I’ve always washed all clothing and sheets, towels before using in case of bugs. Thank you for all your tips

The summer before I entered college as a freshman, my mom reminded me to wash my new sheets for my dorm bed. Ignoring her advice, I took those sheets, fresh out of the packaging, and made my bed when I got to college. The next day I woke up with the worst rash on my body. I washed those sheets in the dorm laundry room (could have washed them for free at home if I had listened to Mama). Since then, I always washed everything before use.

Yes I wash everything first, think of all the people that touched the sheets. Even though some sheets do come in a baggie, people still touch a lot of times before buying. I think it's also very important for clothing, people can try them on in the store.

Hi again, it's probably a good idea. I'm just more and more aware of the possibilities of "critters" and of course, allergies. My husband was having a problem with sneezing and I think it was related to another laundry product I had been using. He doesn't have that now.

@@homemakingwithdenise Yes I have that problem with allergies. Also there may be critters. Just a good idea to wash first. Yep Yep.

YES. ALWAYS WASH NEW CLOTHES AND FABRICS BEFORE WEAR OR USE.
They still have chemicals from manufacturing. Either fabric dyes or from fumigation (some fabric rolls maybe be sitting in containers for many months and they fumigated them to get rid of pests)
