The creator has a sort-of theme going with My Hero. One season/arc of uplifting positive vibes, followed by a season/arc of darker and heavier subjects. Each dark season/arc also seems to be more ominous then the last. As for the picture you saw, that was the Nomu before the modifications. They were just talking about it while showing the picture. Also, Nomu are ‘altered’ humans who have had damage to their brains due to the strain of multiple quirks. They aren’t dead. “Our Hero Killer is also a Hero Breeder.” Yes Suzy, that does make sense. There’s a lot going on that won’t make sense to you if your only looking at things at a surface value. You need to think about what’s going on and how this connects to things in their world as well as our world. Remember that Heroes are basically government agents that are used as celebrities for the civilian population to rally behind. So, what happens if Heroes are found to be corrupt, or are killed? How will this affect others and the public’s view of said heroes? Think on this between the episodes and you may start to realize just how dangerous these villains and Stain truly are.
I mean I do think she didn't upload her reactions to some of those... but yeah I find MHA to be more engaging. Also she said she wants to feel more and that the first part of season 1 was just ok, but the first episode are so emotional to me. At the end of the day, it's a matter of personal preferences.
I come from the Naruto fandom, and just recently started watching MHA! (it's so amazing btw!). But for me, I feel like MHA is more fast paced compared to Naruto. There was a time in Naruto where trying to get a sword out of your body took seven episodes!
@@unikorn1676 then again, it was about seven episodes for us, but in reality in all went down in a couple minutes, but because it’s paced out on how we see it then it looks like it took a long time🤷🏾♂️😁
Not really, it won't make any difference, fundamentally you either vibe with a show or you don't. I just don't think she fully gets My hero. Despite some thinking it's just a shonen It's not quite the same as other shonen shows. Her views on what's good and bad seem to be based on an understanding from watching lots of traditional shonen. For example, you see for many fans S2 with the sports festival is their favourate, why? when for her what she sees is somewhat slow, boring and no stakes. It's because its a character development arc, not a life or death battle arc. If you don't care about the characters or their relationships with each other, a conversation that you don't understand around a table definatley would seem like a waste of time. Like she thinks the nomu guy might be stain, which shows she was completely zoned out during the conversation with All Might. She says stain must have a reason for what he is doing, literally after being told the reason he does what he does, again showing she either doesn't care or isn't paying attention or just doesn't understand. Shigi explains how the hero killer is also a hero breeder, yet to her it makes no sense, after literally having it explained. How can you possibly enjoy something if you don't actually understand it. Her idea of a good shonen seems to be fights fights and fights. The problem is, anyone who understands My Hero knows the fights themselves are not the point of the show, the show doesnt go for the most long winded over the top battles. If she doesn't get My hero now, it doesn't matter what season it is she just doesn't get it. It's not her fault or a big deal, it's mostly just a taste thing. Like, some people just don't get or appreciate certain Music genres. It doesn't mean the music is bad, it's just that what it stands for doesn't personally apeal to that person. You can't make someone like music they don't like.
Don't hate, this show is not about just one hero. Its about how deku becomes the #1 hero but everyone of them has there moments the show goes straight up from here trust me.
MHA S2 is a lot of smaller arcs about character and moving pieces into place for the game board that comes later. Stick with it because things ramp up very quickly.
It took 80 eps for naruto to pick up after he fought sasuke n this is slow n u say deku's progress is slow wen naruto's was just as slow maybe even slower
Honestly, I'm not sure if this show is for you based on what you said. While there are arcs where the danger is very much present like the USJ arc and Stain arc, the show does equally have a focus on academics and the students learning. If you really don't enjoy those types of arcs, you might find you're pushing yourself to watch through 50% of the show. Obviously I'm here because I enjoy your reactions, but if you're feeling like it's a chore, I think it's fair for you to consider whether you really want to continue watching it or not. We only get one life and wasting your time on something you're feeling forced to do can just drag down your spirit. Take care of yourself first and foremost :)
No. The guy in the picture isn’t Stain. The guy in the pic is the monster that attacked the USJ. They altered him. And just get to season three now! Nōmū are people who have kidnapped and altered to hold multiple quirks.
The picture was what the original Nomu used to look like, and they say he used to be some bottom feeder criminal. Whoever All might believes has returned has modified him and given him multiple quirks as far as the show is telling us.
Hero killer stain ideology is great like we don't want people like that in future but there is one flaws about it and is killing or putting them out of commission with out knowing about those type of heroes that don't care about fame or money
I just wanna say, I really appreciate you continuing watching MHA and making videos. Honestly it's the only anime out of the one's you're covering that I have also watched and can relate to everything you're feeling.
Season 3 is amazing! Is what really showed me that my hero is greatness even tho I liked it already! And I’ve watched naruto as a matter of fact I was watching it at the time it was coming out and reading the manga! I loved it but I do like my hero more
It's a fair criticism. How I describe mha sometimes is that it's a intermittent pattern of high stakes to low stakes action with 10/10 moments but being an overall 7/10 anime.

Let's say that season 4 made me wanna cry my soul out

The nomu are not clones, they are victims of forced quirk acquisition. A normal person cannot physically handle more than one quirk

also suzy: *watches a million naruto filler episodes*

Suzy Lu: "while the second half just seems to be.. meh"
Deku unlocking One For All Full Cowling: Am I a joke to you?
I think Season 3 of My Hero is what Suzy is looking for.
And Season 4... What a season... O_O

If you want a sense of urgency... patience is all you’ll need
I liken the Nomu as a mob of zombies with several X-Men like superpowers created by reading the notes of Dr. Frankenstein.
Me who was waiting for the dog to wake up
The picture of the dude was that Nomu before he was modified. Just a regular person and someone made him Into that Nomu.
I thought the dog had been attacked by the nomu lol

My Hero Akademia is about students, which are learning to become heroes. Not heroes who are fighting villains constantly.
