Letting Moro recover is consistent with Goku's character because Goku's main objective is not being the hero but to fight worthy opponents in a fair fight in order to push his limits. This is what makes Goku different from countless shonen characters.
Its not about being a hero its about goku never learning his lessons and shouldnt keep repeating the same mistakes. He should've learned from frieza cell and when he fought frieza again.

Exactly people are saying it’s regression when really, it’s character consistency. Moro begging for mercy showed goku 2 things: 1.that he has some potential to be good 2.he could use his immense fighting strength to be good instead of evil, and could also be a training partner for goku to continue on his own journey to greater strength. And also, many people missed the fact that merus approved of goku’s unique philosophy of reforming villains. That’s really what inspired him to sacrifice himself for goku, because he believed that his philosophy could help preserve the peace in the universe.

Even during the tournament of power, Goku specifically said he didn't care about justice, but now with Moro we see him fighting for justice for the FIRST TIME. This is Goku's first meaningful development in a long time, Goku has spared people who have done just as bad things as Moro. Look at Frieza for example. for the broly movie thing: in frieza's defense, he wasn't comepletely there for malicious intent. He was there for the dragon balls to increase his height. Broly was only there because he knew goku and vegeta would try to stop him.

You are missing the point. Goku didn't spare Moro just to fight him again, I don't know where you got that notion from. The main reason Goku spared Moro is because this is what Merus wanted, and Merus's beliefs on justice, morality, and reform rubbed off on Goku.
Goku has made a LOT of mistakes ranging from minor to disastrous over the years, but the reason the straw broke the camel’s back with Moro was because it was after Merus sacrifice.
Merus never wanted goku to just kill Moro on the spot. He just wanted goku to use his ideals and beliefs, aka seeing the potential for villians to become good and reforming them, to preserve the peace in the universe. If that didn’t work, THEN kill him, but By at least giving Moro another chance when he begged, he honored merus, as well as his own core beliefs

Sometimes Goku refuses to finish off his enemies because he wants to fight them longer and test his power.
With goten and trunks, it was more about passing the torch to the next generation. And the fact that nobody else on earth could stand a chance against buu. The main reason he doesn’t finish off certain enemies is because of his mercy philosophy he learned from kami
I think the thing with Vegito was that he couldn't bring himself to kill his kids. Think if you were in his situation and even if you knew you could resurrect your children, could you pull the trigger on them? I think when you put it like that it's more clear as to why he did that.

I guess it could be said that because they became part of Buu, killing Buu wouldn’t mean you can wish the boys back. Only by wishing Buu back would the boys come back as well, as part of Buu. Now there is obviously no proof of this, but that would make the whole ”free the kids” plan much more plausible

Could have made a ton of battles easier - Not going straight to his most powerful form in any battle where he doesn't, unless of course he needs to save stamina like the Tournament of Power - Not having senszu beans with him at all times during battles - Not just using instant transmission to teleport back after dropping off Semi-Perfect Cell at King Kai's planet - Future Goku not helping Future Gohan from the Other World (this one may have some reason) - Goku taking out a hit on himself - Goku only wishing to bring back Bora and not everyone else that was killed by the Red Ribbon Army (though he may not have known the dragon could do this yet) - Choosing to let Raditz go initially - Not using the Room of Spirit and Time at any point prior to the Cell Saga - Not just completely abusing the Room of Spirit and Time after it no longer had a limit - At the end of Z and GT, choosing to leave his family to train Uub, instead of just training Uub along with the rest - In GT as Gogeta, not finishing off Omega Shenron quickly

