For 12 years now they have set the standard of love and tolerance. Kevin is very religious but was at Scott and Marks wedding loud and proud. Kevin’s religion doesn’t allow him to perform Friday sunset to sunset Saturday. They have respected his beliefs and don’t perform on Fridays. If the world could respect and love one another and celebrate differences like PTX It would be a better place.
One of the many things I love about this group is how much they respect each other, for real. They keep their recordings family friendly - which is why Superfruit gave Scott and Mitch a way to express themselves more openly.
I love that they all truly accept each other's beliefs. A blueprint of the way we should all live. The world would be a much better place. Cant wait for reaction#12. An iconic television moment.
It's funny because Kevin gets so many compliments on his beat boxing, and he said he didn't know much he was watching videos to learn things every day during the singoff. Lol
Another great reaction, but the best is yet to come. Their respect for each other got them through the trial of this competition, and has served them well ever since. Ben stated in one of his critiques, "what more 'new' could they come up with each week?!?" Well, they've been coming up with *"new"* for over thirteen years now! That's real talent...how lucky are we? The next performance will knock you off your seat.....so better buckle up! And the last performance is just gravy, it seals the deal and gives us hints of what's to come!
You are doing a wonderful job with these Sing Off performances. Of course, I've seen them dozens of times and I never tire of seeing the origins of Pentatonix!

Sean was so spot on with his praise of Avi and Kevin......The fact they shared and apartment and just worked on honing their skills really shows as the contest goes on.
Yeah , "take out the booty line" was funny, almost as funny as when Mitchy said that they sounded "too ghetto" in a prior show. They were so young and cute, it just makes you smile. But for me - Avi's body rolls were almost too much! They did one show a week for about 3 months, and it seemed crazy to me that they could perfect a song that they had never sung before, or possibly not heard before, let alone 2 in one week. The next one, #10, is a banger, and it seemed to be the one that put them at the top. Can't wait to see your reaction to the next one!
Also, when they started performing live and touring, in respect for Kevin's religious beliefs, they would not book performances on Friday night or Saturday during the day, since that is considered the Sabbath in his religion. Pretty amazing group of young people.

Of course we know how steadfast Kevin is in his belief even until now. And that intro would have some basis. Although I've also read before how these were scripted to give some bit of competition. This performance took some time to grow on me but after hundreds of times watching it, I just have to appreciate this arrangement, even jazzy at certain points
They frequently alter lyrics to avoid bad language, for example they frequently sub in “Mitch” for you know what, like “bad Mitch’s like me are hard to come by” (Starships, if you haven’t seen that one it’s really fun and not a lot of reactors cover it).
Great job with all of your reactions, and not just Pentatonix. They just get better and better through the contest. There is one song that really blew me away, can't wait to see your reaction to it!

They did a really great job with this performance, as usual. I don't care for the song, for the same reasons that Kevin was uncomfortable with it, but I can appreciate what they did with it. (Kevin didn't actually say, but I think his problem was not so much that the song was sexy as that it kind of objectifies the woman's body. And, of course, even though he wasn't singing any of the lyrics, he would prefer the "Omigosh" version.) There are only 3 songs left in the competition (the others are just for fun), so if you're keeping track, that means that all 3 are in my top 5! So far we've had Love Lockdown (my #4) and Born to Be Wild (my #2), and my list has 3 empty slots. Can't wait to see if you agree with my choices!
Respect to Kevin for standing up for his beliefs. Great performance. Born to Be Wild and Love Lockdown are definitely up there for me too.

This is not my favorite, or is my least favorite from the sing off, but not because Ptx because I dont like the song, but this show how they are as group, they respect each other,
This was their least favorite performance.
There's a lot of post-season 3 appearances. All of the Christmas shows, season 4 finale (home free). There's a song with Nick Lachey. Their "swan song", which they sing after winning, but they would have sung that had they been voted off.
Mitch in particular said in the Superfruit reaction to The Sing Off video that “OMG” was his least favorite.

Still my least Favorite performance that they did. It just it doesn't flow right and although you know you can tell that they're still incredibly talented I just don't really care for this rendition of this song. I do love how respectful they were even then to each other and to each other's beliefs especially when you consider they had only known each other for maybe a month at this point.
