Hi to you both. My husband and I are working our way through watching your Europe trip videos. We're up to day 21 I think. When did you set off from Poole? We've already seen you mention how warm it is at the beginning, but were you far into summer when you set off?
Hi there, we caught the ferry on the 30th May, 2022. It was pretty cold to start with, then soon warmed up. Day 21 was the 19th June in Tours when it was 41 degrees. Thanks for following along, we hope you are enjoying the series.
please can you tell me what camera you used to do the videos while cycling?
Hi, I used a GoPro8 for the talking shots, I had a GoPro7 strapped onto my chest, and I used my iphone for most of the other shots.
@@NomadLifeKiwi Thank you. I have done quite a bit of touring around europe myself and have been along the loire valley. Currently up to day 30 of your tour where you are cycling along there. Your videos are very good and i am enjoying them very much. They have given me inspiration to do another trip as i had lost my motivation for cycling the past year or two.
@@fleetfut423 Thank you, that's really kind of you to say. Glad to hear you've got some motivation back to go cycling again. We went through a phase of cycle touring about 10 years ago, where we did a tour each year, and for some reason our interest dropped off too. But it was amazing being back out on the bikes again, such a great way to travel. Enjoy your travels 🙂
