I have recently (January 2021) got one DC33 same as this one, for less than 30 dollars, plenty of dirt, but a perfect clutch and belts, brushbar, ducts, everything! I fully cleansed as you did, and now it runs delightfully and it's nuts powerful!

Recently, I found a DC-33 and a DC-07 right next to each other sitting by a dumpster. I’m trying to make one good one out of two bad ones. I’m hoping to save the newer DC-33, but it needs new brush roll bearings. How do I pull the bearings out?

Hello - do I need a new clutch or just the bands if my roller isn't spinning? I wasn't sure what to purchase. is the only way to know is to look at the white piece you mentioned to see if it's worn?

You have to buy a new clutch. The belts don't come off the clutch.

@@VacMaster1991 having trouble with third screw, the one holding the clutch cover on, I cannot get it to grip and get it to screw back in, tried for over an hour. About to give up from frustration hoping I just don’t need third screw to go in for it to work.

@@eileenkelly6371 the 3rd screw is probably necessary for it to work correctly

My roller is spinning great (cleaned bearings even). However the vacuum is not picking anything up. I recently took the brush out and cleaned it thoroughly before reinstalling it. Reinstalled it and now it does not pick up. Suction is still strong. Filters are cleaned. Internals cleaned yesterday as well. Head just does not want to pick anything up in either setting on head knob. Ideas?

Did you check the clear plastic tube on the base

@@VacMaster1991 yes. All tubes have been checked for obstruction as well as gaskets cleaned.
