Yes for the finding water for borehole part theres something called water survey it deploys the use of a technology from china and it costs at most 30 thousand its very adviced to do a survey before digging a borehole
Thank you for this video , I have a question regarding roofing. What is the ideal way to go with roofing? is it preferable to have the roofing company install the wooden frames for the roof and install the roofing sheets themselves(stone tiles) or to buy the roofing sheets and hire someone else that you know to do the wooden installation and the roofing sheets?
Mrs flo thank you for sharing with us on this platform I noticed that you used 3 piece of 6x3 h beams which is 40 feets per 1 for the 4 legs. My question is did you did you join the forth leg to make it 4 standing leg , I’m expecting your reply soon thank you ma’am ❤️
Depends on the number of rooms. And bearing in mind that for a bungalow, even though you don't need the same foundation, no decking but you have more walls because you have everything on one floor.
Flo please can I get an estimate for tiles full house same size as yours,, kindly consider this request and do a video ASAP as am about to tile my house in nigeria am south african married to a nigerian.
This funnel shape one is common in the USA. There are cylindrical ones etc. But there must be a reservoir somewhere. I wonder where Austria is hiding theirs. In the mountains? lol
It's possible but the reason it's not common is that with time, mold, that green thing will form on the walls of the concrete making it unsightly. But with the steel bars, they have anti-rust paint and mold does not grow on it. Also are you sure it's not more expensive to raise concrete that high? I am thinking of all the rods, cement, stones and sand that will go into that. mmh
@@FloFinance thanks so much Flo for your response. All I was looking thinking about is cost reduction and still achieve the same goal. From the concerns you raised against the concrete tank stand, I'm tempted to start thinking about placing it on the rooftop with a lot of design precautions put in place. I know that this tank-on-rooftop design can be highly regretful if not properly done. So please Flo from your perspective, are there possible safeguards and precautionary measures to be put in place to ensure no water ingress into the wall during tank-on-rooftop construction? Thanks.
Yes, there are serious measures you need to put in place, only a professional will look at your bilding plan and provide the best advice on that. I discussed this in the video. Watch from here: th-cam.com/video/j65Pr75ouZw/w-d-xo.html
The only thing wrong with it is that it will look unsightly. You want the front of your house to be aesthetically pleasing. The professional builder should have created a space for it at the back when positioning the house. That said, if there is no other option, place it where you can.
I did a tank stand on my lagos property but I noticed the pressure in the house to be very low, any idea of how one can boost this pressure, or is there any kind of pressure boosting pump that can be added..
Does it meet the minimum height requirement? If not, you will need to bring down the tanks and extend the tank stand. That usually solves the low pressure issue. The next option which I do not recommend is to leave tank stand as it is then install small pumps (at most 0.5hp) on the pipes that supply water to the house. I do not recommend this because there will only be high pressure when there's light. And depending on the pipes used, they may burst inside the walls causing more havoc. What's your plumber saying? If he can't fix it, send me an email.
Maybe yours is bigger? And is it in a big city because they usually charge more for workmanship. This quote I used is very current based on the current prices in the market. And the guy gave me this labour cost. I did not even price sef.
Every tile is not the same size. In addition, the number of tiles in each carton is different for each design and type of tile depending on the company that makes it. The job of your tiler is to measure the area that needs to be tiled in your house and write down the measurements for each room/area where you will use the same type of tiles. When you get to the market, you choose a tile and the seller will tell you how many square meters there are in one carton of that PARTICULAR tile then you use that to work out the number of cartons you need to cover the space where you want to use that tile. You do the same for each space that needs a different design and type of tile. Believe you me, there's a lot of mathematics involved in tiles calculation. If you buy 5 different tiles, you will do this calculation 5 times etc. Shopping for tiles is a whole day's job. That's why you need a good tiler who knows his job as well as understands all that mathematics. Watch this video: th-cam.com/video/XZibNq40BF0/w-d-xo.html I think at some point we were doing the mathematics in the video.
@@FloFinance thanks so much I appreciate, for over 3 months now the tile stuff kept me stranded which if I don't be careful they will eat me finish on the tiling process you know people back home don't smile when it comes to a stuff like this, I guess I should keep inquiring until I'm satisfied to start. Thanks once again
My husband and I have done everything to get water in his village. Nothing. Very beautiful video.

Very educative, can I assume that the cost for a bungalow will be half of this total amount.
