I travelled to India after 7 years and was immensely surprised to see the growth of Chennai, especially Mahabalipuram. Shocked and surprised but happy for the country.
As an Indian myself, I am surprised by traveling to other cities, just after a gap of 4-5+ years, at the level of development! Uttar Pradesh and Delhi outskirts were just slums back in 2010. But they are on a totally different level today!

TBH Mumbai is not best city to view 'new India'.....It's one of 2-largest cities for sure...but Bangalore,Gurgaon,Noida project a much better view of what 'new India' is supposed to be like.
If it takes complete control of the india ocean, it can become a regional power. But insists on too much control over a population with too many differences. Instead of needing the approval of like 81 agencies to start businesses, they should focus on the quality of goods and most importantly food. Honestly, a more decentralized approach may do wonders for them or they could just get rid of democracy and go full control. Too much in the middle seems like a barrier stopping India

I'm a Singaporean. My wife and kids are of Indian descent. I believe that India will become the supreme and only superpower within the next decade under the unpreceded leader Modi for two reasons. First of all, unlike China which is considered as a threat by every country and contained by the entire west, India receives the blessing of everyone because it has no ambitions of its own. She is the only major power for good and kindness and therefore innately has the moral high ground. Its future progress and development are bound to be unparallel and unstoppable. Secondly, the conflicts between the two existing hegemonies, namely United States and China, are of life and death. Their fight for controlling Taiwan is especially irreconcilable and will eventually lead to a nuclear war between them (probably will involve all the west). After the existing hegemonies nuke each other back to the stone age, India will emerge as the unquestionable power to lead and unit the world. Jai hind!

At 2007 to 2013 i see india as still poor country and use to hate my country too because of corrupt government, but after 2014 , modi came and he was a ultra nationalist guy. He started project called Swatch bharat (clean india) so he built lot of sanitation in india within 1 year, after that aatmanirbhar bharat project (self reliant india) which given power to all private industry to develop powerful weapon against other countries who tried to attack india and less independent on foreign weapons. Just like Modi promised that he would change india to poor to developing nation and to a developed one , he's making his promise done. Pascal, I see a great story teller in you! The metaphor of 'hope and dream', and 'the blue, the red, and the purple ocean'.... I mean, wow! As an Indian I have to agree with everything you said. Democracy as a hurdle: I felt the same, say, 10 years ago when I see development projects of national importance got stalled just for petty politics. India had series of coalition government then. But on hindsight I would say to my countrymen that we shouldn't treat it as lost decades, because that was part of maturing of our democratic process. It was part of the learning process of the voters of how to vote and for whom to vote. Voters have now realised we don't want coalition govt of regional parties, this we can see from the recent voting pattern where voters elect regional parties for the state assembly and national party for the national/central govt. Voters seem to realise bigger national parties have larger vision for the country and have the capacity to carry out that vision.

Pascal, this has been the most candid, in depth look at India, no other video had gone into her complexities, her hybrid model, not a single other person has ever reported that different sectors move at a very different pace, i mean i am very impressed. Indians hate videos where only poverty is shown and some are focusing only on the developed parts but you showed the picture as it is and even gave valid explanations for those stark differences and offered possible solutions. Hence why i agree that India is more like a tiger than an elephant. She is colourful but almost invisible among the grass, sitting in waiting for long periods then suddenly out of the blue, she leaps when she sees the opportunity to grab its destiny. I had lived in France & Germany for Five years. What western people do is visit one city or State and analyse whole country on it basis of it.. India has much more culture diversity and different language then combined Europe, it is more then continent. One can't evaluate India with European spectacles or scale by compair it to their native country, and most of westerner never miss to show the wrost (slum area) but never show good part like new infrastructure... You had shown old trains but didn't show new metros.