In GT, Goku willingly killed his enemies, which regressed him to the simple barbaric child that he was back in the original DB. I'll admit, I liked when he finished his opponents, but its by definition regression whether you like it or not. Another thing I don't like about GT is related to how Goku finishes his enemies. Goku beats EVERY GT enemy. People complain that DBS is the "Goku show", but DBGT is even worse in that aspect. Goku defeats EVERY major enemy in DBGT. General Rildo, Baby Vegeta, Super 17, and Omega Shenron. The fact that you know Goku is always going to win makes the show bland and predictable because Goku never loses. Compare that to DBS where its actually less predictable. Goku lost to Beerus, Hit, Goku Black, and was eliminated in the tournament of power by Jiren. Pretty much the only enemy he beat in DBS was Golden Frieza, and the fact that Goku loses way more makes the show less predictable and more fun to watch. Although we know that all the characters will inevitably be fine by the 10 year time skip, DBS still makes the tension feel real and even better than DBGT. I will be honest, I prefer DBS to DBGT in most regards. Pretty much the only thing I like more about DBGT is that Goku is smarter and that the artstyle is more similar to DBZ, which makes it feel more like a direct continuation than DBS does. Despite this, I prefer DBS in most other aspects. DBS has better fights, better introduced concepts such as gods and the multiverse, DBS is more entertaining, DBS is much funnier, DBS is less predictable.
No Super Goku is NOT better as a character, his stupidity is amped to 11 (He didn’t know much about kissing despite being with Chi Chi for decades) and he put the multiverse at risk just for a chance of a good fight. GT Goku on the other hand may have stuck with a kid’s body for the show but he got the job done, you may call it regression but Baby, Super 17 and Omega were all major threats that he knew he couldn’t take a chance with and he was wise enough to know when enough is enough.
I just rewatched seth's "The Strength Of Son Goku" video and this ties into that video perfectly. The philosophies, morality, and evolution of Goku are more complex than many people think. To this day he is still learning and Goku making mistakes along the way makes him more human.

Goku’s entire life was a mistake, ever since he bumped his head as a small child that changed his personality from wild vicious Saiyan to happy kind Earthling
Gogeta sparing Frieza could have been the simple repayment of the ToP debt. They agreed to revive him, but Beerus did that, not the Earthlings, so much like Frieza giving Goku energy to balance the scale of who owes who, this could essentially be his one free pass, thus the debt it paid. That said if it was Vegito, where Vegeta's personality is dominant, things might have gone different. Still, in the end this is just my theory based on some assumptions about how fusions think. Its also possible the Vegeta half spared Frieza not so much to pay back his help in the ToP, but for the change to finish off Frieza as Vegeta and not some juiced up fusion. He wants to have that long awaited victory as his own individual achievement.

I think goku fighting black in the beginning of the goku black arc was a mistake because if goku went all out and killed black, without black, no ssr, no fused zamasu, and no one gets erased by zeno because he called zeno at the end of the arc

He had confidence in Gohan yes since he was stronger than Goku, but it had nothing to do with wanting a good fight and was part of a larger plan to draw out Gohan’s hidden power and as far as the story is concerned they were more screwed if Goku DIDN’T give Cell a senzu since Cell was holding back a lot even against Gohan and no one there could have stood up to him, and even though he regrets the decision it wasn’t because he realized Cell was a threat it was because he realized Gohan doens’t like fighting he does and Goku STILL ended up being right 6. He wanted the next generation to take it out he’s, as he felt like he couldn’t just save them every time as his thought process was he wasn’t always going to be there so the next generation needs to be ready, you can argue it’s stupid but I don’t personally think so 8. Vegito is a whole new entity so atttributing that to Goku as well isn’t valid I think, but yes I guess it kinda is the long way to go about things 9. As much as Goku was scolded for bringing Frieza back to Earth for the Tournament Arc, the crunch time the gang had was more severe. Plus some of the U7 fighters shouldn't be talking since they were once villians. Without 10 fighters the universe is disqualified and (I believe) would be erased at the spot. So would you rather let that happen or get any available fighter you can deal with later should they go rogue? At one point, we all had to deal with difficult people to achieve a greater goal. In the words of Shujinko, sworn enemies join forces to combat a greater threat.

Letting Moro recover is consistent with Goku's character because Goku's main objective is not being the hero but to fight worthy opponents in a fair fight in order to push his limits. This is what makes Goku different from countless shonen characters.

Moro begging for mercy showed goku 2 things: 1.that he has some potential to be good 2.he could use his immense fighting strength to be good instead of evil, and could also be a training partner for goku to continue on his own journey to greater strength. And also, many people missed the fact that merus approved of goku’s unique philosophy of reforming villains. That’s really what inspired him to sacrifice himself for goku, because he believed that his philosophy could help preserve the peace in the universe.

