    I really appreciate how you don't push any particular style, but reveal the common core of all Martial Arts. Great way to bridge that gap and promote unification! I know I'm not alone in saying you have the mind and spirit of a true master, and you are respected highly. Thank you for all you do!🙏

    this is a very good tips video. thanks Ando. I actually used to do the shadow kicking excersices, they do help. I used to sleep with one knee to my chest facing down. like the fetal position. not because I wanted to stretch, but because I would feel relax, and I would fall asleep faster. maybe that's why I would never have any trouble kicking or doing the full split when I was in my 20s. now it's a different story. I'm going to try to sleep with my knee to my chest again. thanks for making me remwmber. and for the good tips

      thank u so much for inspiring.what i have learned from ur videos and other videos also,that martial arts is an important part of human evolution.it is a philosophy within itself.when one practices it with focus,be it any form,it reduces the violence which is within the heart and mind of a person.the person's soul becomes free from prejudices.

    How many Mountain Crawls would you recommend? Btw Thanks boss for the workout tips i'm in the process of trying to repair my body and you always got something helpful or at the very least entertaining to say.

    • @AndoMierzwa
      @AndoMierzwa  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      I prefer going for time than trying to count. The body feels different on different days, so just do your best. How many sets is up to you. Sometimes one set is enough because you're doing other things. Sometimes I just keep going and pump out a few sets. There's no right answer!

    quick question, Would you consider 18 to be too late to get serious about mma? (like competing and tournaments and reaching a high tier in the game)

    • @AndoMierzwa
      @AndoMierzwa  8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you for watching! I'm not an expert on MMA, but I'd say you still have a shot. And even if you don't make it all the way, you'll still get into shape and have skills for the rest of your life. You win either way!

    I would request to upload some videos of techniques as to how to defend oneself against round kicks without using round kicks.although I loved to watch martial art movies,realisation came at a late age after suffering some racist physical attacks and depression.although after practising from videos I somehow managed to do straight and side kicks ,but could only execute the kicks with power till waist level,not high,although I m trying to increase flexibility by ur videos,it has helped.but I think I won't be able to do proper round kicks as I have started late.

    • @AndoMierzwa
      @AndoMierzwa  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Very sorry to hear about the attacks. Happy to hear you're training! You don't need to kick high to defend yourself... forget the movies. Just focus on playing your strengths.

    I hear "the touch your shoulder" for a second time. So ... one time accident, two times - coincidence, three times ... well you know. Good advices And don't forget to keep your mouth shut. Earlier today I remembered you when I heard my teeth chatter. Now I know exactly what happened 10 years ago when I lost part of my tooth. I wish there was youtube back then.

    • @AndoMierzwa

      +Ando Mierzwa well it's just one and it's less than a quarter missing. And 9 years ago I stopped enjoying being single despite the broken tooth. So I decided not to fix it because it'll become even more fragile. But I still scare children. Anyway, very useful videos.

    Why don't kickboxers/mt fighters chamber their kicks?
    I get it for the low sweep kicks, but not for the high/head kicks etc...

    • @AndoMierzwa
      @AndoMierzwa  5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I will let a kickboxer answer that. It might be that bringing up a straighter leg carries a bit more weight, as opposed to whip. Both are great!

    How to recover bones quickly?

    • @Z3nSh1nz0
      @Z3nSh1nz0 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Don't put weight or pressure on it and drink your milk. Bones can only recover so fast. Average speed of bone recovery is around 4-6 weeks

    • @R1nji
      @R1nji 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Go to the doctor and listen to him when he says that you shouldn't put any weight on it or do any explosive movements. It's ok to rest for a couple of months when your health is on the line. What's better, waiting 3 months or even a year, or never being able to train again?
      Also, don't "test" whether or not you can put any weight on your damaged limb during those 3 months or however much. There's nothing to be gained other than the satisfaction of your curiosity.
