- My new friend, Joao who knows Uganda like the back of his hand, joined me for 7 days to show me The Pearl of Africa. This episode shows footage from our ride from Kampala to Queen Elizabeth Park. It wasn't a long journey, but a lot happened along the way!

In April 2017 I left Australia for a solo trip around the world on a BMW F800GS. I named it “Are We There Yet” because I don't know my final destination or the duration of this journey.
Throughout my journey, I was raising money for a young disabled child in Poland named Franek. Franek was diagnosed with cerebral palsy (weakness of the entire right side of the body) and he will require constant rehabilitation for the rest of his life. This is one of your best episodes Kinga. You showed so many different things in your travel through the town's (complete with the controlled Chaos Traffic!!) Camping grounds & the National Park's wild life. Truly amazing , Thank you ....
i just loved the way u helped the guy and first took out stand and then lifted the bike. the way u lifted the technique is professional. stay safe and keep riding

I like the way Kinga first set up her camera on a tripod, and *then* went to see if he was injured. :-)

I dont know why people have to potrait Africa in a specific way. For instance, these guys opted to stop at a fuel station that nobody uses here in Ug. The road from Kampala to QENP has tons of Shell, Total and other Fuel stations with service bays, shops,etc. Also, the road is really good and is amazingly scenic but these guys somehow recorded the entire ride on bad roads only. Really well done!

Thanks Dean. It was just a bad fall, Joao twisted his foot but he was able to continue riding. He was very lucky that day but he scared crap out of me.

Its funny seeing some willing and some suspicious. I enjoyed seeing the boy hesitant to take the Kuala but once he knew there was no trouble, he was smiling and sitting on the bike. Smart kid! I hope he works hard and is successful with his fiture!!!! Those girls telling their age and kids were super cute! More like American teenagers talking about boys they like. Cultures are so different but so similar.

A friend of my mother wanted to ride my and my brothers minibike. It was automatic with both hand levers as brakes. She had a problem deciding what to do with the throttle and ended up doing a head plant in the potato patch. My brother and I ran straight for the bike past her with her sunglasses where there should have been a helmet. She was shocked that we had not made sure she was okay first.