I'd like to comment on the perception of many Indians about democracy being a problem for them, considering that once there's many parties and their interests, sometimes not the best interests for the whole country. I completely agree with that, because we've been facing the same here in Latin America influenced overweeningly by the United States. I write from Brazil and can tell you that because of ou weak democratic institutions, we have lost two decades of development and economic growth. We have had 21 years dictatorship funded and planned by the US in the 1960. And after that, when Brazil was growing and developing again under the first and second Lula's terms, once again we have suffered another coup planned in the US against the alignment between Brazil and the BRICS. Now, after restored our democracy last Sunday's we have to face many parties aligned with the US strategy for Latin America trying to prevent Brazil to restore it's partnership with the BRICS and the whole south to project a sovereign and developed way for our country. I wish you could visit Brazil and show here your analysis on my country, specially now that Lula is back!
Brazilians are a wonderful people, in my view! I think Lula will be good for Brazil in the long run, because if any country has to prosper, it has to be able to carry all the people in that development process. That might make it a slower process (just like happened in India due to its slow-moving democracy), but in the long run it will be much more sustainable, because all the people have been consulted, and been part of that growth process. I could be wrong, but I think Lula will do a better job of including all Brazilians in its growth story, than Bolsanaro. The risk with not carrying all the people along is that those who are cast aside could some day revolt, and the whole system could come crashing down!

Thank you for making a great business case analysis about India (i.e. Bharat) and sharing your opinion about India. I think many people (Indians and foreigners) will learn a great deal about India from your video. You highlighted one point about family based SMEs and thousand individuals taking one step at a time, instead of one person taking 1000 steps. In my opinion this is very much similar to the philosophy of doing good for the society, if the society is progressing and you will get the benefit as well because you are part of the same society. I believe soon 1000s of these people will start running and you will be amazed. You ended the video with a question: "Can we trust India?" I think your question is wrong because India as country and society is trusted by many countries in the world. Look at a recent example of "Vaccine Maitri". I am sure you will google and find out more about it. In my opinion the real question is: "Can India trust the west?" Find out what west did in 1971 (Bangladesh Liberation War) and 1999 (The Kargil War). Somebody's war ships landed close to eastern borders of India in 1971 to threaten us; and in 1999 someone blocked the GPS technology and also stopped supplying arms and ammunitions because of which it took little longer for India to win the war.

It's great to see you present your insights on India. If India manages to cooperate with China and their neighbours (especially ASEAN countries), they can develop in no time.

India being a democracy can never be compared with China which is autocratic. Democratic process is indeed very laborious and requires time. Diversity of India offfers another great challenge. We can only say we are struggling to go forward. Anyway we seem to be moving forward
I think your reasoning is good, but we should also understand that the Chinese authoritarian regime has only two advantages that aligns with rapid development, a stable government and an extreme ideology of nationalism. India already has extreme nationalism embedded by our movies and culture, and while a stable government has a single agenda they can keep working on (and may seem like an advantage to many), it'll create a saturatory point where it will destroy more than it creates. Look at any country that has a history of an authoritarian regime, each of it grew fast and deadly but had a saturatory point that made it succumb in itself.
Tomorrow is my exam yet I'm still watching this video. It was quite a good one. You explained India's drawbacks and achievements quite well. We are hopeful about India's future but don't know how far it will go in one decade. I'm just hoping 10 years later you will make videos about miracles performed in China as well as in India and explain them. I just wish India can improve HDI more faster because money doesn't measure your happiness in India.

India is 10-20 years ahead of China and Europe in Digital Innovation specially in UPI, top tier training and skilling of manpower by IITs(Indian Institutes of Technology) Government of India is introducing UPI is over 50 countries including Europe. The US Fed still doesn't have an answer to UPI and Aadhar technologies.
China and Europe have aging populations and are primarily concerned withnot losing their current industries too quickly. So most of the talent pool gets put into the existing industries rather than moving into new value-added industry. So Indians have the choice to move into something else and set up new industries.