Even in the past in the Cell Saga the Senzu beans served to remove doubts who is stronger than who. Perfect cell Full Power lost to Gohan Ssj 2. And fandom is so stupid that there are people who go against what Goku said, that he wouldn’t be able to defeat Cell, wanting to force saying that Goku could beat Cell just to pretend that Goku didn’t have to bet on Gohan to Defeat Cell. Picollo made Goku desperate to say that Gohan shouldn't be there, but Gohan was the only one who could kill Cell and it turned out that Gohan killed Cell in the end, so Goku was right all the time. Piccolo said that Gohan does not like Fighting, but the same Gohan child had repeated several times before Freeza's saga, during, and in the Androids arc that he wanted to Fight and help defeat the Villains. When piccolo says Gohan doesn't like Fighting it logically gives Goku a bug in the head. The Z Warriors couldn't even beat the junior and personal Cell. You think that if everyone fights together, they will win the perfect Cell if Cell takes the Fight seriously. That's the level of stupidity and stubbornness of fans just to try to be right. If at that time everyone fought Cell together it would be the same thing as Trunks versus Freeza's army, that is, everyone would die and Gohan wouldn't even awaken his maximum power.
If Goku didn't bet on Gohan, everyone would be lost. Goku wanted to prove that Cell at his maximum cured has no way to beat Gohan Ssj 2 so don’t come stupid fan to send some stupid lines without meaning and thus Removing doubts so as not to have discussions in the fandom involving fighting power of one Character having with another. It was not the seed that made Moro obtain the increase of angelic power, but the same thing of not killing him already, the same thing that Vegeta did before in this same arc, the same thing that even Moro did by not killing Goku and all already when he was totally superior in power. Since he ended up getting the Hand back for taking too long to kill him. Vegeta, Goku and even Moro made the same mistake of not killing their opponent on time. But Character regression is what didn't happen, because Goku always did this to try to Redeem someone because he made mass murderers like Vegeta and Picollo become good guys. The guy to Moro has a better explanation for killing too much, he kills to eat, he literally eats to survive, he kills to eat. Vegeta and Picollo killed for fun and because they were evil and alone, and never paid for their crimes. Moro at least paid for his crimes by staying millions of years in prison, not a few years in hell like Freeza, but millions of years. If Vegeta and Piccolo can be redeemed and Frieza almost managed to be redeemed, I do not see it as impossible for Moro to be redeemed. Remember that Piccolo needed 4 to 5 arcs to change completely, piccolo only became a good person in 100℅ in the Saga of Frieza and Beginning arc of the Androids. Freeza almost changed in his fourth arc that he appeared (Tournament of Power). This is not an opinion, they are facts that I am showing here. Whether you like it or not, you already unmask the fandom's toxic attacks against Goku saying he regrets the development of the character. Goku doesn't need Development, his character has been established for a long time. Because of Goku the Peoples and Characters around him ended up changing and the story progresses and develops and we have incredible Fights, because Dragon Ball needs to have Fights. Without a fight, it's not Dragon Ball. And it would be anti-climatic by a lot if ended up having a quick death for Moro now by Goku or earlier by Vegeta.

Great vid as always! Yo nxt could you do a biggest mistakes that vegeta had made?
Goku and Vegeta's early Buu saga stupidity is just them reacting to the result of Kaioshin being so absolutely shit at his job.
Here's some others:
- Not training his tail sooner in original Dragon Ball. Almost cost him against Grandpa Gohan and other opponents and would've prevented him from finding the Dragon Balls
- Not fusing with Vegeta pretty much any time where he doesn't. Could have made a ton of battles easier
- Not going straight to his most powerful form in any battle where he doesn't, unless of course he needs to save stamina like the Tournament of Power
- Not having senszu beans with him at all times during battles
- Not just using instant transmission to teleport back after dropping off Semi-Perfect Cell at King Kai's planet
- Future Goku not helping Future Gohan from the Other World (this one may have some reason)
- Goku taking out a hit on himself
- Goku only wishing to bring back Bora and not everyone else that was killed by the Red Ribbon Army (though he may not have known the dragon could do this yet)
- Choosing to let Raditz go initially
- Not using the Room of Spirit and Time at any point prior to the Cell Saga
- Not just completely abusing the Room of Spirit and Time after it no longer had a limit
- At the end of Z and GT, choosing to leave his family to train Uub, instead of just training Uub along with the rest
- In GT as Gogeta, not finishing off Omega Shenron quickly
Can you do on for vegeta, kinda getting tired of vegeta fans thinking that vegeta is Christ and always pointing out the final Explosion
Honestly I was really mad at Vegeta for taking his time to kill Moro like he did in the Rez F movie. Then Goku sees Vegeta taking his time and does THE SAME THING.

