Problem is that many of the things he taps only ends up with 1-2 threads holding the part on. Rule of thumb is the tapped material needs to be at least as thick as the fastener diameter. In many cases, such as the brake rotor hubs and many of the handlebar fasteners, the material tapped is thinner than the fastener, and would fail if torqued to the suggested torque needed to keep it tight. While I like how sturdy his builds in general are, I often see the fastener issue. Would be just as easy and stronger in the long run just to weld nuts on.
Wow nice build. As a retired service technician ,with a lot of SNAP ON and Mack tools ,you have bigger tools than me. I was a Mobile technician for 31 years . I Like your plasma cutter. Nice to see a good welder run a bead ,not the spot, spot, spot. Great engineering on it ,it looks better than a new John Deer,no rust on yours. You even put safety stickers on it. Hats off to you young man from Upstate New York 🇺🇸
@joegilly1523, I believe we know each other from high school. Our sports teams were spartans. In 1973 we were 22-0 in varsity basketball. Does any of this sound familiar?
Can we all take a moment to acknowledge that this man bends sheet metal by hand, using a bench vise, and gets results that people hope for with their CNC press brakes?
If you open up the back part of the deck that encloses the blade and add a rubber flap it will handle cutting thick material alot better. it has no where to go after the blades cut it and it will put alot of extra load on the motor. Awesome build!

Awesome build 👍🏻, one thing to keep in mind is to protect the bolts on the bottom of blade and shaft, my skid steer mower has the same style blades if there’s a rock and it gets hit by the bolts they get damaged, what I did was to make a cover from and old oxygen cylinder cap and welded it on, I cut it just a bit less then the cut height, now it works great as it can bounce over rocks and save the bolt heads.
I applaud standing! You will hardly find such simple and excellent content. Well done, boy. No show-offs, no extra words, everything is clear! Bravo!!!
Totaly ingenious, and an awesome buil and footage doing so. Been awhile since I have made time to watch, but a must shared build & video, Bear in TX-USA
I though I would watch so I can replicate this. Even though I do not have all the tools required I was thinking of using what I have to work around. Unfortunately just too much. This is an excellent show of craftsmanship. I still watched to the end. Adding one more to the many well deserved 👍 Stay well, Joe Z
These no talking, no music, just the sound of work, are the absolute best to watch. In my opinion of course😊👌
My boss tells me I talk to much and than complains about a lack of communication.
It's another reason that I ( for one ) can watch his videos all the way through, without nodding off ::)
This new trend to have background music, for people talking, especially on a promotional Video is so annoying. Especially when it just repeats.

Love how you power tap all your threads while other TH-cam people are snapping them turning by hand and are scared of them. You know your tools well!

@joegilly1523,
I believe we know each other from high school.

In 1973 we were 22-0 in varsity basketball.

Impressive build! You sure build things for strength!
Can we all take a moment to acknowledge that this man bends sheet metal by hand, using a bench vise, and gets results that people hope for with their CNC press brakes?
I've worked with a few of these guys over the years. They are called model-makers!
Also note that he scores the back side of most bends to get this results. Ya do what you need to do to get good results.

Agree. Except, I'd put it out the side. May be too dangerous out the back. Even with a flap. Good idea though.
We need a mower v2.0 built by him :D. I would love to watch.
@@lm4278how can you make this more dangerous?

What a great project! I'm constantly in awe of your precision with an angle grinder.
I watch so many channels of people mowing, and also ones of people building things. It's awesome to see the two brought together.
This is a war machine! 😁 Greetings to our Polish cousins from Czechia.
Well done mate probably as good if not better than most commercial mowers
Cheers from Aus
This guy is the real deal. Awesome work.❤
Very cool! I don't have time for underpowered lawnmowers! This one makes hay!

It's fascinating to see how all the bits and pieces come together, and the ingenuity in so many unexpected places.
Bro is single-handedly keeping the socket head cap screw industry alive!
He makes it look like he's a "maker". But given his penchant for socket headed cap screws, I think he's secretly a machinists. Lol
Excellent
I think they are just more common here in Europe.

Nicely engineered. From this video, it is clear why the blueprint took so much effort. Lots of components to source and mesh together.
