Sir the biggest problem today isn't selling but pricing power.... I have a friend who has a electronic and utensils shop in western maharashtra.... he sees products been sold online lesser or equal to his buying price... he can't compete... when checked it's about bulk buying with extra discount or tie up with small finance cos who provide 0% intrest... so these are other problems as well which need to be addressed...

Even with this new ONDC, we need a platform that shows prices from different e-commerce vendors to a customer right?
There will be many new platform coming son after ONDC is launched pan India. and every platform will have to show different venders through ONDC.

Not much clarity on refund and customer service which is one of the main reason people flock to certain platform plus membership benefits. This idea looks politically correct for kirana stores but they will still struggle to get volume discounts and compete with low price.
During Congress rule Aadhar was introduced, obvious reason dishonesty, until NDA comes rule the actual success of Aadhar, but Modi's intention most of the times was highly successful, I feel ONDC eCommerce platform will be successful in very shortest time, needless to mention there will be challenges and all have to face
"Highly Successful" I can't agree. Demonetisation, Improper GST execution,etc. weren't even close to being successful, I guess.

Adoption will be rapid. One risk is how the Govt will deal with the data. Privacy of data and its implications has to be understood well.
They have stated that the customer data wil nt be saved for their privacy protection. So don't woprry about it.
How to access ONDC as buyer
U don't have to do anything. When ONDC will be implemented in your city. Probably u will automatically see options from other sellers and flatforms on any e-commerse platform that u go.

damn good concept, but if govt don't attached its name and promote as a startup then the chances of growing this platform would be much higher, people don't trust govt run platform specially where the money is involved, their way of cooperation, dealing with issues, dispute mechanism, privacy, reliability many other things
