Other resources said to put a flathead screwdriver in and tap with a hammer. I didnt tap hard at all and my plastic ignition flew out of the back of my dash. It went into about 20 pieces with tiny springs and balls lying around. Not a good idea. I wish i would have 1st tried your method

Do you need to have a special key after you pop it? Or any key or flathead work?
@@KollynJ I used the glove box key. I think a flat head screwdriver would work also.
