  • I'm doing the Time and Place tag and getting a little bit more personal, so if you want to get to know me a bit better, this video is for you. Books can really bring up a lot of memories and dreams and it was a really nice tag to participate in. Thank you Pat for tagging me to do it!
If you would like to do the tag as well, please go ahead! The prompts are listed below and let me know when you post your version so that I can watch it!
I hope you're having a great day, and if not that it gets better. Perhaps with a good book. Or some sunshine :) Or the very cringe thumbnail cam at the end of this video. The things we do for booktube...

Oh what a fun tag! Thank you so much for tagging me! I'll have to consider my answers and see when I can film it. :)
I am so sorry for the loss of your Mom. No matter how long it has been since the loss of a loved one, the grief is always there.

It was fun! I’m looking forward to hearing your answers 😊 No rush though!
Thank you. That’s very true. 💜
Yes I would love to go there, that would be a trip of a lifetime. Hopefully more than one but it’s very far from here :)
Haha cool maybe we were there at the same time ^^ It was kind of a surreal experience, very different from Swedish school and culture. We don’t pay for lunch or have security guards at the entrance, for example, which was the case where I went. But also very valuable and memorable.

I totally get your struggle with nostalgic books. Lots of books remind me of my Dad, who has passed; those emotions can unexpectedly sneak up. ❤

Lovely responses to the prompts! I feel like I learned a lot about you from your responses. I was very moved by your discussion of your favorite book from your childhood and your associations to your mom. 🥰 Wonderful video!

Thank you Pat! I'm glad you felt that way, it wasn't my intention going into it, but it ended up being a bit more personal this time. And I'm very grateful for my childhood and my parents, so it's nice to be reminded of that too, even if it's emotional sometimes. Thank you for being here! 💜

I hope you enjoy! There are a lot of them, Henning Mankell and Liza Marklund are also translated I think.

Ronja!! I loved the book and I was obsessed with the movie, not many people know it hear in the netherland, so whenever I meet someone who does remember it we are like instant best friends 😅 I haven't watched the new netflix adaptation yet, I'm too scared to be disappointed..

Yes it’s very special to me as well! So I guess we’re besties now haha! I’m also very scared to be disappointed. There are some moments in the movie, like Lovis singing to Ronja, and the father’s grief when one of the robbers dies… I cant imagine them with other people or being done any other way. They make me tear up just thinking about them! But I’ve heard it might be more like the book, so maybe that’s a plus. I’m hesitant but curious :)
