We have a 66’ bronco and surprisingly it still runs and and despite all of the mud holes we have ever put it through it have never gotten stuck except for one time because it wasn’t in four wheel drive but over all it is an amazing truck
I just love it . It was really funny that the girl with the Chevy Impala . The Impala was stalled and the Bronco came to the rescue . That was all thumbs up .
Wow! Thanks for having this available and posting! They spent some coin making this one, helicopter shots, and undercarriage camera mounting filming, very very cool. Yes - I'm a huge early Bronco fan and soon, we'll have a project truck for a father-daughter fixer project.
I owned a very clean 66. I bought it in 1987, from a former Ford dealership Bodyman, that found it in a barn in Nebraska. It had 15,000 miles on it. I guess it almost rolled over on the guy that had bought it, and he got scared, then just put it away. Imagine that. It had a straight six, and a three in the tree. It was geared very low, and wasn't good for the highways, think of it as more of a tractor. Ha !
Some funny parts for sure! Salesmanship on the features…radio, bench seat in the back, armrest :-) How about the dead dear on the hood! Got a good laugh at that too!
I’ve owned 76 Jeep and a 71 Bronco and the Ford is a much better vehicle . I got a laugh at the deer on the hood, being in the west I loved the politically incorrect scene of the hunter and deer. I’m a Dodge man but I would definitely buy one back in the day. Thanks for the memories!
A few early engineering items there...the falcon horn button and those fiberglass door inserts that stick out beyond the flush openings.not to mention the roadster with the auxiliary gas fill on the passenger side...
The Ford Econoline truck had gotten 30 mpg . The 1966 Bronco 4x4 had gotten Base with the 6 cylinder engine gotten 20 MPG . Not bad for 1966 . In 1979 the Ford truck had gotten 12 MPG with it's smallest V8 302 CID . The monster sized Bronco had gotten even less . Not until 2011 the Ford truck came up to 27 MPG and the Bronco was gone . That is not bad for a full size truck compared to a Mini truck that gets the same . Back in 1975 Datsun made some light cheap cars that got 39 MPG and Honda Civic had gotten 41 MPG . Cars today even the Hybread cars like the Honda CRV and the CIVIC gets 31 MPG . Just looking at these numbers we should be getting 50 MPG on trucks and 60 with cars . How did thy do back in the 50's and 60s ! Small displacement engine packed with as much HP that was possible at the time . Now we run on cheap gas . Every car now have AC . Back in the day cars did not have AC . That was an option at the time . Most people did want it anyway . Because 6 window AC was vary good and then you have the fresh air coming in from the vents at full speed . Not may people sweated back in those day . The men and women worked in it . Kids played in it and we drove in it . So our bodies are used to it . Even a slight hot breeze felt good .
Bought a new '72 V8 3sp. It made a great ski car and would go almost everywhere although could be a little squirrely at highway speeds. Wonder how we survived the lack of safety gear..
The part I also like was the hunting part . During the hunting season the Bronco will take you to where the game is and pull it back home . Then the Bronco pulling a Jeep to the scrap yard . That would be funny .
😮 Ford WAS the first to conceive the sport utility vehicle...🤔 ok, now y’all know there’s no such thing as John Bronco, right? He’s like Santa Claus or the Tooth Fairy.
I had a 67 Bronco, 302 and 3 on the tree, Great little 4x4, it was a billy goat, it's would almost climb a Tree.
Awesomeness I absolutely love this so much , I’ve got two of the Bumpside Broncos Made in Brazil 🇧🇷 with the 67-72 F100 bodies.

Got a '66 myself, It will never fail to bring a smile to my face when driving. Pure simple driving fun.

Back when companies used to make real commercials

Hank Kimball's red Bronco. The beautiful Broncos. Very cool ad.
Today they are selling for a lot more.

That is because in 1978 on to 1996 The Bronco Became a Short wheel base F Series Truck

Súper camioneta la bronco !
We had a 1968, wish we still did. Never should have sold it.
The Ford Bronco Sport Truck.
👍🏾🐴🇺🇸🚙⭐️🍟
Yep, mostly Utah but the bridge scene is in Arizona, (well, the Arizona Strip which might as well be Utah).
So cool
Ford should make the bronco again. They would sell many of them.
I bet you they'll try to bring back the old bronco from the past but still going to not look good as the original
Wow this was epic. So much of today’s marketing I see in this or should I be saying the opposite? Lol
10:58. Yep, it's Utah !
Where was this filmed? Does some body know it? Yeah I know, Grand Canyon ... but where else please?
Heber Valley, Utah.
@@bigospig --- Thank you very much.

I'm surprised that guy isn't smoking a cigarette while he's white water rafting.
A picknic with two cowboys . Cowboys buts drive me nuts . LOL

Or Slash from guns and roses. He isn't real
Bronco Mendenhall is real !
Ford was trying to break into the off road Jeep market.
Thats a nice Scout 80. Oooh wait no no, that's a Bronco.
An ugly copy.. The proportions on the Bronco just look all wrong in comparison. And the shorter wheelbase led to the whole “bucking” Bronco name.
Cheapest little truck back in 1966 if you don't count yer Jeeps in a basket.
Que patético
