I cant wait to get my hands on the Kemper Player. It is a form factor that i really vibe with and will use extensively.
If i know Kemper (and i think i do) i wouldn't be surprised if there is software and hardware built into this unit that is yet to be unlocked.
In all honesty, I think this unit is first of all aimed at people who are all ready use Kemper, but the form factor is going to apeal to the HX stomp users.
The massive effect capability of Kemper is definitely something that rivals Line 6.
