Oh my Dear Brothers what a joy to find another video ! Really amazing organ tour. What a privilege for you to be received in those places and for us to have the chance to know about them and see them. Each new video it is a renewed joy. Thanks so much for sharing us these fantastic places. All the very best Jonathan and Tom
It's a wonderful organ and I am about to release a new CD from Kevelaer, hopefully before Christmas 2024. Great video lads! I didn't see Marco's home organ but next time maybe.
Sensational, breathtaking ! The treasures in a world we mortals could never imagine, let alone see ! No wonder you travel to places so overwhelming to the senses; it must be so inspirational to your art, both visual and musical, to be enveloped in beauty, history and sound, where man's ingenuity can build physical manifestations of God's creative genius in music and worship! Thank you boys, for opening to us, another glimpse of "the world, as it should all be".
Happy birthday Jonathan and God bless you! I'm happy that you enjoyed your trip to Germany. We have nice organs and organbuildera in southern Germany as well. Come, see and enjoy "Baden-Württemberg".
Beautiful trip with incredible organs! The Basilica is huge and very beautiful with a wonderful organ! Also, I really liked the little organ with a roll! I always imagined that only some old pianos had rollers and that some giant entertainment organs had cardboard plates to play themselves! Thank you for sharing your musical adventures with us! ❤❤
May I wish you a very Happy Birthday Jonathan. These tours are wonderful and we are able to see the most beautiful churches, halls and organs. I really enjoyed this one and look forward to future Vlogs. Thanks so much Jonathan and Tom. You both need a good head for heights. All the organs I have played have been on the lower floors and easy to access fortunately. Get dizzy very quickly. lol. James.
What a wonderful vlog that was!! I was extremely envious of your opportunity to visit & experience so many amazing organs & that Basilica looks so beautiful!! You certainly crammed a lot into your short visit! Have the palpitations stopped yet Tom?! I'm afraid I definitely couldn't have been that brave! Thank you both for this great video, 1 of your best I think. xx
Wonderfull! I enjoyed the concert in Kevelaer immensely. I had a very good place for both listening and viewing. My holiday ended on a high note, so to speak. Thanks!🎉
Marvelous Vlog. I particularly enjoyed the background music. Wagner, Puccini and Beethoven. That was a special group of extraordinary instruments. As owner of a house pipe organ myself, the first house pipe organ was a favorite. Its one manual is a real hauptwerk. Fascinating to see it juxtaposed with the modern Hauptwerk organ.
Thank you for sharing details of such an interesting array of Instruments ! The first time I have learned of an automatic Roll mechanism for an Organ rather than Piano . Interesting too to see aspects of the Seifert Workshop. Thank you both.
Hi~Now we know where you were back in late April. I've watched this video three times now, and have settled on my vote. I'm voting for the Hauptwerk. So versatile! Every time you show us the interior of these magnificent instruments, I feel humbled. Thanks for the tour. xx❤
Thank you so much! I am an occasional viewer of your channel, always touched by the warmth of presentation und the musical skills. This video provides much unique information even for German viewers, for example the backstage view of Jörg Glebe's famous instrument. And over all, there is the joyful but though serious atmosphere of your way to present treasures of organ culture. Great work, keep it going!
The Tour of Seifert was very interesting. We also have a great big Seifert organ in my home village. Unfortunately, it was very out of tune when I last played it. But since I no longer live there, I think it is very rarely played.. I am looking forward to the online concert from Kevelaer! :)
These organs are amazing. I liked the "far organ" best. The sounds were so pure and heavenly. I didn't realize there was a roller organ. Imagine the technical skills needed to design and build that. You two seem to feature some of the best organs in Europe. As a child my grandmother took me to church (small village). I loved hearing the organ (electronic--probably powered with vacuum tubes) and fell in love with organ music. As I got older I developed an affinity for pipe organs. It's mind boggling that no two organs are alike. The creators and builders of these majestic instruments are so brilliant and dedicated to their craft/art. Not only is the music pure, but the consoles are masterpieces of art. And you two act like playful jovial brothers who have fun as you introduce us to great organs of the world. Greetings from the Commonwealth of Virginia, United States, near Washington, DC.