I'm living in Europe as well for over 12 years, and I went back to India after 4 years, I would say you pretty much hit the nail on the head where India stands. Here are a few add ons or reasons why different aspects of India are different years behind: * 2014 Modi was elected and India under massive external debt and broken financial system, so 2014-2017 was involved in fixing that (UPI for example), RERA (for clearer land titles which was a mess before) * 2017-2019 massive digitsation and simplification of business process as a result of IT * 2019-2021 massive investment into roads from both government and private sector (as land could be acquired much faster and digitization os payments gave trust to SMEs to build roads) * 2020-2021 (exports start choking), government starts building freight corridors, demand for trains starts increasing, huge growth in Unicorns leads to much higher incomes * 2022- (as a result of previous 0 to 1 steps) high speed rail construction starts approaching full speed (almost 120 km of piers laid), China Russia happens, India seems easier for Western companies but they still don't fully trust (but invest some money like Apple, Samsung, TSMC). However, keep in mind they have only started investing (takes 3-5 years to fully realize the investment and hire people at full capacity). This means people at large scale in India would start getting employed somewhere in 2025-2027. Now let's look at China, when did Chinese exports start exploding? Right after it joined WTO in 2001 which is roughly 25-26 years ago from 2025-27. However, one unique advantage India does have over China is IT. More precisely said, the IT industry in India is already at par with China, but the country is only yet starting to do manufacturing. This makes India the first country in the world which is a leader in high end IT but actually gaining manufacturing, and when the hardware does catch up with software it would give it unchallenged power (because software is essentially the strength of West versus Asia). This would mark the full transition of it being the Asian century. Japan for example failed miserably at software, Koreans did better software than Japanese, and Chinese do better software than Koreans. The Asian weakness of software is what prevented Japan, and could possibly China from being at the cutting edge of high end and low end which would lead to US or Western Europe wages.
India is like a huge animal, it take heavy step at a time and is very slow. However, once it takes a step forward, it's very very hard to push it back. Only time will tell the future it holds. But the fact remains the same - the power is finally coming back home to Asia where it belongs. This is the beginning of our century

No. India benefitted more compared to China even both countries were invaded and looted. 3) Compare the GDP of India versus GDP of China on year 1987 whereby India had 279.03 billion whereas China had 272.97 billion, the only time when both of their GDP overlapped under the data from World Bank? India started out richer under British India but when the British left, India only exposes their incompetence. From year 1947 to year 1987, China managed to catch up to India in GDP. WHY? 😂🤣 4) What about from year 1987 to year 2021 present day? Latest data from World Bank shows that China have 17.73 Trillion economy whereas India have merely 3.17 Trillion economy on year 2021. China has nearly 6 times more GDP than India. Why? 🤣😂 5) India and China had a clean reset in GDP on year 1987 whereby both countries started out the same, yet why such differences after that? 🤣 6) I ask you why India managed to produce a 3.17 trillion economy despite receiving so much foreign aid/business and zero sanctions whereas China managed to produce a 17.73 trillion economy despite so many business decoupling and sanctions from the West/US ? Is this the best India could do? 🤣😅 *You know nothing about the interpretations of financial data and their historical records before making any comment. The infrastructure in India is headed for huge leap forward; Bharatmala Prayojana and 70 Expressways on the Road works; Dedicated Freight Corridors for movement of Railway Goods, with Delhi Mumbai and Delhi Kolkata first being connected; Sagarmala for the ports, increasing capacities; some 100 Airports slated for being upgraded; metro trains for major tier 1 to 3 cities on the way and increasing in length and coverage; passenger railways gaining traction with their fast trains steadily increasing across the country! All this significantly to be completed before the next general election in 2024, with quite some opened already in parts or fully. This is going to be a game changer for India which has struggled with infrastructure for decades. Industry and Business, across India will benefit, supply chain will become efficient; transportation cost could come down by about 5% from about 14/15% current levels, to about 9%.
Great start, but it will take atleast 5-10 years to see results. Vajpayee started infra developments in the early 2000s but democracy came in the way!! Just imagine if he had continues for 10 more years, we would be rivalling china now.
You will be surprised at the speed with which the infrastructure improvement is being embraced now, their useage is spontaneous as they were waiting for it, in less than two years each road/ metro/ rail/ etc will be used to good capacity; growth is taking off like never before.

What is being planned as of now, the major infrastructure, particularly on roads, is scheduled for completion before the 2024 general elections, linking land locked northern India to the ports in the south; together with this major Expressways will also open across the country before the 2024 general elections. The North East and the border states with China and Pakistan are also steadily getting addressed so that there is connectivity for any contingency. To compare India with China on infrastructure is a tall order, China is way ahead, India will catch up over time.

