    I trained in Germany with those Russian boxing trainers and I can tell you they doing it different the way you pointing your feet to pointing your hand wrist to use your hips literally everything is so different from what we know. You can't do a simple TH-cam video and tell that's how it works all this small Details we could never spot but those former Soviet trainers know.

      I agree with your sentiment but can you imagine how long it would take to shove every little technical aspect of a entirely different style of boxing into a watchable video? Anyone who's learning the style would hopefully not stop their studying or training with this video alone. The fundamentals will come with coaching and practice. I appreciate these short videos that give you a basic understanding of what it is so you can decide to dive deeper or not.

      Edit:
      It was interesting. Soviet boxers were some kind of purists. They really moved like anime characters

    incorrect position of the legs, 1 place your feet in front, shoulder width apart. 2 Take one leg back so that its toe is level with the heel of the front leg. 3 Turn around about 45 degrees, no more.

    • @barrylarryharry7183
      @barrylarryharry7183 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +8

      When bouncing forward and backwards, your front foot should move a little further then your back foot.
      Let's say your back foot is going 2 inches back and forth, your front should be 3 inches.

      @@G_STYLIN And it's well-known that the Cubans learned a lot of their boxing from the Russians /Eastern Block /Warsaw Pact countries during the Cold War era.
      The Cubans eventually became masters and in turn passed on some of the skills to countries that were idealogically linked to them.

    I know your trying ur best to teach Soviet style. Don't wanna be bad, but the style is kinda far from the basics. Much more detail is needed. Especially in pendulum step you newd rigid uncles, they can't drop to the ground. You need to tense them. That is just a detail.

    • @jtames9040
      @jtames9040 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      I agree and also i believe this style was mastered as the soviet countries produced boxers who are ORTHODOX Christians as opposed to us boxers who are heretics. The grace shows. Thus we need to have The truth in life which is in the Orthodox christianity religion only btw. The orthodox version of Christianity is the original and true form of christianity that Jesus taught us when he came to earth, and you can feel God’s grace through the holy sacraments in this church after baptism , repentance-confession and holy communion in the orthodox christian church through the grace of the apostles that was transferred from generation to generation to what we have today as the orthodox christian priests, something that completely changes your life and turns you into a happier person with a meaningful life and also saves you by strengthening your bond with God. You can also watch the miracle of the holy fire that does not burn that happens every year, I suggest you get baptised at an orthodox christian church near you, receive the holy spirit and live a spiritual life through the church’s sacraments like confession to the priest and holy communion and God will protect you, in this life, and the next, the eternal one, 😊may God Bless you!

      Tbh overtime that will go away, make sure your recovering correctly but that pain is those leg and feet muscles getting stronger. Jump roping is a good way to develop a comfortable bounce. Keep in mind not to diss this guy but some of the body mechanics are wrong, Check out the Russian School of Boxing they'll put you on with everything Soviet Boxing related

      There is no "technical aspects" to "mexican style":
      Its basically mid-short dist. focused, always offense oriented and a special liking for hooks to the liver.
      Its more an "attitude" than a style: All balls, look for and dont shy away from exchanges