@@RogueFox2185 Super Goku is WAY better than GT. GT Goku LITERALLY regressed him to back when he was a kid. In GT, Goku willingly killed his enemies, which regressed him to the simple barbaric child that he was back in the original DB. I'll admit, I liked when he finished his opponents, but its by definition regression whether you like it or not.
Another thing I don't like about GT is related to how Goku finishes his enemies. Goku beats EVERY GT enemy. People complain that DBS is the "Goku show", but DBGT is even worse in that aspect. Goku defeats EVERY major enemy in DBGT. General Rildo, Baby Vegeta, Super 17, and Omega Shenron. The fact that you know Goku is always going to win makes the show bland and predictable because Goku never loses. Compare that to DBS where its actually less predictable. Goku lost to Beerus, Hit, Goku Black, and was eliminated in the tournament of power by Jiren. Pretty much the only enemy he beat in DBS was Golden Frieza, and the fact that Goku loses way more makes the show less predictable and more fun to watch. Although we know that all the characters will inevitably be fine by the 10 year time skip, DBS still makes the tension feel real and even better than DBGT.
I will be honest, I prefer DBS to DBGT in most regards. Pretty much the only thing I like more about DBGT is that Goku is smarter and that the artstyle is more similar to DBZ, which makes it feel more like a direct continuation than DBS does. Despite this, I prefer DBS in most other aspects. DBS has better fights, better introduced concepts such as gods and the multiverse, DBS is more entertaining, DBS is much funnier, DBS is less predictable.
No Super Goku is NOT better as a character, his stupidity is amped to 11 (He didn’t know much about kissing despite being with Chi Chi for decades) and he put the multiverse at risk just for a chance of a good fight. GT Goku on the other hand may have stuck with a kid’s body for the show but he got the job done, you may call it regression but Baby, Super 17 and Omega were all major threats that he knew he couldn’t take a chance with and he was wise enough to know when enough is enough.

I just rewatched seth's "The Strength Of Son Goku" video and this ties into that video perfectly. The philosophies, morality, and evolution of Goku are more complex than many people think. To this day he is still learning and Goku making mistakes along the way makes him more human.

5:00 the argument could be made that if Goku leaves with everyone else from Namek, Freeza likely also gets off of Namek and sets course for Earth. And it's impossible to know what shape Freeza would have shown up in or how powerful he would have been. Goku staying or leaving is in this situation is a gamble either way.

Arguments that refute Fandom's complaints:
1- The senzu beans served to prove the difference in power between Moro and Goku. Because even Full Power Moro (no ability to copy powers) is no match for Goku, Goku just for standing up and staying in place, the impact of Moro's punch had his arm broken, so that no fan can come up with a stupid sentença saying that Moro with all his might may have a chance to defeat the complete Ultra Instinct Goku. Even in the past in the Cell Saga the Senzu beans served to remove doubts who is stronger than who. Perfect cell Full Power lost to Gohan Ssj 2. And fandom is so stupid that there are people who go against what Goku said, that he wouldn’t be able to defeat Cell, wanting to force saying that Goku could beat Cell just to pretend that Goku didn’t have to bet on Gohan to Defeat Cell. At that time even I realized that Gohan was the only one who could win because of his hidden power and his angry moments that made his power up there like crazy. Picollo made Goku desperate to say that Gohan shouldn't be there, but Gohan was the only one who could kill Cell and it turned out that Gohan killed Cell in the end, so Goku was right all the time. Piccolo said that Gohan does not like Fighting, but the same Gohan child had repeated several times before Freeza's saga, during, and in the Androids arc that he wanted to Fight and help defeat the Villains. When piccolo says Gohan doesn't like Fighting it logically gives Goku a bug in the head. The Z Warriors couldn't even beat the junior and personal Cell. You think that if everyone fights together, they will win the perfect Cell if Cell takes the Fight seriously. That's the level of stupidity and stubbornness of fans just to try to be right. If at that time everyone fought Cell together it would be the same thing as Trunks versus Freeza's army, that is, everyone would die and Gohan wouldn't even awaken his maximum power.
If Goku didn't bet on Gohan, everyone would be lost. Goku wanted to prove that Cell at his maximum cured has no way to beat Gohan Ssj 2 so don’t come stupid fan to send some stupid lines without meaning and thus Removing doubts so as not to have discussions in the fandom involving fighting power of one Character having with another. It was not the seed that made Moro obtain the increase of angelic power, but the same thing of not killing him already, the same thing that Vegeta did before in this same arc, the same thing that even Moro did by not killing Goku and all already when he was totally superior in power. Since he ended up getting the Hand back for taking too long to kill him. Vegeta, Goku and even Moro made the same mistake of not killing their opponent on time. But Character regression is what didn't happen, because Goku always did this to try to Redeem someone because he made mass murderers like Vegeta and Picollo become good guys. The guy to Moro has a better explanation for killing too much, he kills to eat, he literally eats to survive, he kills to eat. Vegeta and Picollo killed for fun and because they were evil and alone, and never paid for their crimes. Moro at least paid for his crimes by staying millions of years in prison, not a few years in hell like Freeza, but millions of years. If Vegeta and Piccolo can be redeemed and Frieza almost managed to be redeemed, I do not see it as impossible for Moro to be redeemed. Remember that Piccolo needed 4 to 5 arcs to change completely, piccolo only became a good person in 100℅ in the Saga of Frieza and Beginning arc of the Androids. Freeza almost changed in his fourth arc that he appeared (Tournament of Power). This is not an opinion, they are facts that I am showing here. Whether you like it or not, you already unmask the fandom's toxic attacks against Goku saying he regrets the development of the character. Goku doesn't need Development, his character has been established for a long time. Because of Goku the Peoples and Characters around him ended up changing and the story progresses and develops and we have incredible Fights, because Dragon Ball needs to have Fights. Without a fight, it's not Dragon Ball. And it would be anti-climatic by a lot if ended up having a quick death for Moro now by Goku or earlier by Vegeta.
Dragon ball is All about fighting, adventure as well but in the end we want to see a good fight and that there are no doubts about someone power.
Toyotaro managed to attract attention and he did very well, making the fans have to remember is to think how Goku really is and to discover the real fans and the Haters on duty.
If you don't like Goku doing this of changing peoples from go into the past and stop Toriyama from putting this character trait in Goku so all of your favorite Villains Piccolo, Vegeta, Android's, Buu and Broly(DBSuper) would all of them be dead, and them you would come with another complain saying that Db doesn't let any Villain alive.
1- Doesn't Matter with Senzu bean or not, it was not the Senzu which made Moro get the angelical power, it was taking too long taking too much time to kill him which change the situation into Moro favor.
Man even Moro himself committed same mistake, Vegeta as well in this same arc.
Moro didn't kill no one when he was totally superior in power and wasted too much time, Vegeta wasted too much time as well and Moro utilize his Magic to deceive everyone and then escape to absorb 73. Now it was Goku turn, so things can be fair enough.
You people are complaining too much over little things that in the future won't make any difference in a world were exist the Dragon balls and most of the time you are being a lot hypocritical and too much toxic to a point of asking petition to throw Goku out of being main character and even sending death threats and making texts of hatred.

