kushala's blessing, healing up, and healing speed might not even be needed at this point TBH as long as your defence is high enough not to get you one shotted. im not going to be saying why just yet since i have planed to do so in another way later this week
@@MisterDemonTC Right, this was the best move for Capcom, since so many one slots were irrelevant until recently. Now fingers crossed we get more love for 3 slot Decos. I'm thinking Intrepid Heart will be a 3 slot since its only 2 points.
Also another thing I learned from this video was that Blood Rite did get a decoration in this update. I honestly thought we were going to have to wait for an “Evolved Malzeno” or something, but now I have an extra goal to work towards between getting the armor pieces and reaching The Risen Kushala to make the decorations. Got lots of catching up to do.
Hinoa and Minoto are one of my default teams in part because I main HH. So I call us the Doot Squad. I'm going to go craft this right now and compare it to the builds I've been using. I might still be using the Bombadgy Hunting Horn because it has better slots than most options and Chameleos isn't as good for HH as it is other weapons.
I mean, I just went with full Risen Kushala and got that sweet Attack Boost 7 with an Aurora crafted talisman, slapped in defense boost and divine blessing, and just facerolled.
I've never played immortal builds before but this sounds so hilarious, I'm going to use this build with a HH and Diversion and just tank support everything online.
Been doing that already with a buffer cat litteraly giving the team 15% attack up, 50% affinity, all buddys spam abilities and gain up to 15%- 25% attack up plus 50% affinity. Inferno melody and the cats buffs leads up to 35% and 50% affinity for players and 45% attack up and 50% affinity for Buddy's
@MrOverToke HH is now an elemental weapon so technically you have to choose HHs based on the monster's weakness. But if there's one most reliable horn to use it would be Skytremor Rumble, the Narwa HH. It has high raw and thunder element, Stun Negated, Health Recovery L, Health Regen. All you need to do is spam Health Recovery L combo and you and your team won't be carting.

I literaly maxed out the last immortal sett in the last 5 or 6 hours and when im finaly done i see this pop up on youtube... Back to the grind I guess.
I am so happy how this turned out. To be honest i was expecting the video to start off with goku turning super sayian 3 and each transformation is the previous immortal build . I still love this video
I knew it was coming but the only thing I'm not looking forward to is the grind to anomaly level 181. The good news is that by the time I get there, I'll have more than enough coins to buy the 3 Malzeno Stones for the jewels. THANKS JOSH!!! Can't wait to roll this bad boy out.
So for me the best weapon options are the Luciant Nargacougar or the Kamora Glaive. I would probably swap heroics for power prolonger just because of my weapon type but I'll see how it goes. I still play defensively so I'm not always getting smacked around so I don't think it'll make or break me, but given what it does for IG it's an offense and defensive skill. Also this is way better than the improvements I made to the build, my anomaly investigation lvl is only like 80 though.

I just bring 2 waiufu maidens (hinoa and minoto) with my gunlance, never even got to half hp against anything , this is so much overkill but seems so fun too
That's what I've been doing. Fighting the afflicted monsters with both of the maidens by my side while I just focus on beating the monster with my Switch Axe has made the grind that much more fun and bearable.
I was able to improve my insect glaive tanky/hp regen/crit build so much more with this current update n even though it isn't exactly where I want it yet since I need to unlock some of the new decos it's still really good for what im aiming for: Crit eye 5, def boost 4, atk 4, crit boost 3, weak ex 3, master touch 3, power prolong 3, defiance 3, divine bless 3, recover up 3, recover spd 3, peak preform 2, blood rite 2, burst 2, stun res 2, stamina surge 2 part break 1, dragonheart 1 spiribird call 1 edit: I also eat a dango driver which really helps with the hp regen

