    Wow so glad i watched your video, my dyson DC33 suction was really bad i was given it by the lady who lived here before me and i can see why she didnt want it, i cleaned it changed the filters it was really bad but still it wasn't sucking up barely, i watched quite a few videos, but none of them explained about the tube on your video at 3:36, so i checked the vacuum again and mine was not springing back at all so i twisted a little like you said until it did start springing back , wow i could not believe the suction on the vacuum really strong, im so grateful for your video, was so happy i vacuumed the whole house! Thank you so much!

    Thank you so very much for your clear step by step instructions.
    I purchased mine second hand and I had the person plug it in so that I can see that it works. But it really didn't suck anything up. It turned on and because it was on cement I thought that was why it didn't have great suction. But, THANKS to your video I found that there was a piece that kinda looks like an elbow missing and also on the bottom, there wasn't a spring back in that little hose. So, I am going to find out the cost to replace those 2 pieces. If it's not too expensive than I just made a great investment because I only paid $40 for the vacuum.
    Again, Thank you so very much for walking through each step and doing it in such a way that I was able to follow along. I did SUBSCRIBE just because of this. Have a Blessed evening.

    I just bought a reconditioned one off ebay. Got it now and the wand attachment works great super suction. The main hoover part doesn't suck at all even with the brush bar on. No blockages I can see. Brush rotates but zero suction.

    • @parwaz7861

      Is the soleplate flat to the floor and not angled? Also make sure your clutch is good otherwise the brush stops when it hits the carpet

      @@ianpearson8976 honestly I’ve covered it all in the video
      The suction won’t be the same by hand at the head because it’s designed to be concentrated at the hose and spread out at the head for the entire width of the head so it may feel less powerful when it’s actually the same amount going to the head

    • @ianpearson8976

      @@parwaz7861 okay I think I've found a possible cause. You mention that the lower internal hose pipe creates tension on the brush bar 3.52 on video and you show pushing it up it springs back flush again.mine doesn't do this and I have to keep pressing it down with my foot then it works better. Do these hoses have springs in them or is there another spring somewhere.

    • @parwaz7861
      @parwaz7861  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ianpearson8976 yes that sounds like the problem with your Dyson. The white coil in the hose acts as a spring, try rotating the hose 180 degrees so half a turn and it’ll be springy again

    Thanks for video.. Just fixed our vacume, exactly what u said, about lever bein in wrong position. When being carried, the bottom flips, and the lever flips back to bare floors for sum reason. and no one realized it.
    Do you know, can the roller get worn out n need to b replaced ¿ And that make it pick up up better with a new roller ¿ Every single thing has been checked on it. The suction is great up top, no clogs any where, filters r great. N no belt to replace. Thanks again

    • @parwaz7861
      @parwaz7861  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Glad it helped! The brushbar can be removed if you force it off the rubber belt it’s literally just a tight rubber band, so can take some effort but it’s perfectly doable
      Brushbars seldom get worn it’s usually the clutch as the rubber belts stretch out after years of use (the tighter the belts are the more aggressively the brush will spin on carpets)

    • @parwaz7861

      Hi sounds like the valve is out of place, I’m assuming the vacuum doesn’t stand upright in it’s own either right? On the left side of the vac push the valve pipe upwards it just slides up when you push the black button and it’ll stand up and work properly again
