As a person who never liked Tim Paine as an opponent, it is shocking that his resurrected career has been ended in such a way. He should not have to give up cricket because of this. I don't know the exact story of Ms. X, but it does seem like Tim Paine did one thing wrong, for which the given punishment by the public is too harsh. The streets will never forget about him.
When paine became the captain for australia , i was very surprised,that a person I had never heard of was going to captain one of the best teams in our generation but what he did afterwards was brilliant.A great odi and test batsmen who would have been a great player to remember.Thank you Tim Paine for everything you have done.

Just don't have mindsets like "Oh, this can't happen to me or the people I am with are all good," because that's not reality. Humans are living organisms, and at our core, we all have self interests, which are instinctive.
Humans, when in full satisfaction mode, often become super confident and take unnecessary and meaningless risks.
If the person you are with has potential chances of taking advantage and getting away with it, and they are aware of their systemic advantage within the civilization, then it is a risk that can only be taken once in a lifetime, as after that you would not be in the condition to take second-chance risks like that.

What i believe about X is that she is a money digger. She started off with stealing money in reception. When she was cought, it took her time to prepare for her next heist which was Tim Paine harassment. If the harassment was real, she would have cased the file against Tim Paine, not cricket Australia. She filed case against cricket Australia Because she knew that if she wins the case, CA will give a lot of money as a penalty.
If Court considers the human tactics and important factors of the case, then i believe that X is gonna lose this case for sure.
Only mistake done by Paine was that he trusted and liked the wrong person. This should be a lesson for youth players that they should talk about personal things just to the people they really know.

Paine has been hard done by Cricket Australia. Paine has served his nation at the time of dark and is a major cog for forming the team which it is today. His issues are far less serious than that of Smith and Warner.

He is only Aussie Captain since STEVE WAUGH in 2001 who retained the ASHES in ENGLAND. He went toe-to-toe with Kohli and was fearless. Even when defeated, he stood back up after India sent Australia crashing in 2018-19. After he had crossed the line with R.Ashwin, he apologized for his conduct publicly. RESPECT

As a cricket lover, i admired what Tim brought to Australian team after the storms of Sand paper gate. One would have assumed a nosedive into the abyss but Tim lead the team well and got the results his way. CA should never forget the what he did in difficult times during which he was at helm.

It's the misuse of the "me too" movement. Plain and simple. You go around racking up harrasment points and complaints and you look at what is the most opportune time to cash in. Paine's infidelity, is a matter between him and his wife. The amount of disservice and damage this does to women who actually need help, who should rightfully have access to quick justice is immense. We should call her Amber Heard of Oz rather than X.

And if the problem is that he deceived his wife why did she file a suit against CA, not Paine? Had that been a male employee, I can’t help but feel that he would have gone to prison for being a thief.

Whoever X is clearly wasn't happy that Tim Paine got the all-clear from Cricket Australia. And if Paine's wife was willing to forgive him despite the forward texts, I am inclined to believe that Tim Paine is very much a victim here, a part perpetrator maybe, but a victim nonetheless. The women in recent history using the notion of sexual harassment to often ruin the careers of good, honest and talented men is frankly sickening, but what is worse is that the majority of the public is unwilling to defend the man in question either. I remember when I read about Tim Paine resigning and the reason behind it, I was furious. Because here was a man, who had been cleared of everything legally, once forced into exile, all because the people thought the woman must be right. I just hope Tim Paine gets the court judgement in his favor and move on with his life as a clean slate.

Ok, so let’s assume X is lying and doesn’t feel harassed. This makes sense to file a court case because at the time of the theft charges, if she accused Tim Paine, then some of CA’s focus might be shifted from her to him, so she could get away with the case.
Now let’s assume X is saying the truth. This is also possible, but it is a bit odd that she reveals this right around the time when she is getting charged. I agree with you when you said that it is a bit weird that she reveals this four years after. There could also be other things that have not been released, this is just my opinion on what I saw in this video
Form my perspective I think Tum Paine deserves a second chance... already the public court has proved Tim guilty while we don't know whether he did such actions of harrassments or not...even Steven Smith and Warner had given punishment of 1 year for the ball scandal...so tim Paine should make his comeback into the team as soon as possible...and if it doesn't happens we might get to hear the news of tim Paine 's retirement very soon...

Nobody resign because of allegations, they resign because the alternative is being fired. As for politicians, they are a representation of the people in the country. We are corrupt, so we have corrupt politicians.

It would be great to hear about the story of Yuvraj Singh who has been quite an unsung hero and did not receive a fair farewell. The way he was in and out of the team and then being the Player of the Tournament for 2011 World Cup to fighting the cancer, making a comeback to the team to finally retiring. He was a true match winner and made India believe anything is possible even if the cards are down since he was instrumental in pulling India out of a defeat time and again. The way he vanished from the team was surprising and he deserved more imo

Paine handled the team when they were in desperate time following sandpaper scandal. And also led to few famous wins over couple of years. He also saved Australia from further problem only to get himself trapped after old sexist remarks came out. And that had happened years back. No one understands real issue. He has now matured. He deserves respect for handling whole country on his shoulders. If it was not for him Australia cricket would never have recovered.
Similar case with Ollie Robinson who after playing first Test against India turned out to be potential last match after his 7-8 years old tweet on sexism went viral. He defied all and made remarkable comeback.
In today's world especially men should be utter careful about woman any woman with any type of relationship when that man is on such a top notch position. its absolutely heartbreaking to hear this because tim paine in my opinion was such a wonderful cricketer, to see him go in such a way is genuinely saddening. Such a talent fading into obscurity due to baseless accusations by a woman whose statement isnt trustworthy to say the least is absoluetly heinous. It's clear that Cricket Australia just tried to cut their losses with Tim Paine since they didn't want another controversy after the Sandpaper gate. Add to that the fact that his captaincy was already in question for not qualifying for the WTC final & his keeping going down gave them a reason to get rid of him.
