I always root for the underdog. So by the third game I was rooting for MbL
I want to give big props to Dracken for something which seems obvious but a lot of high-level players still struggle with: Constant unit queue. Just having constant reinforcements behind your push can, and does, give you a big advantage when trying to pressure.
That was a crazy exciting set! I was constantly expected him to come back and he just never did. I just want to watch that set over again.
Yeah Dracken, Get some! Him and running are so much fun to watch in Plat.
Like seeing the drafts more, both the tab outs and the pop up are good. Even if T90 isnt talking about it at, maps with slower start just having it pop in is informative. Another nice thing with pops ups is having a time bar at the bottom sometimes I'm still taking in the standings or draft when it disappears. Having the time bar lets me know if I need to pause the video which is easier than it going away and having to rewind.

fun fact: with pavise condos get tbe same pierce armor as champions and 1 more meele armor
so essentially they're a tankier, faster unit than the champion that takes thousands of resources less to max out and counter one of the champion's counters in gunpowder
the only real issue is that they cost 15 more gold(and 5 more food than supplies champions), but I feel like as far as generic champions go they're extremely cheaper because of no upgrades

I've been loving Shoals. I want a map in the ladder with a Sea Tower. Having safe fish sounds like a interesting change.
I've become a big dracken fan ever since ttl started taking off
T90's casting is out of this world lately--almost, otherworldly
All of the maps so far have been excellent. The one map I haven't yet been impressed by is Ghost Lake.
They were some interesting games like Tatoh vs Barles and Jordan vs Ganji
My favourite is absolutely forest clearing. Closed, but not overly so.
the extended Imp in game 1 was just so satisfying to watch. Like a movie.
T90. what do you think of an arena style map but the forest on one side is replaced with ocean instead and the fort has sea walls surrounding some area? Suddenly potential transport ship raids and fights on land at risk of naval bombardment if too close to shore
Maaan. I was so happy that game one is so good and it turns out game two is even better. Was thinking to myself what a wonderful tournament TTL is, providing us viewers with so many great games and sets, the previous one was a master class and now there's a really cool duel between two players who are both improvising a lot after being put in difficult situations.

Gurjaras 22+2 does work on arena if you eat 6-7 sheep during feudal, with no farms before heavy plow. This enables a crazy relic race due to camel scout, you can pick up 2-3 relics before the opponent has a monk out to convert your camel. Opponent needs 3 scouts in feudal to kill camel, so it's really hard to counter.
1. market/tc, click up to castle
2. Double bit axe
3. Horsecallor
4. castle comes in
5. drop monestary + 1st extra TC
6. heavy plow
7. only once heavy plow is in, start making farms
8. Either 2nd extra TC or Bow Saw, proceed
If MBL had done this build order the game coulda looked a lot better for him. However, I think Britons may be the hardest matchup for Gurjaras. Archers shred Chakrams, Halbs shred Shrivamshas and seige elephant. I think Gurjaras boom is superior but a well-planned Briton will still win come mid-to-late game.

Dracken is so calm and collected every step of the way. He'll keep turning heads, I'm sure. Looking forward to more of his games. MbL is always fun, but he just seemed a bit off his game this time, not sure why though. I think he performs better when he's NOT expected to win, honestly.

What would you think about having playoffs for 4 platinum league spots between 5th place of plats and 2-3rd place of golds?
It would slow down the huge migration every year and keep play high quality.
Tldr; plat 6th > drop, gold 1st > promo, plat 5 vs gold 2-3 playoff.
This is a solid idea, I've always thought 1/3rd demoted/promoted was a bit much and this keeps everyone having to stay sharp or risk being in trouble but a bad round doesn't put you down as guaranteed.

I do not like Shoals. MBL actually made it quite fun with his unique approach in this particular instance, but it's usually a simple boom to trebs first, gg upon losing treb war. I think if there was maybe an additional gold pile in the middle of the water, it would be more interesting, because the water would actually matter.
Please set player color by the result of the last round of Titan league. Like this if we see Orange win round against Blue we understand that was a great acheivment
