Hey guys-sorry about the audio cutting out at times. We had to cut some audio clips to stay compliant with TH-cam's policies. We thought it was a cool transformation so we didn't want to scrap the video for you guys to see. Thanks for understanding!
Wondering what was happening with the volume? Absolutely all over the place 😕. Also missed the Barber’s chat during the beard undercut. Did someone speak some profanities as you call it in the good ol’ US of A?
I wonder as a barber, which customer is the easiest to work on/with. The one that has a very set image of what they want, or the one that just sits down and offers guidelines, but mostly just lets the barber cut however they think best.
@@jarlhenrik friend of a barber - the easiest ones are both the ones that tell you exactly what to do and the ones that just give a length and basic style and let the barber have at it. The hardest ones are when they are either not good at communicating or indecisive.
Recently had my hair cut by my local barber here in Kinross, Scotland 🏴. Had grown it out from October 2020 due to COVID-19 restrictions. Gave my barber a completely free hand. Told him to give me a modern style best suited to the shape of my head and face. Ended up with the same cut that I normally have lol 😊, albeit with a shorter beard.
@Markarth City Guard Brother, in France 5 barber shop out of 7 barber shop when asking for a light trim of the beard (2years beard) and an haircut. You end up with the total opposite of what you asked for. The first thing I asked was, please do not touch my neckline, just trim slightly the bottom of my long beard hair (transparency) . Trimming the transparency of the bottom slightly is the most important thing to grow faster, much more volume, length and less transparency. But when a barber shave a neckline of a long bearded man the transparency of the bottom is more visible. Cause our beard hair on the chin and jaw grow faster than neckline. Whatever if you show a picture to a French barber 5 barbershop out of 7 barbershop or being precise with indications. Haha The last time, I asked the French barber to slightly trim my sideburns and just very slightly trim the bottom of my long beard hair chin, less than a inch. And for the hair I asked him 6mm on the side and on top 15mm and bro... he killed everything with a clipper, and end up with a tinny beard and with a military cut. I looked like an ant.

I got mad when he started taking thinning shears to the beard and it still looked dense enough to prevent light from escaping, meanwhile I have a ceremony everytime a hair is lost in my brush. #beardenvy
The neckline is the body/foundation of your beard, you need it, it avoid transparency of the bottom, And makes your beard looks fuller. Normally beard hair from chin and jaw grow faster than the neckline area. This is why you just need to trim slightly the beard transparency of the bottom of your chin every 3 months. Without trimming nor cutting the neckline. Let it grow. This transparency methods brings back volume, length, grow faster than ever.
This jas got to be the most awesome barbershop around. Cool barbers who are experts at their craft! I have been a barber for over 40 years and dont even have close to the expertise they have. You guys rock! So glad batbers like these have taken our profession to a whole new level!!
When you don’t make straight guidelines you get a patchy fade like you’re getting here. It is masked well because it’s so short but above the design there’s a dark spot and that’s because he didn’t make straight guidelines
Looks great and the beard is outstanding. The only problem with these fade haircuts is that so much effort goes into making it look good but then the effect is lost after a few days of hair regrowth.

The beard is immaculate and his cheek lines were CLEANNN. I’d have to say though that I’ve never seen a technique for setting in a bald guideline like that. I can see why you’d want to do that in order to prevent making a harsh line, but good fading technique will always take that line out.
Surgical line, that’s just in case if there is any imperfection some where else, that surgical line would take your eyes of the imperfections area and get you to focus on the surgical line, its a mystery not solved by your average joe... Nice tactic from the barber! I New he was up to something from the beginning.
Beautiful, outstanding beard! Great decision to buzz the head. Really makes the beard pop and stand out! Absolutely the best transformation video I’ve seen.
Excellent fade and beard trim. I need to come up and sit in that Barbers chair so it looks like you are seeing double as he looks like my twin! Loved the explanation of the different clippers used.
Step1: don't cut/trim the neckline. Neckline is the reason why you have transparency from the bottom of your long beard hair chin. Step2: Trim those transparencies of the bottom of the chin every 3 months until you don't have them. Step3: Let it grow.
I like that you didn't line up the hairline, im not sure if im saying it correctly because im not a native English speaker but i mean when barbers make a line where your hairline is with the clippers and then with a razor ... My barber always do that to me because he thinks it's look better , but for me it doesn't look good and the haircut ends up looking too sharp and perfect. Most fade buzzcut videos here on TH-cam the barber always do that line in the hairline

I agree. My dad was a barber that worked back during Pearl Harbor WW2 and I've seen all of his tools of the trade and he never had as many electronics this guy has. My dad had 5 different scissors 4 straight razors and 2 electric clippers with cords a leather barber belt and a few brushes. He use to work it and did fades and beards just as good or even better. This guy had it too easy and wouldn't stand a chance if he was to compete in a strict event. You gotta be able to do it old school. To me he was shearing this guy like a sheep.

Yeah, at the end you can still see the crooked lines from the beginning.
His fading style gives me anxiety
I'm not s barber..bit he Def needs to straighten his lines
also you just end up with a very weak blend, almost not even visual by design, the hard lines are needed to show that blend effect.
Seems like The Big Show has found a new profession.
