    Question: if my yoke is smooth. (No outer nipples) that the caps fit in between centering u-joint in the yoke. Do I place inner lock clips on those two caps as well allowing them to sit inside a edge on yoke to center up.??

    Which end was the rubber you burned out. The rearend or yoke side

      I burned out the rear for the diff

    Do any clips go under/around joint where the straps go?

    • @ccgarage5040
      @ccgarage5040  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I think there might be on the driveshaft but not on the diff. the yolk on the differential has nubs that the caps sit inside

      @@ccgarage5040 thanks. I checked further today; rear end yoke doesn’t get clips, u joint is situated between yoke tabs. No clips needed. Bout to swap 7.5 GM for a QP 9in. Trying to “lay my clothes out the night before”

      I don't remember but when I was looking I typed (3010 to 3050 u joints) there are different sizes depending on what you're using

    Hopefully the distributor doesn't hit the firewall by moving the engine back