If it takes complete control of the india ocean, it can become a regional power. But insists on too much control over a population with too many differences. In India 🇮🇳 focus on infrastructure came only about 20 Years back and now the process has been highly accelerated ! Guess many Indians do as you described and I even have some good, smart and humble Indian friends. But when reading the comments pertaining to China, just as many or perhaps even more seem to be otherwise. Not bcoz China has done something bad to its people or country but bcoz of Indian media. Do we vote to change for the betterment or real positive outcomes or just for the sake of voting but nothing change. Can't we accept China being a long millennium and "Continuous Civilisation Nation" with its own ways and characteristics. It's ain't an exaggeration that China has done an impressive, rapid and unbelievable feats in rebuilding an nation. As some scholars even s quoted their governance legitimacy is based on their ability to lift its people living standard, advancement, adoption of science and technology, and modernisation of the whole country but just not by votes alone. It's that a crime or a violation of humanity except differences in politics or ways. Again the freedom slogan which we preach often.
As for India's development, it's a blessing that it has finally arrived as it had been long overdue due to their slow start, diversity, customs, "democracy" and political environments. Guess Indians should know them better. However, there are many negativism in India unfounded in China too. As heard from a forum, India has adapted blindly and proudly the adverse part of democracy too, incondusive of India's political, cultural or tradition environments. For instance, general level of education, corruption, caste systems, and history of an united India (an outcome of British colonial past) of today.

I'm a Singaporean. My wife and kids are of Indian descent. I believe that India will become the supreme and only superpower within the next decade under the unpreceded leader Modi for two reasons. First of all, unlike China which is considered as a threat by every country and contained by the entire west, India receives the blessing of everyone because it has no ambitions of its own. She is the only major power for good and kindness and therefore innately has the moral high ground. Its future progress and development are bound to be unparallel and unstoppable. Secondly, the conflicts between the two existing hegemonies, namely United States and China, are of life and death. Their fight for controlling Taiwan is especially irreconcilable and will eventually lead to a nuclear war between them (probably will involve all the west). After the existing hegemonies nuke each other back to the stone age, India will emerge as the unquestionable power to lead and unit the world. Jai hind!

At 2007 to 2013 i see india as still poor country and use to hate my country too because of corrupt government, but after 2014 , modi came and he was a ultra nationalist guy. He started project called Swatch bharat (clean india) so he built lot of sanitation in india within 1 year, after that aatmanirbhar bharat project (self reliant india) which given power to all private industry to develop powerful weapon against other countries who tried to attack india and less independent on foreign weapons.

As an Indian I have to agree with everything you said.
Democracy as a hurdle: I felt the same, say, 10 years ago when I see development projects of national importance got stalled just for petty politics. India had series of coalition government then. But on hindsight I would say to my countrymen that we shouldn't treat it as lost decades, because that was part of maturing of our democratic process. It was part of the learning process of the voters of how to vote and for whom to vote. Voters have now realised we don't want coalition govt of regional parties, this we can see from the recent voting pattern where voters elect regional parties for the state assembly and national party for the national/central govt. Voters seem to realise bigger national parties have larger vision for the country and have the capacity to carry out that vision.

Pascal, this has been the most candid, in depth look at India, no other video had gone into her complexities, her hybrid model, not a single other person has ever reported that different sectors move at a very different pace, i mean i am very impressed. Indians hate videos where only poverty is shown and some are focusing only on the developed parts but you showed the picture as it is and even gave valid explanations for those stark differences and offered possible solutions. Hence why i agree that India is more like a tiger than an elephant. She is colourful but almost invisible among the grass, sitting in waiting for long periods then suddenly out of the blue, she leaps when she sees the opportunity to grab its destiny. No one knows the direction she came from nor where she might go but there's a method in her madness.

I had lived in France & Germany for Five years. What western people do is visit one city or State and analyse whole country on it basis of it.. India has much more culture diversity and different language then combined Europe, it is more then continent. One can't evaluate India with European spectacles or scale by compair it to their native country, and most of westerner never miss to show the wrost (slum area) but never show good part like new infrastructure... You had shown old trains but didn't show new metros.

Once again, a great master class. Thanks Mr. Pascal. I'd like to comment on the perception of many Indians about democracy being a problem for them, considering that once there's many parties and their interests, sometimes not the best interests for the whole country. I completely agree with that, because we've been facing the same here in Latin America influenced overweeningly by the United States. I write from Brazil and can tell you that because of ou weak democratic institutions, we have lost two decades of development and economic growth. We have had 21 years dictatorship funded and planned by the US in the 1960. And after that, when Brazil was growing and developing again under the first and second Lula's terms, once again we have suffered another coup planned in the US against the alignment between Brazil and the BRICS. Now, after restored our democracy last Sunday's we have to face many parties aligned with the US strategy for Latin America trying to prevent Brazil to restore it's partnership with the BRICS and the whole south to project a sovereign and developed way for our country. I wish you could visit Brazil and show here your analysis on my country, specially now that Lula is back!

