Cheers Tim! Appreciate it mate
Hi Ian, The grain in the pine is certainly beautiful but the part I love the most is the stepped rim.
I have never seen that before.
Take care my friend.
Cheers, Huw
Hey Huw! Yeah I thought of it when I was mid way through the turn and thought it might look quite cool, thanks for your comment mate and hope everything is going well with you.
Beautiful Ian.
Thanks Jack!

Thanks Doug! Hope you're doing well fella
Selamat beraktivitas semoga sehat selalu 👍♥️♥️
Terimakasih banyak 🙏
Nice piece Ian, pine can be so underrated. Especially with blue fungi stain.
Yeah I've seen some lovely Pine recently, definitely not the plain yellowy looking wood that people think of when they hear Pine.
It’s a beautiful bowl. I really like the way you did that inside lip on the bowl. It looks great.
Thanks Lynda! Thought I'd do something different!
Very interesting rim on the bowl.

I love the colors in the pine you have. Our pine is mostly plain. Great project Ian. Thank you.
Yeahh I think that's generally the case, thankfully I've got a pile of this Pine and it always has really nice colours in! hope you're well Jen
Hey Ian. Thanks for the video. Turned out great. Got me in the mood to get into my shop. Thanks. Beautiful red pine bowl.
Thanks James, hope you managed to get out there and have a go mate!
Awesome Ian, never considered putting a stepped inside. Thanks for always teaching new things.
Yeah it was something a little new for me too, glad you liked it mate!
Love the style of the bowl and the colours are beautiful.
Thanks very much!
Wonderful bowl! The red glow on the side is amazing! What beautiful wood.
Thanks Gwynn! Hope you're doing well :)
Really nice piece Ian! I like the steps on it.
The design is spot on and the colors in the wood are spectacular! Beautiful bowl! ❤

Obrigado meu amigo, espero que tudo esteja bem com você e sua família e agradeço suas amáveis palavras
Do you know that if you have a branch in your bowl and you get the walls thin enough, you can shine a light through the branch, and it will glow red? I love red pine, I have heard it call painted pine and stained pine also as slang names. Great job👍👍
Cheers Chris! Red Pine is definitely a lot nicer than people give it credit for.
Nice project. Thanks. I enjoyed watching the shape and colors come out in the wood. Just as a recommendation for your future videos...turners always always like to know what finish is used on a project.
Yeah I'm a little hit or miss with showing what I used for the finish, I'll incorporate it more in the future! Thanks for your comment :)
Difficult watching those loose long sleeves going near a spinning lathe.