Awesome vlog! The mechanisms and all the pipework that goes into the organ was clearly shown in this one, which was interesting to see. Standing on the chamade seems quite frightful, though. And the planning and workmanship that goes into everything from the pipes at the workshop to the Hauptwerk really intrigues the engineer in me.
Karine.
I'm not sure, but I believe this is the first time I've seen a "Hauptwerk" instrument on your channel. I'd be interested to hear your thoughts at some point. I know there are a number of organists on TH-cam who feature Hauptwerk and have quite a following. I have enjoyed this video quite a lot and I have to say the Basillica organ is massive. I'm sure it was a pleasure to play! Thanks, as always, for a marvelous tour!
Yet another delightful vlog, entertaining, educational, and funny! Some aspects almost impossible to believe- certainly we'd never have a chance to see these amazing places and organs! Thanks so much for making it possible. Well done indeed, lads.
Seems to me you are doing a great job indeed, good luck...organic angels, 😂❤😂 keep on spreading good vibes because they save us from any trouble, remarcable video, taking breath away 😮😮😮
I love watching you guys, and the organs are beautiful! Jonathan is an amazing organst! Your videos are great in how they show off so much of the churches and organs and pipe work. Great stuff to watch! I have Grand Orgue (a wonderful and free competitor of Hauptwerk) and also a Reaper 7 DAW (digital audio workstation) with about 38 pipe organ "libraries". Grand Orgue works like Hauptwerk, but Reaper 7 DAW can also use the MIDI piano roll for automatic playback of compositions and recordings - like one of the house organs you featured here. And, I can also load up symphony orchestras into it. Whereas E.M.Skinner visualized the "orchestral" organ, I got the whole dang orchestra! PROGRESS! I don't need a four manual console with my Reaper 7 DAW -- as it is -- all by itself a console (It has many "tracks: and each "track" can be a manual and play an individual organ stop or an entire library of stops (like a combination action) Anyway, I thought I was crazy collecting all my pipe organs -- until I saw THIS video! I feel ever so much better now! Thanks so much and HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
That was fabulous guys! So interesting and you were made very welcome. I’d love it if you would upload Jonathan’s new arrangement of De Meistersinger on the Great Siefert organ at Kevelaer
What a lovely tour, I think I liked Jorge's ( the organ voicer at the basilica )house organ the best. Can you imagine a summer concert from there for the neighbourhood? Looking forward to the concert from Kevelear and the RAH in August.
You have to give it to the Germans. When it comes to mechanical things, they are brilliant. The big organ was amazing. Dare I say it sounds and looks a bit French. And the Hauptwerk organ is slightly larger and prettier than mine. Thanks for a great tour. Mike in Oz
Many years ago a very kind organist allowed me to explore inside a large, gorgeous, von Beckerath instrument while he was playing Bach, I'll never forget that experience as long as I live (and hopefully, longer).
Wonderful treat tonight before sleeping . Finland Saffron Warden and more .🎉 and more thank you chaps . Not long now til Hereford Cathedrals turn Woopdewoo . PS read on my moby a church in Cornwall wants a new home for their organ ?
I wanted to go to this concert but it didnt work out with the date unfortunately, however after seeing this video I regret not going, better luck next time I suppose but this organ looks and sounds grand.
Awesome recording, the beast of Kevelaer shook my house! :D Did you use a special/aux mic setup or was it "just the camera mic" picking up all of those low freqs? P.S. I recently purchased the Landau Steinmeyer set from Piotr -- guess this one will be starring in one of your next videos, right? :)
*HI...FROM* 🇲🇽🌎🇲🇽 *Greetings and happy..happy birthday...THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR SHARING YOUR JOURNEY AND WONDERFUL INSTRUMENTS WITH US...HOPEFULLY YOU CAN COME TO VISIT US IN MEXICO, AT THE NATIONAL AUDITORIUM...THERE IS A GOOD ITALIAN "TAMBURINI" ORGAN...KEEP'N TOUCH DEAR BROTHERS...SEE YOU SOON!!!*👁👁🖖🏽👽👍🥖🛸🛸🥖🗻🛸🥖🥖🛸👁👁🇲🇽🌎🇲🇽👀🌞👂👁🧠👁👂
Fascinating as always but I was disappointed not to hear Tom always expects the “wurst” in Germany. Too many complains from our German viewers I guess.
That was fun! Next time please a little less camera movement, or a pause at the start to allow for motion sickness meds…. Looking forward to the concert videos!
I loved the concert! The organ is amazing and the organist even more!!
Oh my Dear Brothers what a joy to find another video !

