Ho-Oh is my favorite of the gold/silver box legendaries. Can we all just take a second to appreciate how beautiful they made the animations for Ho-Oh? It's probably my favorite Pokemon in Unite right now because of its animations. Idk why they just hit right. Reminds me of growing up watching Ash watch Ho-Oh fly away in the OG anime series.
Man, as much as the game gets slack for bad decisions, you gotta admit the pokemon animations and graphics are beautiful 👌
Honestly I felt like Ho-oh's animations were lackluster. I'm guessing they made it move less to feel more regal but it just looks lazy to me.

I want my boy Melmetal, he could be an crazy AOE attacker with moves like double bash(stun), mega punch(charge up), flash cannon and protect with mid-tankiness and high attack. passive should be damage spread meaning the total attack would be spread out to multiple pokemon (let's say hit 3 pokemon) then the move would do 90% damge to primary target and 60% damge to secondary target and the more target it hits the stronger next move gets or gets more shield.
Interestingly, Ho-Oh is the first defender where you actually DO want to focus your damage into it. Normally, it's a bad strategy to unload onto the slowbro or trev or whatever and they're best avoided, but even if bird isn't reviving allies, it's doing a good job siphoning attention away from them since everyone wants to kill it before it can unite lol.
Such a strong Pokémon, too bad it's EX. Maybe you could play with people you know and have them get KOd.

Unite move is good enough just cutting the respawn timer for the carry before Ray. Doesn't even need to hit more than one
The recovery on this is nuts. The leftovers actually makes it look even better.

I honestly like this. Ho oh looks fun and not super miserable to fight. Super cool to get a defender EX. Seems really strong obviously and it’s unite is gonna be insane, but I think they’re getting closer to that happy medium w the EX route w Ho Oh here. Still super powerful, but not so powerful where you just feel like you’re screwed everytime you see it on another team.
My dream legendary for this game is Groudon tho. I’d do anything to have that dino in the game

I think X-Speed on Flamethrower + Fly is just absolutely Char Ult 2.0 but just weaker.

Actually in test server the enemies are mostly bot to testing pokemon, so maybe thats okay for u unless u found out other real player in the match

Looks weak, I know we're used to defensive roles that make high damage but looks weak, even more for a 130 base attack Pokemon on the main games (I can be wrong about the numbers)
