DIY Bank Mower Fabrication - It worked!
I think I have completed this project. I still need to modify one or two things, but I am happy with the outcome. Once my bridge is repaired and the creek is excavated, I think mowing the banks next spring will be a breeze!

No it's way more expensive then planting native praire lands back in the area.

As long as it does what you want it to do, it is just fine. I made one similar to yours but I have chains on each corner of the deck. I sort of like yours better. The biggest problem is that the shore along the lake is very uneven ground. I guess I would be better of just hovering over the weeds but then I would have to mow it more often. I have a video on my channel. Thanks for the video. 😀😀😀

I just finished mowing my lake shore today. It takes time. It is only about a 40" path and but if I get any closer, I will sink. I just put the tractor in low range and constantly adjust my height. The bogs are a lot of trouble. Well if you come up with a better idea I will be glad to hear it.😃😃😃😃 I guess the only thing that would help is if the mower had tracks instead of wheels. That way it could handle uneven terrain better. I have to keep the front wheels just a little off the ground so that it does not nose dive.
