Hey, NC didn't give recreational anglers a flounder season at all this year. I live in Virginia by the Chesapeake Bay and I caught flounder all summer. But only 3 keepers over 17.5".

I miss trolling in Florida and in Costa Rica. I never caught grouper that way but I caught lots of pelagics. Now I would love to get out in a boat and drag lures in the Chesapeake Bay. It's tough from my kayak.
It's fun to see y'all catching grouper, especially trolling. We don't get them up here but I caught them growing up in Florida.

Do yourself a favor I do a lot of trolling for grouper I saw you were going 5 to 6 kn slow it down to 3.8 to 4 kn and you will get the larger grouper I promise just try it
