Usually, I would cringe at any Roblox RP group (because they usually are) loke you know military RP stuff but as a Catholic I genuinely like this. It's not attempting replace a real physical Mass, it's to teach people about the TLM. I love this because some people never have the privilege of physically attending TLM physically.
Update on the Series: Just finished recording Gloria-Credo yesterday. Already got edits and actual video finished, just need to do voiceover and other small things! Thank you all for watching and supporting the Ro-FSSP.

3:31 what part of TLM is that person in the balcony? He seems prepared for mass. (trying to make micro mad again) (sarcasm) Post Scriptum. get a better quality. I expect 4k from American ro-fssp.
Is there a plan to make a similar video for High Mass? If I am not mistaken, High Mass (or other variations, such as the Pontifical High Mass) is the only type that a deacon serves at. I am curious to learn more about the traditional mass, to compare it to the Byzantine Rite that is normative in the Orthodox Church. There, the deacon will serve at any liturgy that he is present at (St. John Chrysostom, St. Basil, St. James, or the Liturgy of the Presanctified Gifts). It makes no difference whether it is a regular day that is not a feast, or one of the Great Feasts. The deacon's actions may differ if there are multiple deacons serving (the senior deacon does certain parts of the deacon's tasks, with the junior deacon(s) doing other tasks), or if a bishop is serving (senior deacon will read the entrance prayers for the bishops, deacons will assist at the vesting of the bishop, and the deacons' dialogues will take place with the bishop, not the priest, as is usual). I am curious about the role and responsibilities of a deacon in the traditional Latin Rite. It is ironic that Vatican II revived the diaconate, yet allowed the Mass to be butchered.
Hello! Yes, we do intend to continue this as a series starting with Low Mass the progressing to Sung Mass and Solemn functions including Pontifical Solemn Mass. We will explain the roles of the deacon and subdeacon in ordinary and Pontifical Solemn Masses.
The role of the deacon at a solemn Mass (high Mass is used by some English rubricans, but most people who use the term do so mistakenly to refer to a sung Mass, i.e., without deacon or subdeacon, but with propers and ordinary sung) is roughly as follows (from memory - it's been a while since I've seen or MC'd one...): The subdeacon sings the epistle, the deacon receives the priest's blessing and sings the gospel, the subdeacon holding the book from which the deacon sings The deacon sets the corporal and chalice on the altar before the offertory; the deacon and subdeacon pour the wine and water into the chalice at the offertory; the subdeacon holds the paten after the priest's host has been removed to the corporal The deacon sings the confiteor if communion is to be distributed to the faithful, and the deacon and subdeacon accompany the priest at the distribution (the deacon holds the paten) The deacon and subdeacon assist with the ablutions after; the subdeacon reassembles the chalice (purificator, paten, pall, veil, corporal, and burse) after communion and returns it to the credence The deacon sings the Ite, missa est The deacon performs a number of the incensations, transfers of the missal, and other such functions; the deacon and subdeacon make responses throughout It's been a few years since I've served for a solemn, but I think those are all of the major functions of the deacon and subdeacon...
@@michaelrex6948Wow. It seems that there are quite a few similarities between the actions of the Catholic deacon and his Orthodox counterpart. Orthodox deacons also read the Gospel, transfer the diskos from the Table of Oblation to the Altar, assist in communion, and clean up after the Liturgy (they eat the remaining Eucharistic elements from the chalice, also known as consuming the Gifts and wash the chalice, diskos, and spoon before putting them away). One thing I noticed that is unusual from an Eastern point of view is that the priest and acolyte talk to each other. In the Liturgy, the priest and deacon talk to each other more often than the priest and other participants. In a Solemn Mass, do the priest and server talk to each other, or does the deacon take over more of the acolyte's lines?
What?? “Vatican II revived the diaconate”???? It was never dead! If anything, Paul VI’s new Mass made the Deacon more rare* at cerimonies since, in the Traditional Rite, Priests could not concelebrate (seeing how there is only one Christ), save for at their ordination Mass, around the Bishop, and instead would exercise their diaconate by serving as deacons at another Priest’s Mass.
don't worry sir. People use this as a teaching tool and simulation of the irl EF Mass. The people who do these things do not believe in any real presence or validity of sacraments on Roblox and only do this for the sake of teaching others and evangelizing. (obviously.)

3:09. I like the big jump the celebrant does when he has ascended the altar! My priest doesn’t do that. Lol
I stubbed my toe on the altar when I was ascending
Made a mistake because I was waiting for the priest to do that big jump as a cue
