I do lots of video and photographic work and at times, I need that little extra boost to get above the crowd, or elevate my vantage point for those group photographs.
This ladder is extremely comfortable to stand on and is more stable than I expected.
I think it's a great ladder for the price and I decided I like the silver color so it's easy to see and people won't be running into you in a darkened reception hall, or some other place where people may be walking around you.

A ladder is only good as the level of balance underneath. If the ladder is not level, no ladder in the world would pass the shake test.

You are reviewing a 300 pound manufacturer rated ladder. What do you weigh? Second question how is it a 6 foot ladder when the highest step is only 45 inches? This sounds like another manufacturer scam.

Hi John, I weigh exactly 192 pounds at the moment. Ladder height measurements are always referencing the bottom of the legs to the top of the ladder. None of the ladders I own recommend standing on the very top, so even utility, non-platform style ladders never have the user standing on the rated height rung. I did think it was important to share about the ladder and show what the actual "standing" height is. The top bar is a good stability point to lean against. I don't know about being a "scam", but this is their tallest ladder and I personally like it.
