I WAS BORN IN SOUTH AFRICA, BUT LIVING NOW IN DANMARK AND LOVE GARDENING LIKE YOU LOVELY PEOPLE. IN MY RETERIMENT NOE, I ENJOY SO MUCH WORKING AT MY GARDEN, I NEVER GET TIRET OF THE WORK. I LOVE WARCHING YOUR GARDEN WORK YOU ARE BLESSED, WHAT A BEAUTY 🙏🙏🙏🙏🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦🇩🇰🇩🇰🇩🇰❤️❤️❤️
Gardening is so rewarding and once you get absorbed in garden work it’s so easy to lose track of time! We would love to visit Denmark one day. Happy gardening!😍
Wow, love those flowers are beautiful, we had some purple ones as well. I love you share the nature walks as well. We really appreciate it. It’s so beautiful there and you seem to be enjoying retirement life so much. Have a wonderful day.
We are continually amazed at the variety of beautiful flowers and unique flora here… and still learning! BC’s trails and natural environments provide a stunning place for walks and hikes. Thanks so much for watching 😎
The golden chain laburnum at the end of Doehle Ave., near the stairs to the water, is beautiful in spring. Do thoroughly wash your humming bird feeders often in this climate, so the birds stay healthy. I planted Hot lips Salvia (needs lots of water and fertilizer in summer and sheltered winter area) to keep my humming birds happy.
That golden chain is quite stunning and all the spring flowers last much longer here than Ontario where it heats up a bit too fast for the spring flowers to last. We have been and will continue to clean the hummingbird feeders often especially with so much activity. Enjoy your garden and birds! Thanks for watching😎
Looks like you spent a lot of time planning and implementing your garden. Looks great. Love the mix of lawn, stones and beds - and the pond ! Curious to see how the apple trees do. FYI we just put our humming bird feeders out in MA.
Garden planning and work does take time but we enjoy it. Not only do we learn a lot but it’s rewarding! Last season, we got Honey-crisp apples and they were delicious! We just love watching the hummingbirds as I’m sure you do too. Thanks for watching 😎
Nice job capturing all the garden bushes, trees, flowers...We were there in February and loved our time in Qualicum. We're also planning to sell our home and move somewhere around there.😊
It’s wonderful to experience the wide variety of plants in this part of the world. The climate is more gentle for plants and also us retirees looking to enjoy the outdoors. The proximity to the ocean and mountains is outstanding. All the best with the sale of your home and move to the island! Thanks for watching😎
No, ferries can be pre-booked ahead of time. It’s not usually necessary to pre-book if you simply walk on as a foot passenger, more for vehicles. For holidays, it’s best to pre-plan and book one where necessary.

Fabulous backyard. Loving the variety of veggies you have planted. Happy Growing (and eating)!
Thanks Ruth. Always learning and trying new things. We had to cover our beetroot plants as the birds were devouring them!😆 Happy gardening!

Thanks for sharing. One of my favorite spots on the Island is Sax Point, Victoria. Miss it!
Thanks for watching Carol and for the tip on Saxe Point, Victoria. We’ll check it out next time we head south!😎
