As someone who liked acotar just fine but wont be continuing (I just dont like segsy times in books), this was pretty refreshing to watch. It feels refreshing to see someone outside of the booktube community talk about a book.

As someone who has read just ACOTAR from this series - I think the same way about the characters. I liked Tamlin until one point and I found Rhys toxic. Just because I know he is so loved I know that probably won't be the case 😁 You two are very cute ❤️

I just finished reading it (thanks to you), and I agree with many of the things Curtis said. I did like the first part much more than the second which could have been done better. Still very looking forward to reading the next one!

But underground is not a bad thing & I also was not reading Fantasy until I came to BookTube. I am somewhat a Maas fan (loved Crescent city and truly enjoyed Tog) but definitely not a fan of Acotar and honestly, I agree with many of Curtis’ points. Definitely curious to see what he thinks of the rest of the series

A Court of Silver Flames is placed in the YA section at my local bookstore. I told one of the employees it shouldn’t be placed there, they removed it, but put it back a few weeks later. That is definitely NOT Young Adult! Love the book, but it shouldn’t be placed there.
I got my boyfriend to read it too but I'm just glad he actually *liked* it and wants to read ACOMAF or else I'd wanna cry 😂

I love that he says team Feyre, I agree 100%. I think I am getting to the point where I no longer hate Tamlin, he did help her escape from Hybern's camp (acowar). In acomaf I just felt so betrayed by him because of the way he was treating Feyre and then he just made it worse with how he got her back and how he acted after. However, I am now open to him finding someone and redeeming himself.

SJM did an interview with an Australian news outlet and the headline was “the biggest bestselling author you’ve never heard of” and I was like yeah- accurate lol
I thought for sure that Rhysand was the bad character and I loved Tamlan.... And then Under the Mountain happened and everything changed. I really want to re-read the first three again.
Question for ACOMAF - Which one was better - the inn scene or chapter 55?
My husband did the same thing. He stopped at the beginning because of Feyra's family. He does plan to go back and finish reading it.