While the Chameleos GS is and has been an excellent poison weapon, Kaktus Seele (F. Espinas HH) might simply be superior for the cozy player. Same slots and poison damage (poison is hidden on the weapon, so unsure how the rates compare), but you get the added benefit of sharpness regen, which means you don't need to heal OR sharpen (unless you are a fiend like me that loves the ->A, X, X+A, ->X+A loop, which means you'll need to sharpen once or twice if you want max damage). It's been my comfort weapon of choice since last patch!
@MrPlantEater Well I'm no expert, so take anything I suggest with a grain of salt, but I do play a lot of HH! My preferred switch skills are Silkbound Shockwave (almost as good as a counter in terms of safety, and worth having up the entire hunt due to the passive dps buff) and Sonic Bloom because I am lazy! Honestly, you could toss in some silk binds and finish most quests with just that loop, but I find that it gets dry a little quickly! However, so long as you have something to make sharpness less of a worry (with the sharpness regen song being the obvious go-to), ->A, X, ZR becomes stronger in my opinion. The additional hits from adding X *CHEW* through your sharpness meter, but also add a ton of damage and stun value to the combo. Still not as safe as the optimal route, but you can always cut it short. However, if you find yourself a good opportunity to wail on a monster, that's the opportune time to go for the full ->A, X, XA, ->XA, and the final hit loops back into itself with another ->A. A lot of what I love about HH is that there is a LOT of room to modify combos on the spot to adjust to the monster's behavior. Most any move flows nicely into everything else, and EVERYTHING flows into ZR. ZR is safety. Finally, as to when to pop Magnificent Trio (or Infernal Melody, for that matter), it's usually worth triggering if all your songs are down for a refresh, but I usually don't have a problem with song maintenance since you can just break combo to put in double As, Xs, or X+As. I usually save my MT and IM until I have a complete set up of 1) Silkbind Shockwave for additional hits, 2) Any relevant songs active for damage or ensuring things go smoothly, and 3) Sonic Bloom for a big sprinkle on top. If you've never seen what a HH player's screen looks like when chaining a Shockwaved Magnificent Trio into a Sonic Bloom burst, INTO a Shockwaved Infernal Melody, you haven't lived. The monster is either getting KO'd, Stunned, or knocked into mountable state on most occasions. Sorry for the textbook, but it was fun to share what I've picked up after 300+ HH hunts! This is the first MH I've dug into, and I never thought I'd know all this about a weapon. The HH is just a perfect mix of flowing dps, ultra aggressive I-frames, and the added perk of party support to me that it's hard to put down. Hopefully this helps you on your fledgling HH journey!
I personally play what I called a Regen-build that just became better in TU3. Namely, while it isn't about being immortal, the point of the build is to regen health constantly without putting your weapon away and maintaining Peak Performance and Wind Mantle. To that end, I have 3 Defiance, 4 Kushala Blessing, 2 Recovery UP, 3 Blood Rite, Quick Breath to heal Blights and to gain Coalascence, 3 Stun Resistance, 1 Intrepid Heart, and finally Dango Shifter/Defender (the one that acts as Divine Blessing)/Medic. This is a newer build that I need to test, but the version I had before which didn't have Recovery UP and instead had Spiritbird Call basically made me stay at full health for 80% of the fight and only used a potion if I'm in danger of dying in the next hit.
Hmmm. I think I like my armor set better when it comes to HH. I can purposefully get hit, knocked back, and blighted and it makes me stronger. Raccoon auldhorn, risen kushala helm, gloves, and legs, gold lune chest, malzeno coil, recovery up and burst talisman. My defense is 960, i have full defense, defiance, divine blessing, recovery up, recovery speed, stun resistance, speed sharpening, wirebug whisperer, burst, wind mantle, horn maestro, diversion, and spiribird's call. Also it has a bunch of handicraft, kushala blessing, counterstrike, blood rite, coalescence, a bit of heroics, part breaker, flinch free, and a few other random skills.
Not full immortal but my royal order gs set has 861 defence with d.blessing 3, rec’ up 3, rec’ speed 3, stun res 3, kush blessing 3, defiance 3, intrepid heart 2, guard up 1, spiribird call and bloodrite 1 (will be 2 when I can make the deco). Its also got wex 3, crit boost 3, attack boost 7, crit eye 7, burst 2, coal’ 1, powder mantle 2 and a few Qol skills on top like WW2, ee1, flinch free 1. Very little feels threatening now and it still dishes out really high damage.
I’m not trying to brag or anything like that but It’s actually very funny that I have Max level furious & level 4 heroics while still having Wind Mantle & all of the essentials at the cost of 2 levels of agitator. I may not have level 1 foray but I do have level 1 poison attack. The funniest thing about this is that I have a rarity 9 talisman to really weeve it together. None of my rarity 10 talismans even come close to what this one does for this build. Level 3 divine blessing Level 2 recovery up And 1 “level 1” decoration slot🤩
Picked this up for console release. Is this build possible on console or not until the sunbreak release in a few months? Also, what build would you recommend to use while I build into this one?
TL:DR what I want but will never happen lol The ONLY two things I wish were possible, to make this build the absolute peak (for me), is that monster attacks didn’t clip through shields again. In MHW:I you could stand behind a lance /gunlance blocking and you wouldn’t get hit either as long as the monster didn’t actually hit you. (Insert famous video of lance main blocking one of Fatty’s fire breath attacks and someone standing behind him for safety). In RiseBreak, at least in my experience, that doesn’t happen anymore. If that were still possible it would allow me to go full tank, using twin vine and slotting in diversion. That would already be amazing and hit me right in the “feels good man”. Something else would be allowing blood rite to be affected by wide range, so that if you want to play a supportive roll you didn’t have to play HH or SNS.
I imagine it's not truly immortal,that one GIANT bubble attack Violet Mizitsune pulls at one point does absolutely OBSCENE amounts of damage I might have to try and make this build, and then intentionally get hit by it... I'll keep y'all posted
Running Gunlance with a build akin to this feels spectacularly busted... I'd probably sacrifice heroics for some extra shelling power, but that's about it
This build has unreal synergy. Embolden and defiance keep the monster enraged while doing absolutely jack, With defense boost and divine blessing you take even the strongest hits, but adrenaline rush and intrepid heart allow you to completely dodge half the the attacks the monsters swing at you. If you do take damage, recovery up, recovery speed, and blood rite can let you get it back in seconds. This is the true unkillable build
Unfortunately as a CB user, the decoration reqs are heavier for me to give a more fluid playstyle. I don't have bloodrite or furious or agitator. However this is a COMFY build. I don't have to go after spirit birds unless it's a monster I'm not familiar with.
I’m also a CB user. I would suggest using the flaming Espinas CB for this set, it’s what I use. 2 reasons, 1 it has the slots you need. 2 it uses fire, AND poison. The poison portion works well with this set, and the fire helps a bit too. Hope this helps.
@@celestialrenamon I didn't know there was a hidden status on those weapons. Maybe I'll slap that on my fire build. All my comfy builds are impact unfortunately, so element phials won't have that stun effect I go for.
Haven't played since TU1, think I'm right about to unlock scorned magna (about MR 97 or 98 ish) and hadn't really touched the afflicted system for Quiros crafting.. What does it take at this point to get back to it and build out a nice comfy immortal set from there?
Basically just do more investigations and grind your anomaly level to unlock higher tier afflicted part upgrades for weapon augmentation as well as better options for armor augmentations
It goes quickly if you do other quests in between. I really hated the inflicted investigations for the longest time but recently unlocked A6 and am having a blast. If it gets too boring, just do something else and come back to it. It gets more fun later on.
Seems ideal to start a hunt in a full unga bunga damage loadout, if you come down to the final faint switch this set on with Fortify & never fail a hunt again 😂

