Hi! PTA here. I’m not sure about this specific brand, but with normal KT-tape, it is waterproof. No need to protect it in the shower unless you want to. You don’t want to remove the tape until it starts peeling off by itself (usually lasts 2-7 days). If little pieces start peeling but the rest is secured on, you can snip off those little pieces so they don’t grab onto your socks. Hope this helps!
Mine actually did for about a year! West the proper insoles and shoes, massage your foot with an iced bottle of water, stretch your calves and you’ll be ok.
