The hair and clothes cannot be more 70's LOL I love it.
These episodes are worth watching just to see the rapid evolution in fashion from the early 60’s until the early 70’s .

Maurice's first impulse was to change Darrin into a leaping lizard? He blew him up! 😀 This is a fun episode. I love it when Darrin tells Maurice that he can't go to the office, because he's too busy. Maurice takes offense and comes back and places the sword point at Darrin's throat. Even without his powers, Maurice made his point. Pardon the pun.
Some people have said that Elizabeth was just goung through the motions in the eighth season. Well, no douht that she felt it was time to move on, but I don't think she let that got in the way of her work. This episode disproves that, in my view. I think redoing some episodes in this season is more of a reason that, as Bill Asher said, it had run its course. Of course, there were other reasons, some personal, but Asher also said there were no problems on the set. Sandra Gould said once that this cast was like a family and they were surprised when the show ended.
But we got a classic TV series that had an excellent cast and continues to endure.
Great point. All things were done in their time. I was so saddened that only two years after the show finished, Agnes Moorehead passed away.
@@corneliuswhite5139 I know. If the show had gone on, BEWITCHED would've lost another cast member in Agnus Moorehead. You may have read or seen videos that claim the show had a curse on it. I don't buy into it. Some of the cast were up in age. For example, George Tobias died in 1980. That would've put him in his sixties when the show started.
I can't say it enough. What a great cast, main and guest.
Sandra Gould didn't even appear during the last season. Perhaps she and George Tobias were on call(?) to maybe appear but it just didn't happen I don't know.
I wish Maurice appeared in more episodes. 👌🏻

Sam: "Darrin, watch it, before you find yourself in orbit around the planet of your choice.", as she motions toward her mother. Maybe Maurice doesn't have his powers, but Endora does, and neither were that fond of Darrin or mortals. But Endora did feel for Mario and his restaurant. Love it.

Every time I see this episode, the more I like it. This one is Maurice centered. I love it when he goes into his Shakespearean soliloquy. Darrin decides it's time to wash up. Not in Maurice's opinion it isn't. 🙂

It sometimes irritates me , the constant nagging of darrin about not using witchcraft.After having a wife, 2 children's and a whole family of in-laws who r either witches or warlocks.
Everything has imperfections. By all means build a time machine and fix it.

Part of the problem is the second Darrin always seemed mean, but never loving.

I love that sound effect when Andora changed Samantha back. Maurice Evans also played Dr. Zaius in the movie Planet of the Apes.
I knew I recognized that voice. Wait a minute, two degrees of separation:
One of the Darins, Samantha, Endora, Mr. Tate, and one of the nosy neighbors were in episodes of the twilight zone. That show was written by Rod Serling and he did work on the Planet of the Apes story/re-write.
This Darrin was always so angry.

Here Elizabeth looks tired eyed, more skiny chicks perhups. Hair comb is very 70s young women, long, flat, far for those helmet sryle of 60s. Bewitched for me is the most entertining tv serie of all times.

Not mom. That has been debunked as a story someone made up, which was published, and disputed by people who knew her. But the others, yes. Not uncommon in the world of acting.
