Hi I enjoyed the video very much. Reason 1, I didn’t have to wait hours or weeks before I needed it. Reason 2, you have a good voice and you articulate a potentially difficult tool, into one that doesn’t paralyze you to a early overwhelm. I never felt that, in fact you may have resolved multiple tasks for me. Reason 3. I can begin a project sooner than I expected, I first wondered if I took on to much. I no longer feel that way. I can just think and plan my projects.
Amazing video! I was using Maya a lot but it was lik 8 years ago, this video is such a good way to remember all the quirks and tricks that I have "on the tip of my tough" but would not remember by myself if i just open up Maya and stare at the interface. Thank you friend!
Great break down, the only thing is that these can be said to pretty much every poly modelling tool out there. Didn’t see any feature that was specifically unique to Maya. Except for the ‘Delete History’ command and maybe UI and shortcuts
Thanks! and yes you're right, majority of the tools I use can be used with other software like Blender, 3Ds max, etc. that's why I always tell Blender users out there my videos don't only cater to Maya or Substance Painter but the workflows can be brought into other 3D software out there as well :) Every artist shouldn't be limited with the software they can use, and in the industry sometimes you have to use other programs to get the job done. Thanks for the comment! :)
Thank you! Also, regarding CP, FT and del history there are buttons already created on poly modelling shelf, the blue ones, between svg and boolean (in M24), combine (older version of maya).
Sorry, what exactly do you mean select through an object? You can hide objects by pressing Control + H. And then unhide them by selecting them in the outliner and pressing shift + H.
hey bro i m from INDIA ..... i serached for days to get content what i want .... the great "maya experts" make videos that only they can understand.... cmon bro we are here coz we want to learn something....... i dont know that where r u from, but after watching ur 2 videos , I tried with u as u doing in video and i followed u with one youtube window and one maya window open, and bro u dont believe i've made a canon ( your cannon video), (and i use to work in maya arround 10 years ago)... and i'm half done of apocalyptic bus half, literally.......... ur initiative much appreciated man...........just keep posting full videos like this ....srry bro thats too much words..but i'm glad to see that even now there r some people who just want to share knowledge...thanks man........... im from india so please fogive me abt language, but im sure u can understand what i m tring to say
Wrong software. I think in Maya are called plugins. But they are so scattered, don’t think there is a nicely packaged ecosystem for them and is so hard to find standardised set of Maya plugins that everyone uses. They are more dependable on what studio you are at. But certainly there are a lot of great gems out there
Actually, I am a 3D Environment Artist and I have some projects of my own... The reason I asked you for blender tutorials was to learn different modeling ways or to close some things I know. Blender and Maya allow to model the same things in different ways, you can model easily with blender, while Maya is much more complicated, difficult to learn and as a result of long efforts, I think you can create a model. That's why I asked you for the blender tutorial.
@@name92839or modeling blender pretty much have the same tools, you just need to Google it because sometimes the tools have a different name, I have been following Maya modeling tutorial using blender without a problem
Thanks!

Hi! can you put blender instead of maya autodesk and do some blender tutorials? ie blender + substance painter...
This Maya hacks are also in Blender so you can do the same
Tools*
I just discovered you and I like what you do. You use substance painter well... do you plan to work in a company?
