Mike has been around for twenty yr galeforce maybe five galeforce probably learn from mike. This is probably his fifth planer update it changes yearly JT
Yes they did... I'm sure many people haven't seen their video, Mike and many other TH-camrs are just trying to help those people that don't know this method.
Thanks captain mike - love seeing different rigging techniques! I have been running planers and in-line weights using a bridle system for a few years now. I spliced bridle loops using hollow core spectra. No swivels and straight run to my long leader. You said no more than 80 on the leader. Why? I have been running 120 forever and was always told the heavier leader runs better behind the plainer. Love to hear your thoughts Now if I can figure out how to keep the weeds off the planer, then I will have something!!!! BoG, big pine key
Hey Mike, I didn’t see roller guides on that rod….do the small aussie swivels hurt the regular circle guides? BTW…Thanks for always putting out great content!
Hy Bryan, no question here that you need high quality ring guides, you can use rollers but likely AFTCO Big Foot guides with ample space for swivels, this is no place for cheap guides with cheesy ceramic inserts. By the way, please join my streaming channel at www.FSFTV.com.
I like this but disagree about the wire. Sometimes I get more bites on wire. It’s thinner diameter then mono and doesn’t fluoresce with light. My dad fished w some legendary giant fisherman and the two best guys he fished w one guy used only wire one used only mono. My dad used both and said sometimes more bites on the wire sometimes more on the mono
Instead of using those Swivel's put 2 loops untied like tie on and put headsman on it it doesn't move and Lil Wayne's not big ones little loops you still could snap on w clip
Thing is Mike if you have rods already set up over to set up for all 81I50 wide 130 wide International ones You don't know what I'm talking about have a snap ready for anything we'll make a difference your high speed of controlling strolling for wahu or tuna Marlin whatever the date it is it's ready for what species does it matter now you have to get certain rods odds for that style fishing That set up That set up Some people may not have the money for it some people may have the money for it Twins do that as well
Hand Lining a Fish is The Greatest Feeling ever

I had trouble keeping the planer from tripping the other day. Does ballyhoo cause this
About to set up a combo and might get one of your rods but what knots do you use to make the bridle connections from both ends?
How many meters line from the boat to planer
