Good man for getting back out there! I went to Cwmcarn earlier in the year with a couple of mates. I was riding ahead and the two following lost sight of me. When they got to the bit in your video at 8:08 (th-cam.com/video/j82N0VOmD-o/w-d-xo.htmlsi=stTHyn1V2bZ8_O5j&t=488) They went right, but I had gone on straight ahead. Was a nightmare trying to find each other as we'd never been there before and there was no phone reception. I need to go back, don't feel like I really did it.
That bit at 8:08 is so badly sign posted, the amount of people I've seen going right, back around the loop and having no idea where they are. I think they should have given it a new trail name as it takes you for around two miles or so back to the climb up to Airstream where Average Dad started the Twrch trail. You could be going around all day! There are some really go Off Piste trails all over Cwmcarn.
Into the thick of it into the thick of it..😂 met the cow family the other day but they didn't move for me 😮 stick with it mate just make sure safety 1st. Hope Karl on the mend 🤞
well done for getting back on the horse, is everything ok with your bike? i'm not sure if it's just the camera sound sensitivity but bike sounds really rattly, i may be riding cwmcarn tomorrow, if i can be bothered to drive there.
The bike is really rattley I think it is my casette iv had it tightened now but the nose is driv9ng me crazy hopefully iv sorted it now fingers crossed 🤞

I’m from Cwmbran and ride a lot of places you go to or have been too..I had a bad crash at windhill bike park knocks the confidence 👍

Don't normally ride these trails like you say boring , but the Risca trails are spot on some of the best off piste out there 👌
