The only people who seem to think that dlc that’s locked behind nearly a full game should be game of the year are the people on the jury voting with just a few exceptions. Going but most comment sections.
I’m confused why Jason says the ps5 is tracking well behind PS4. Every time they update the console sales vs months on market for PS4 and ps5 the lines are basically on top of each other. The difference is minuscule right now
@@b.u.l.1734so the entire premise of the game is void because they just bring them all back, right? Thats a dumb idea lol, have some stakes, believe in your project.

Yet another example of trying to chase trends and failing as a result. The post launch support for this game was clearly meant to go on longer. And now it's 11 months after launch and the game is on sale for $5
They know in advance, but, given development timelines, they don’t know far enough in advance to stop content creation. By then, it’s a sunk cost and you might as well make the little you can off of it rather than nothing.
It’s easy to see a game is going to fail when they show it off, but when a game is in the concept phase it sounds much better than it actually is. It’s the same thing when people always talk about cut content, it sounds super cool but 9 times out of 10 it wasn’t
I don’t get why Jason Schrier hated Xbox so much. How long should games be supported anyway? Maybe this is a game where content wasn’t needed in the first place. I didn’t play it though, so I would love to hear thoughts on someone that played the game and liked it.
The game desperately needed content. The base game has very little and repetiveness sets in quickly. Then these updates come out and all they do is add 3 more missions but they are the same exact missions that are in the base game, just on a reskinned map. Sure they add some new weapons but there is no reason to grind and use the weapons as there is nothing in the game to strive for. Only 5 enemy types and 3 boss battles recycled multiple times over.
