I'm sorry you can't all get in and test 4.0 right now, i really think its ready to open up to wider, persistent PTU ASAP for a higher volume of server mesh testing. I will be making a "New Features Explained" for 4.0 when it drops and everyone has access, so keep an eye out for that... Soon™? Thanks for your support as always!
I think we'll probably be getting 4.0 Wave 1 in EPTU in about a week. The servers are running fantastically from what I've seen on streams, which is amazing for Evocati.
Dtox tests it so we don't have to 🤩 The future looks exciting, but as normal I am not holding my breath... yet. I think it's a great move from CIG to remove the NDA's on the avocado 🥑 gangs access, there's a lot more carrots for content creators to dangle. Great info thanks D and very entertaining 👍
@DTOXTV - Apologies ,Just to let you know after watching your test live and seeing the lack of distortion damage in the tunnel I hopped in and tested it myself - It is a known bug - see notes PU - Stanton/Pyro - Jump Points - Ships / Vehicles / Game Code - Flying against Jump Tunnel Walls does not cause a Failure State
I watched you play this live, and even in its current EVO state, it's more stable than LIVE atm. lol. They really need server meshing working 100% otherwise we are going to continue to have all these issues.... that is ofc if they can get it 100%.
I would have imagined that being in a wormhole with it's curved space that it would not be so easy to exit through the sides. Maybe if someone did want to leave a wormhole, it should be more of a deliberate action.
Watching your first jump was a little hard, since I knew you bugged out as soon as you flew out of the tunnel in the beginning. It is working better in more current builds.
So basically: They are still just putting out fancy new ships to get your mouth watering, but the game is still broken. Missions dont work. Major performance issues. Crashes half the time. So after 12 years of being funded CIG still only have an alpha. Not even a beta. Just a proof of concept. Thats it. And they keep asking for MORE money.
Given how unfun, unstable, and unperformative it is, I would not call this Alpha. This is pre-alpha. The worrying thing is the growing attitude among the fans that it's not only fine , but it SHOULD be like this and it's ridiculous that anyone would expect to *ever* get any better after any length of time.
What progress! Let's hope those delivery terminals accept packages in patch 17.8! Maybe once they extort another $500,000,000 (yes, they have already taken in HALF OF A BILLION DOLLARS) from British Pensioners - sorry, I meant the player base - we'll get the kind of basic functionality that single-dev indie games have after 2 months. In the meantime, enjoy the fancy new jump visuals that look like the same 1998 screen saver everybody had by default. Literally nothing interesting here. Just more demo-level pre-alpha bullshit at 15fps.
If you're not trying to play the perfectly announced new testing of tech then the game is fine for the most part. Play test material get test results. Smh.
@@djirate052380 i was jesting because for real, SC hasnt worked properly for me at all since the arena commander days, i come back once a year, performance is hot garbage every time, nothing works right, i uninstall and come back next time, smh

Its hilarious all SC fanboys have finally got to the end of the hopium road with server meshing less than 2 months away after a 10 year waits and if it doesnt work its GG, and they know it, even they wont play 15-25fps.
It makes zero sense to go in blind and consistently mess up. Just watch a video and see how to do it. Pointing your ship directly at the tunnel wall obviously throws you out, so you just keep doing it? WOW.
Crazy man, imagine finding things out for yourself in a video game. I bet you have to consult the internet on how to take a piss standing up too, in case you do it wrong.

@@harabecswurveweathers Trouble is, player counts seem really low. Not many Evo are playing/testing - we need moar meat!
@@DTOXTV yes absolutely. I'm waiting on baited breath for Wave 1 so I can get in there and contribute to the testing.
I am hoping to join soon. Going to figure out exactly how to get started lol

Neutral hangars are going to have abandoned ships in them as a reward that you get to keep.
I just want stable FPS my guy lol
Server Meshing is yet to be proven. We shall wait and see. WAIT! You're the guy that invented Tonk Royale!? 😎

Glad they got rid of the tacky lightening effects on the wormhole
My grandkids gonna have alot of fun playing this.
Finally releasing a vid DTOX, and always a pleasure watching, even if the EVO build is a mess!
Cheers mate!
I spoilerd wormholes for me and let's say your experience wasn't the one I had seen before.
Good content, hope I get to play myself in wave 1 soon (
Damn, meanwhile CIG support cant figure out why I cant select my home system in the PTU. I just wanna peek at my starlancer early and fly it

2 years*

yup and the server meshing bullshit theyve been hyping up for years the game will probably still run like shit and be unoptimized AF

Evo is basically an alpha of an alpha, so it'll be even worse than usual.
Live is a mess right now too though. 😢
Its so entertaining following the 'development' of this scam I mean tech demo I mean game.
A bit weird you ctd so much because i didn't have a single during our session together.
Smells like sabotage to me.
@DTOXTV Glenn!

Gameplay is very 2004 Ubisoft The Division.
Tech demo of jank. Wow
you meant enemy dummies right?
Cuz there is no A.I there..
they do the same thing every year and the game is unplayable
StarEngine is giving Unreal a run for their money.
Sadly, they aren't even the same sort of engine. They don't really compete.
I'unno about all that, i wish it was... Maybe in some respects.... Others? Not so sure about that.