I think Lula will be good for Brazil in the long run, because if any country has to prosper, it has to be able to carry all the people in that development process. That might make it a slower process (just like happened in India due to its slow-moving democracy), but in the long run it will be much more sustainable, because all the people have been consulted, and been part of that growth process.
I could be wrong, but I think Lula will do a better job of including all Brazilians in its growth story, than Bolsanaro. The risk with not carrying all the people along is that those who are cast aside could some day revolt, and the whole system could come crashing down!

Thank you for making a great business case analysis about India (i.e. Bharat) and sharing your opinion about India. I think many people (Indians and foreigners) will learn a great deal about India from your video. You highlighted one point about family based SMEs and thousand individuals taking one step at a time, instead of one person taking 1000 steps. In my opinion this is very much similar to the philosophy of doing good for the society, if the society is progressing and you will get the benefit as well because you are part of the same society. I believe soon 1000s of these people will start running and you will be amazed. You ended the video with a question: "Can we trust India?" I think your question is wrong because India as country and society is trusted by many countries in the world. Look at a recent example of "Vaccine Maitri". I am sure you will google and find out more about it. In my opinion the real question is: "Can India trust the west?" Find out what west did in 1971 (Bangladesh Liberation War) and 1999 (The Kargil War). Somebody's war ships landed close to eastern borders of India in 1971 to threaten us; and in 1999 someone blocked the GPS technology and also stopped supplying arms and ammunitions because of which it took little longer for India to win the war.

India being a democracy can never be compared with China which is autocratic. Democratic process is indeed very laborious and requires time. Diversity of India offfers another great challenge. We can only say we are struggling to go forward. Anyway we seem to be moving forward

I think your reasoning is good, but we should also understand that the Chinese authoritarian regime has only two advantages that aligns with rapid development, a stable government and an extreme ideology of nationalism.
India already has extreme nationalism embedded by our movies and culture, and while a stable government has a single agenda they can keep working on (and may seem like an advantage to many), it'll create a saturatory point where it will destroy more than it creates. Look at any country that has a history of an authoritarian regime, each of it grew fast and deadly but had a saturatory point that made it succumb in itself.

Your understanding of china (culture) and its growth seems to give you a better understanding on how to view India.
Your description between "Hope" and "Dream", "purple Ocean" and intrinsic spirituality (invisible strength) in society and culture is indeed the differentiator and it was Brillently put.
I would request you to also do a Indo-China comparative study on the Maturity of the Capital market and Finical institutions, Educational system and institutions, Judiciary and Judicial process and Maturity of the Defense institutions and equipment's.
Other areas could be Food security and Energy market / generation capacity.

China and Europe have aging populations and are primarily concerned withnot losing their current industries too quickly. So most of the talent pool gets put into the existing industries rather than moving into new value-added industry. So Indians have the choice to move into something else and set up new industries.

Let me add one thing - India is the center of spirituality. In times when depression is common and when people finally understand how material wealth is not everything, people from all over the world will thirst for spiritual realization. That's a great deal of soft power for India

There are very few people in a world who actually understands India and it’s point of view and it’s actually rare where people actually know how India thinks and they often underestimate the Indian potential and its efforts being change in the society. Thank you showing the respect by accepting the integrity of India as one country. I'm living in Europe as well for over 12 years, and I went back to India after 4 years, I would say you pretty much hit the nail on the head where India stands.
Here are a few add ons or reasons why different aspects of India are different years behind:
* 2014 Modi was elected and India under massive external debt and broken financial system, so 2014-2017 was involved in fixing that (UPI for example), RERA (for clearer land titles which was a mess before)
* 2017-2019 massive digitsation and simplification of business process as a result of IT
* 2019-2021 massive investment into roads from both government and private sector (as land could be acquired much faster and digitization os payments gave trust to SMEs to build roads)
* 2020-2021 (exports start choking), government starts building freight corridors, demand for trains starts increasing, huge growth in Unicorns leads to much higher incomes
* 2022- (as a result of previous 0 to 1 steps) high speed rail construction starts approaching full speed (almost 120 km of piers laid), China Russia happens, India seems easier for Western companies but they still don't fully trust (but invest some money like Apple, Samsung, TSMC). However, keep in mind they have only started investing (takes 3-5 years to fully realize the investment and hire people at full capacity).
This means people at large scale in India would start getting employed somewhere in 2025-2027.
Now let's look at China, when did Chinese exports start exploding? Right after it joined WTO in 2001 which is roughly 25-26 years ago from 2025-27.
However, one unique advantage India does have over China is IT. More precisely said, the IT industry in India is already at par with China, but the country is only yet starting to do manufacturing. This makes India the first country in the world which is a leader in high end IT but actually gaining manufacturing, and when the hardware does catch up with software it would give it unchallenged power (because software is essentially the strength of West versus Asia). This would mark the full transition of it being the Asian century. Japan for example failed miserably at software, Koreans did better software than Japanese, and Chinese do better software than Koreans. The Asian weakness of software is what prevented Japan, and could possibly China from being at the cutting edge of high end and low end which would lead to US or Western Europe wages.

