@dickdaley9059 you probably could, but since my washer is on the floor, you can't really get a bowl under it to catch it. Maybe if the washer was up on a stand, you could fit a cup or bowl under the hose. You'll be taking the filter out anyway to clean it off, so I just catch the water with a towel instead. I find it easier for me.
@@nicoletei are you turning it to the left. It only makes click noises if you turn it to the right. You can also get a bowl and take the little plug out of the hose and drain the water in the bowl too

Hard to unscrew our filter and take it out. Same filter as the video shown. It just keeps making a snapping noise