To be honest, at this point this sort of build. You probably already play far enough to not needing immortal build. But having one with greatsword would greatly make it a lot cheese to play in the fun way.
I think now Capcom know 90% of ate pretty much done everything with our hard earned skill to get where we are now so they just letting us have fun by giving all these QOL options to play with good job.
Minoto is on the defense, she will try not to get hit as much, but also gives amazing hunting horn buffs. If it's just healing oyu want though, conside swapping her out for galleus, he has wide range on his armor.
@RageGamingVideos correction in the editing there m8. The first set you show has the qurios crafting skills in it when you said it was the template build without the qurious crafting, the second build shown is the template before qurios crafting.
Optional, it just makes you even more defensive, especially furious, at +3 all elemental resistances get +20, and if you swap to blue scroll, infinite stamina as well. Heroics is just to not die at low health. But if you don't need those go for offensive skills, as he said in the video.

Not full immortal but my royal order gs set has 861 defence with d.blessing 3, rec’ up 3, rec’ speed 3, stun res 3, kush blessing 3, defiance 3, intrepid heart 2, guard up 1, spiribird call and bloodrite 1 (will be 2 when I can make the deco). Its also got wex 3, crit boost 3, attack boost 7, crit eye 7, burst 2, coal’ 1, powder mantle 2 and a few Qol skills on top like WW2, ee1, flinch free 1. Very little feels threatening now and it still dishes out really high damage.
if you're low on offensive skills, poison weapons are the best ones to do damage?

I’m not trying to brag or anything like that but It’s actually very funny that I have Max level furious & level 4 heroics while still having Wind Mantle & all of the essentials at the cost of 2 levels of agitator. I may not have level 1 foray but I do have level 1 poison attack. The funniest thing about this is that I have a rarity 9 talisman to really weeve it together. None of my rarity 10 talismans even come close to what this one does for this build. Level 3 divine blessing
Level 2 recovery up
And 1 “level 1” decoration slot🤩

Picked this up for console release. Is this build possible on console or not until the sunbreak release in a few months? Also, what build would you recommend to use while I build into this one?
This version of the build wouldn't be possible until sunbreak. He has an immortal build video from over a year ago that can be made in base Rise.