As a German who also has close interests with Indien, I'd recommend you to go back in the timeline -- at least from 300 BC era until early 18th century -- you'll be shocked to find both China und Indien used to rule the roost with over 50% of the global trade.
No what views we westerners harbor against Indien und China, both are on the right path to reclaim their lost glories as the world's largest trading economies once again.
Note that China was poorer than Indien until late 1950s, so what makes anyone to doubt on the capabilities of Indien?

India do not exist before year 1947. British India was richer than China only because of the British empire.
1) The British built infrastructures, establish a good working governance/trade, good working toilets, introduced democracy and basically all the good ingredients of a good working and prospering economy for British India.
2) What did China have after being looted by 8 nation alliance? Was there any restitution given back to China from those looters in the form of infrastructures, trade etc.? No. India benefitted more compared to China even both countries were invaded and looted.
3) Compare the GDP of India versus GDP of China on year 1987 whereby India had 279.03 billion whereas China had 272.97 billion, the only time when both of their GDP overlapped under the data from World Bank? India started out richer under British India but when the British left, India only exposes their incompetence. From year 1947 to year 1987, China managed to catch up to India in GDP. WHY? 😂🤣
4) What about from year 1987 to year 2021 present day? Latest data from World Bank shows that China have 17.73 Trillion economy whereas India have merely 3.17 Trillion economy on year 2021. China has nearly 6 times more GDP than India. Why? 🤣😂
5) India and China had a clean reset in GDP on year 1987 whereby both countries started out the same, yet why such differences after that? 🤣
6) I ask you why India managed to produce a 3.17 trillion economy despite receiving so much foreign aid/business and zero sanctions whereas China managed to produce a 17.73 trillion economy despite so many business decoupling and sanctions from the West/US ? Is this the best India could do? 🤣😅

The infrastructure in India is headed for huge leap forward; Bharatmala Prayojana and 70 Expressways on the Road works; Dedicated Freight Corridors for movement of Railway Goods, with Delhi Mumbai and Delhi Kolkata first being connected; Sagarmala for the ports, increasing capacities; some 100 Airports slated for being upgraded; metro trains for major tier 1 to 3 cities on the way and increasing in length and coverage; passenger railways gaining traction with their fast trains steadily increasing across the country!
All this significantly to be completed before the next general election in 2024, with quite some opened already in parts or fully.
This is going to be a game changer for India which has struggled with infrastructure for decades.
Industry and Business, across India will benefit, supply chain will become efficient; transportation cost could come down by about 5% from about 14/15% current levels, to about 9%.
Great start, but it will take atleast 5-10 years to see results. Vajpayee started infra developments in the early 2000s but democracy came in the way!! Just imagine if he had continues for 10 more years, we would be rivalling china now.
You will be surprised at the speed with which the infrastructure improvement is being embraced now, their useage is spontaneous as they were waiting for it, in less than two years each road/ metro/ rail/ etc will be used to good capacity; growth is taking off like never before.

But the deficit in infra development is so huge that it will take at least a decade to say our infrastructure is no less than any other country.

What is being planned as of now, the major infrastructure, particularly on roads, is scheduled for completion before the 2024 general elections, linking land locked northern India to the ports in the south; together with this major Expressways will also open across the country before the 2024 general elections.
The North East and the border states with China and Pakistan are also steadily getting addressed so that there is connectivity for any contingency.
To compare India with China on infrastructure is a tall order, China is way ahead, India will catch up over time.
India is already a modern country but many are assuming it's not because of dust due to climate conditions. It's my experience of visiting many countries 🙏
