, a Core 2 optiplex in a phone, that seems reasonable.
Zcan Kal wot
Zcan Kal more like the top of the line snapdragon
" *Gaming* " Phone
im ok with that, my problem is it being gaming "phone"
