  • Components:
    - Salvaged 1/5hp AC motor from a whole-house exhaust fan
    - 4 pillow block bearings ($9.95 each on eBay)
    - Fan belt ($9 from Farm & Fleet)
    - 3/4" FIP black iron pipe ($6.50 for each 2' piece at Menards)
I had to grind 1/16 of an inch off the circumference of each end of the iron pipes to get them to fit inside the 1" bearings. I went through two bench grinder wheels doing it. Wooden 1" dowels would be a simpler, easier solution.
    Part 1 of 2.

I have never laughed so much over a vid. You should be on the telly. Stereotyping a character? you are the clone of an expectation of hillbilly, com! The comments here are just as funny. Thankyou for this instructive video. The bit where the rocks get stuck and the water level explanation are truly incitive.

Your water theory would be more on the lines of Density and buoyancy. A rocks buoyancy is marginal i would suspect the water helps in lubrication allowing the rocks to slide over one and another and holding the grit in solution.
Nevertheless i love your theories and the MmmmKay cracks me up! Keep it up you have a great personality!
