@@user178299 Nope. I've bought velcro squares, made my own necklace, sticky to recorder. All recorders, while they can sound good, are absolute shit, design-wise. A person needs instant rec when the power on button is pressed and direct USBC copying to any device. That recorder does not exist.
I think it can be great depends on how you want to use it... Quality wise for what you want for audio I think they did not got it. For size and easy to use they are on the right Way.. Hope as you say to connect te mic would be a plus.. They could have done better but I think they are on the right track.. I am looking forward to a update

I used a big voice recorder once to catch a cheater lol i put it inside the head rest of the driver side to catch calls and it was great but im not sure if this will help
Hi, you need to connect the recorder to the App for playback, which means as long as your phone and recorder are within Bluetooth range, you can sync the recordings to your phone and playback.

Apparently you have to have your phone close to the recorder in order for it to stay connected with the ability to record through the app...is that correct or am I doing something wrong?

iZYREC outdoor was far superior to the Sony tested. Mind you it is rather expensive, but it works very well. Nice review Michael.

Yeah, I also very mich hope to see external mic recording possibility. Would be great to have a portable mini-alternative to devices like Zoom H1.

You are correct. But it could be a distance of a few meters, which is quite good
So if I want to record someone when I am not home is not going to work because I have the phone with me at my work 😒
