Thanks to nandan sir for his valuable contribution to digitalisation in our country.. All the concerned authorities [both government and non-governmental organisations] involved in the digital applications to ensure availability of end to end data protection [both data at rest and data in transmit] and data leakage [data theft] protection for customer sensitive information . We have to go a long way in DLP and with increased use of technology, public also to be made aware of the safety process to be followed to safeguard their hard earned money and to keep away from cyber frauds..
Thanks for bringing Nandan Nilekani, a great contributor in designing the modern India, on the show. A treat to hear him share his views. Absolutely clear and to the point.
Good interview but my question to Ms Latha: what does ONDC have to do with inequity? before asking that question, you really have to explain *why* you think there is a link between ONDC (or any tech stack) & social inequity? Mr. Nilekani gave the appropriate answer but that is the fundamental premise of a digital commons anyway. I think the time would be better used to explain a detailed usecase or an actual example i.e. how a local kirana store can use ONDC, perhaps in the local language.
mam please retire.just chat with other guys like mla and mp's. please appoint business people to talk with intellectuals like Nandan Nilekani(designer of digital india).
She actually talks too much, and not allowing the guy. Wanting to prove intellectually is the mark of such lengthy questions, which at the end gets the questions and diluted.
Not sure how the consumer apps will do ranking of products on the ONDC channel, or will this be some standardised selection that ONDC APIs will provide out of the box. More details should come out on the ONDC protocol sooner.
Latha ji. You are addressing him as nandan! A towering personality & architect of UPI ADHAR CARD system- please give respect to such nation builders. Also you are handling him like your colleague- “ I agree with you “ etc. you are not in his league at all!!!
Latha misses the point that inequality would be more if digital initiatives were not be accessible to all. Political bias is so obvious. Everytime Nandan says something sensible, she will agree BUT harp on things she is dying to hear from Nandan
In this conversation, looks like Latha is mixing her political leaning with her questions or the questions were leading to that. Nandan's job is to create digitisation. Data Security is national subject, Lending security is lenders subject, not sure how nandan can address that, however, he clearly answered lata's questions but she is in no mood to accept his answers. This is not a good way at all, this is purely my personal opinion and not inviting a debate. Thank you
The anchor needs to understand UPIs scale well prior talking about it. She was schooled & in the process we learnt more. So a complaint but no complaint really 😅
The anchor wants to bring political colour by repeating more than 3-4 times even Mr Nandan Nilekani diverted her attention, it seems the editor in chief has instructed to do this . Sorry Latha , you are not at fault .
The interviewer has poor knowledge and preparation. Some questions were out of the scope of Nilekani's expertise. Her voice is good but preparation is poor.
Nandan Nilekani should be given Bharat Ratna

Amazing vision Mr. Nilekani!!! May God give you good health and a long life to continue to help our nation!

THIS LADY ALWAYS TRYING HERSELF TO BE SMART. LADY YOU ARE JOURNALIST. YOUR SMARTNESS YOU KEEP AT HOME AND ALLOW GUEST TO EXPRESS THEMSELVES...

This is common in Indian media
actually her questions are quite good.

@Latha, just interrupting for the sake of it is not the true spirit of journalism. Pl improve your craft. Just an honest feedback.
The lady is ignoring the loans to MSME are paid more promptly than bigger loans

Yep. Almost like being argumentative.
If you agree / understand why argue further on the point.

Digitisation or digitalisation?
Better time management is required from the interviewer. No point in holding an interview and constantly keep saying that time is running out.

Is Mr NN , still with INFOSYS ?
Latha with a biased question ....when via and other are crying because of our digitalization....we keep talking about ..what not vs what we have....

Why invite people and interrupt them when they speak. Journalists are worst kind of vermin.
