Really enjoy all of your videos! The production values are excellent. We’ll be taking our boat from the Tampa area (Snead Island) back to Maryland at the end of April, and have really enjoyed the documentation of your journey. I suspect we’ll visit many of the same stops along the route as you have, we’ll be going via the Okechobee waterway as well. What video software and camera equipment do you use, if you’re willing to share? Again, your production and story telling are wonderful. Best of luck on your adventures with a new boat back in BC! BTW, we had a Cutwater C28, wonderful boat. .

I think it’s a real pity that power boats greatly outnumber the sailboats. Though, again, new is largely out of ordinary people’s budgets. Other disadvantage of sailboats is the limited amount of room compared to a power boat for a given length.

Congratulations on your solar panel install with Shift. Shift installed a 7kW solar system on our roof in January of 2024, like you I’ve loved tracking our solar panel system in real time. We’ve produced just over 7000 kWh since the install and even in the short time we’ve had it we’ve noticed savings on our bill.

I like that Sea Piper, it looks like the perfect trawler for the Baltic sea. As a finn I`m glad that Targa finally starts to "go America", their boats are the real deal and you can go out almost regardless of the weather. Rugged and very solidly built they are the right choice for almost every conditions and they also age well. Interesting video.

Hullo Ferry is so worth it. Downtown Naniamo to Downtown Vancouver in less then 75 mins!!! also Business class worh it if you have the extra cash!!!

Use to feel like a slower pace unloading at Nanaimo from the ferry, a relieve getting back on the Island ,now it feels the same as Being in Vancouver, feels more at home after i get to Parksville.

Born in St Josephs Hospital there, in 53, lived at Kin Beach, just North of the CFB, then moved to the North Thompson area in 58. I still love to go back though. I love the whole area from there to Deep Bay.

Parksville is nice but it is very quiet in the winter months, head down to Mexico for a few months in the winter.
