you should interview Pia next time... this could open some curtains about women in chess from the early days and how it has evolved and if it really is on the right track.
@@johnmiles5606 I mean there's always some outlying factors as to why it is important to talk about how trends or analysis goes into the growth of a specific category of a subject. After all, for the longest time women were, and by many still, seen below the men grandmasters, and seeing it flourish in a once purely male dominated game is good for historical analysis and understanding why it was like this and even other possibility of analysis. Is the male mind on average truly just better at comprehending patterns and strategy and possibility, or is it because women just were never really part of the competition until relatively recently. So talking about the possibility of track it is on is a good discussion to have. Though maybe the usage of "right" in the original comment may obviously not be the correct notion behind it.
@@CimmerianAssassin We already know the answer. There is no scientific evidence that men are smarter than women. We also know that chess is really actually all about memorization of theory. I’m an old man who just started playing chess last year and was looking for chess content on TH-cam and although I enjoy Gotham and Hikaru you three young women and Dina also make the best most entertaining content. I’m sure lots of little girls look up to all of you and see that chess can be for them too!

I've expanded to other online creators recently, including the Botez sisters/Cramling. I think it's great that they have this kind of platform and audience! I enjoy the content and hope that it inspires others.

Yeah, i can definitely see this being long term with a compilation of episodes and guests. Pretty chill and lots of questions and answers. Like you guys been doing it for a while already. Keep it up 👊🏼
Knowing the story of Pia makes me understand that people are upset that there is a shift from Pia being the Pia Cramling to being Annas mom, that is in no way Annas "fault" so to speak, but Pia is such a beacon to women's chess that it's a bit unfortunate, no matter why it's happening.
Wow! Those colors were so well chosen! At 39:45, Andrea's sofa is orange, just like her skin tone, and at 39:48, Anna's background is brown and cream, matching her face and hair. AWESOME!
With respect to the Botez sisters, whose content I also enjoy, my single favorite chess video is the one where Anna Cramling introduces the Cow opening. Regardless of whether one might think it's too much hopping around with the knights rather than developing an attack, she is absolutely adorable in that video.
I really enjoyed this! Love to see you exploring this kind of content. You’re both (all three) very talented, bringing the best of yourself to the mix 👏🏻

I like and watch all of you (and others) on TH-cam but rarely comment. I'm actually surprised that any of you ever read any comments at all. I always figured that young, attractive, successful folks would never spend even 2 minutes of their day reading comments and that asking for comments was just business. I figured you'd be off leading glamorous lives while the rest of us wasted our time writing comments that would never be seen. I'd never thought of "happy puppy" before but that is perfect! :-)
I actually am a fan of this format. I think it’s great to see the person behind the brand so to speak. You two do an amazing job. It’s vulnerable and that’s relatable. Very nice!
Enjoyed this, thanks to all three of you. I personally don't travel much (limited to a few states in the US usually). I'd like to see more of the world when you're traveling... you sometimes play chess with a interesting back drop and that is cool, but maybe take a minute or so and show us around a bit? People might still enjoy seeing something from a different angle.
These interviews are awesome! I appreciate that you don't shy away from asking deeper questions, and the two of you work well together in posing questions. Thank you for the work!
Great interview! I guess you published it in time for her match. I have no clue about chess but kind of accidentally watched her live matches with Odin today. The first one gave me anxiety because of the time management and I didn't understand why she didn't move to the central square with the knight earlier, before he castled. ("Not understand" not in the sense of "I know better" but in the sense of "my rating is 0") The end game in the second one was epic, and her mother got so excited commenting. It was actually the first time I watched chess live, and it was much more interesting and full of suspense than I had thought.
Man this podcast is so good! I applied to your smartest subscriber thing but never heard back. Would love to meet Alex someday and you guys gotta do a podcast with Judit Polgar.
What a great show! Keep it up! Also maybe add a blitz game at the end for an outro. Thanks for the video! Edit: apparently I should have waited to the end. There was to be a game but not on your channel. Anyhoots, great content!

I really like this format, please do more!
I actually am a fan of this format. I think it’s great to see the person behind the brand so to speak. You two do an amazing job. It’s vulnerable and that’s relatable. Very nice!
Great interview and production. Well done to the production and post production team. Smart.
another great episode. loved it. can't wait for the next one : )
This was cool. Big fan of all you guys. Good cop/bad cop is funny.
This would be the dream!
What a great show! Keep it up! Also maybe add a blitz game at the end for an outro. Thanks for the video!
Edit: apparently I should have waited to the end. There was to be a game but not on your channel. Anyhoots, great content!
This was such a pleasure to watch. Great conversation. Thanks.
Bruh. You guys are killing it with this podcast vibe
Talks shows are very popular, both on mid day and late night television. I personally like this video very much. It helps to bring us all together. Well done, ladies
Anna is so honest it's almost OCD, and I love that about her. It's so refreshing these days.
I love this format and the stories of the your lives and what you have learned and what your dreams are. I wish you all the greatest successes . Keep up your amazing content on you tube and twitch.😇😇
Love the George and Kramer pics. Seinfeld has always been my fav sitcom and I'm from England. This reminds me of the episode when Kramer got the chat show furniture and had his own imaginary chat show.😅
I really enjoyed this! Great video, looking forward to the next in this style!
Great podcast. Pia would make a fantastic story for a Netflix documentary. Such a lovely lady and amazing chess player.
I do really appreciate the decoration with all those funny pictures.
Great pod. I love Alex’s deep questions.
33:37 agree, that is a Really good question; probably especially for those who maybe didnt exactly plan to be internet famous but now kinda are
