In the "old days" it was relatively easy to drive in Ontario without a valid or suspended license. But that has changed. In Ontario, the Police use Automated License Plate Recognition (ALPR) equipment to automatically scan and detect license plates. The ALPR system is capable of scanning thousands of license plates per hour, making it more difficult for to drive undetected. Wishing you all the best.
Got a lawyer got my license back after paying over 3000 plus the reinstatement fee but I didn't understand I had I had to contact the courts myself after and set up a payment plan .. so it got suspended again 😕.. should I go to the courts myself now or get a lawyer seeing that thus time around it will be harder ?
Were you actually charged again under section 53(1) or did your license just get suspended by Service Ontario? If option 2 - then just figure it out with Service Ontario. If option 1 - you should book a call with us.

That is not a legal issue. That is a payment plan issue that you would need to work out directly with each township that holds your fines.

Assuming your fines are in Ontario, contact the Ministry of Transportation of Ontario for help. All the best to you.