Gogeta sparing Frieza could have been the simple repayment of the ToP debt. They agreed to revive him, but Beerus did that, not the Earthlings, so much like Frieza giving Goku energy to balance the scale of who owes who, this could essentially be his one free pass, thus the debt it paid. That said if it was Vegito, where Vegeta's personality is dominant, things might have gone different. Still, in the end this is just my theory based on some assumptions about how fusions think. Its also possible the Vegeta half spared Frieza not so much to pay back his help in the ToP, but for the change to finish off Frieza as Vegeta and not some juiced up fusion. He wants to have that long awaited victory as his own individual achievement.

You can say that about a lot of Dragon Ball Z. The characters make dumb decisions time and time again, making things infinitely more troublesome for them than they have to be. Yet it's the consequences of those dumb decisions that helped the characters moving forward in terms of new allies or newfound forms of strength that they otherwise wouldn't have if they did the smart thing.
9:42 Vegetto possibly had a hunch that if Majin Buu were destroyed before those that he absorbed were freed, they would permanently remain part of his being. Seeing as how the South Kaioshin stayed permanently fused with Kid Buu and the Grand Kaioshin stay as part of Fat Buu, he may not have been wrong.
Goku's third mistake was not saving Nappa from getting killed by Vegeta. Nappa could have become a Super Saiyan. So much potential lost! Goku's first mistake was not training Bulma and Goku's second mistake was not marrying her. Goku also made the mistake of going with Shenron. Oh and hail Hydra!

I have a question can goku use his senses to scan a machine like his tracker and find faults in the systems like fuel or electrical or if parts wearing out then use telekinesis and ki beams to fix it?

I think goku fighting black in the beginning of the goku black arc was a mistake because if goku went all out and killed black, without black, no ssr, no fused zamasu, and no one gets erased by zeno because he called zeno at the end of the arc

As much as Goku was scolded for bringing Frieza back to Earth for the Tournament Arc, the crunch time the gang had was more severe. Plus some of the U7 fighters shouldn't be talking since they were once villians.
Without 10 fighters the universe is disqualified and (I believe) would be erased at the spot. So would you rather let that happen or get any available fighter you can deal with later should they go rogue? At one point, we all had to deal with difficult people to achieve a greater goal.