And what a concert this was! And a pleasure to meet you in person after the concert!
Living near Munich -- too bad that I missed it.
Greetings from one of your customers. :)
Happy Birthday, Jonathan 💐
The big Hauptwerk organ was just the best ever
Lads, that was the BEST! Happy birthday, Jonathan!
Happy Birthday Johnathan what a wonderful trip to Germany you both had . Thank you both .

Das Priesterhaus. Thank you for your great work!
I was blown away by the Kevelaer organ. I can't wait for you two to tour the US.
its hard to believe that these instruments are so old yet so complex , the engineering is amazing , its like the original synthesizer
In the pre-Industrial age, the pipe organ was by far the most complex machine on Earth.
Sensational, breathtaking ! The treasures in a world we mortals could never imagine, let alone see ! What a beauty! Thank you all.
I’m jealous 😂. What a wonderful tour. I always wanted a house with an organ but never dreamed of one so grand as these. Thank you Tom and Jonathan.
The Hauptwerk setup is really impressive !
Buon compleanno John! Tantissimi auguri!
Y'all's vlogs are the best! Keep them coming please!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY Jonathan. Hope it was a great day and tour. Amazing as always. Loved it.

The reverb in the basilica was astounding. Love your videos. Always entertaining. Thank you.

Another fantastic vlog. 🎉 So interesting to see the mechanics of that huge instrument. Can’t wait to hear’Die Meistersinger’ overture in full!
Sehr interessantes Video aus der Marienkirche
Die Orgel ist auch hervorragend
Vielen Dank für dieses Video 😀😀👍👍

Thank you for a fabulous tour. Great sound. Learned a lot about organs.
Each new adventure more amazing than the last! Such magnificent organs!
Thank you. Very enjoyable and entertaining.
Great tour. Love the old pipe organs.
Love what you do. Enthusiasm, dedication to such high standards musically, visually and vlogally (?). Please don’t stop.

O som deste órgão da catedral é maravilhoso.
Perfection always!!!
That was fabulous guys! So interesting and you were made very welcome. I’d love it if you would upload Jonathan’s new arrangement of De Meistersinger on the Great Siefert organ at Kevelaer
Very, very good vid guys!!! Beautifully filmed. Good sound quality as well.
What a lovely tour, I think I liked Jorge's ( the organ voicer at the basilica )house organ the best. Can you imagine a summer concert from there for the neighbourhood? Looking forward to the concert from Kevelear and the RAH in August.
The organ voicer's name is Marco, Jörg is the owner of the large Hauptwerk setup (in Bochum btw.)
@Pipeloops OOPS!! Of course it's Marco. I hope I haven't offended anyone.
A little late to this one due to traveling and then getting sick. But this was so cool! I love these organs!
The online concert is being streamed on TH-cam tonight at 8pm UK time
You have to give it to the Germans. When it comes to mechanical things, they are brilliant. The big organ was amazing. Dare I say it sounds and looks a bit French. And the Hauptwerk organ is slightly larger and prettier than mine. Thanks for a great tour. Mike in Oz
love the roll organ
Laaa! A local rabbit too!
Many years ago a very kind organist allowed me to explore inside a large, gorgeous, von Beckerath instrument while he was playing Bach, I'll never forget that experience as long as I live (and hopefully, longer).
Wunderbar!!!!!!
17:40 A roll-playing organ and the electronic sample system was a role-playing organ.
Liked the roller organ
Wonderful treat tonight before sleeping . Finland Saffron Warden and more .🎉 and more thank you chaps . Not long now til Hereford Cathedrals turn Woopdewoo .

Where can we listen to the full recording of "Nessun dorma" brilliantly performed by Jonathan (6:55)?
Simply fantastic!
Uploaded on this channel

Olivier Latry ( Notre Dame Cathedral's organist (Paris) ) was there for a concert a few days before Jonathan !
That St Marys Basilica looks alot like the one in Kraków

Nessum dorma is a singer type piece which arranged for piano and organ
i myself have heard how loud this organ gets and this video does NOT do it justice haha, full organ is deafening.
Atoll piano is a pianola, does that mean that was an organ Ila? 😇
Please come to america
Isn't Passau the largest pipe organ in Germany?
It’s 4 organs that can be played as a whole - the organs differ in age and style. This is the largest single organ in a Romantic style.
Les 2 frères sont impayables...mais de grâce pas trop de zooms!! C’est fatigant!
Fascinating as always but I was disappointed not to hear Tom always expects the “wurst” in Germany. Too many complains from our German viewers I guess.

concentrate on the music and cut the comic travelogue!
You clearly don’t understand the point of these vlogs do you?