The ONLY two things I wish were possible, to make this build the absolute peak (for me), is that monster attacks didn’t clip through shields again.
In MHW:I you could stand behind a lance /gunlance blocking and you wouldn’t get hit either as long as the monster didn’t actually hit you. (Insert famous video of lance main blocking one of Fatty’s fire breath attacks and someone standing behind him for safety).
In RiseBreak, at least in my experience, that doesn’t happen anymore. If that were still possible it would allow me to go full tank, using twin vine and slotting in diversion.
That would already be amazing and hit me right in the “feels good man”. Something else would be allowing blood rite to be affected by wide range, so that if you want to play a supportive roll you didn’t have to play HH or SNS.
Today, I got burst on teostra helm and wex on rarhalos waist as well as a lv2 slot on ingot boots. Should i go to the irl lottery ?
I imagine it's not truly immortal,that one GIANT bubble attack Violet Mizitsune pulls at one point does absolutely OBSCENE amounts of damage

Running Gunlance with a build akin to this feels spectacularly busted... I'd probably sacrifice heroics for some extra shelling power, but that's about it

This build has unreal synergy. Embolden and defiance keep the monster enraged while doing absolutely jack, With defense boost and divine blessing you take even the strongest hits, but adrenaline rush and intrepid heart allow you to completely dodge half the the attacks the monsters swing at you. If you do take damage, recovery up, recovery speed, and blood rite can let you get it back in seconds. This is the true unkillable build

Unfortunately as a CB user, the decoration reqs are heavier for me to give a more fluid playstyle. I don't have bloodrite or furious or agitator. However this is a COMFY build. I don't have to go after spirit birds unless it's a monster I'm not familiar with.
I’m also a CB user. I would suggest using the flaming Espinas CB for this set, it’s what I use. 2 reasons, 1 it has the slots you need. 2 it uses fire, AND poison. The poison portion works well with this set, and the fire helps a bit too. Hope this helps.
@@celestialrenamon I didn't know there was a hidden status on those weapons. Maybe I'll slap that on my fire build. All my comfy builds are impact unfortunately, so element phials won't have that stun effect I go for.

I don't know what you did but I just tried this build and R-Teostra killed me. The only thing I didn't do was sit and let the spirit birds collect.

Trying to play on xbox and would like to be able to do this soooo bad.
Haven't played since TU1, think I'm right about to unlock scorned magna (about MR 97 or 98 ish) and hadn't really touched the afflicted system for Quiros crafting.. What does it take at this point to get back to it and build out a nice comfy immortal set from there?
Basically just do more investigations and grind your anomaly level to unlock higher tier afflicted part upgrades for weapon augmentation as well as better options for armor augmentations
It goes quickly if you do other quests in between. I really hated the inflicted investigations for the longest time but recently unlocked A6 and am having a blast. If it gets too boring, just do something else and come back to it. It gets more fun later on.
Seems ideal to start a hunt in a full unga bunga damage loadout, if you come down to the final faint switch this set on with Fortify & never fail a hunt again 😂
Why have 3 bloodening jewels if you already have 1 blood rite in your armor (8:13)? Seen at 9:15 (first jewel) 9:19 (second) and 9:30 (third)

I mean honestly it’s not that hard to survive being oneshot. Not saying it’s weak but it’s pretty easy to have a couple skills that reduce the damage

To be honest, at this point this sort of build. You probably already play far enough to not needing immortal build. But having one with greatsword would greatly make it a lot cheese to play in the fun way.
I think now Capcom know 90% of ate pretty much done everything with our hard earned skill to get where we are now so they just letting us have fun by giving all these QOL options to play with good job.

Minoto is on the defense, she will try not to get hit as much, but also gives amazing hunting horn buffs. If it's just healing oyu want though, conside swapping her out for galleus, he has wide range on his armor.

@RageGamingVideos correction in the editing there m8. The first set you show has the qurios crafting skills in it when you said it was the template build without the qurious crafting, the second build shown is the template before qurios crafting.

Is furious and haroics really necessary?
Optional, it just makes you even more defensive, especially furious, at +3 all elemental resistances get +20, and if you swap to blue scroll, infinite stamina as well. Heroics is just to not die at low health. But if you don't need those go for offensive skills, as he said in the video.
