I’m a U.S. expat now living in Hua Hin. I first got my motorcycle license in the States because of Long Way Down. I was stationed in Korea and it was on NATGEO on repeat. That show got me into bikes, and been riding ever since. Thank you Charley and your good buddy for that show.
I was an absolute fan of Charlie and Ewan in the "Long way Round/Down" adventures. Living in South Africa I had to have the DVD's at that time and my brother bought it and send it to me from the UK. Great seeing Charlie back on adventures.
I’m so happy to see Charley again on a BMW. This sound you have on no E-Bike. After long way round I lost my heart in a BMW Adventure AND I learned English from Charley 😉 now I start watching the 3 episodes 🎉
Charley, you inspired me to do my first big tour! Doing a 10 ten tour of the Southwestern United States in October. Going with a tour company and will be riding a GS. Keep putting out great motorcycle content…..Cheers from NYC

This is just my opinion but there are many of us riding everywhere in Thailand , and we don't have film crews and support vehicles and make it look like Thailand is like a third world country. Riding these types of roads on a GS is a bit overkill, 300 cc motorcycles are better suited for this terrain. Purely a promotional video for Touratech. Again this is my opinion
Nice to watch the chaps on an adventure. I'll be offering a 14 day adventure later in the year with an off-road focus. Can't wait to expose the stunningly beautiful Western Cape of South Africa to riders 😁. Gr8 to watch you guys though having loads of fun as you try the new bikes and kit out. Cheers, Joe. Unfortunately, extremely boring films and it doesn't get any better. Especially in the first part, snow-white clothes on dusty streets and not a single drop of sweat despite being fully clothed in the humidity in Thailand. I don't know. Purely a promotional event. A pity
GS1300: too heavy, too expensive, too much electronics, too low, too complicated, too small footpegs, too low seat height, too fragile sump guard and crash bars. Nice headlight, drives nice/smooth, good brakes, good aftermarket for a motorcycle so short on the market, good quality options like foglights.
Big bikes are heavy and can cause erosion on natural trails. Especially when riding off-road on unpaved roads as seen in the video, the motorcycle tires can dig into the soil, which can lead to long-term damage. The video riding through a river section. Big bikes can disrupt the delicate ecosystem of rivers and streams. They can also cause problems for people who are using the waterways for transportation or recreation. Big bikes have large carbon footprints. The video does not mention how far Ewan is traveling, but a motorcycle trip like this would likely generate a significant amount of CO2 emissions.
Great to see Charley and Touratech doing well together. Been a big fan since LWR.

Tolles Abenteuer und immer schöne Filme. Touratech ist wirklich ne super Marke ❤
Great motivation to go out and explore before we're all living in America.

The fonts used makes me think I’m reading Martian 😂

Nothing happens here. I am disappointed with this film.
Next time they ride 2000cc ADV 300kg bike 😂

Yeah we get it, you are against big bikes. Party pooper.
I share your concern, but I’m afraid your tone might be among the reasons why we are not getting through to people.
charley sin ewan
Bet they wish they weren't on those big stupid bikes!
GS 1300 has had horrible reviews...stop plugging a poor machine and selling out $$$$$$. You lose viewers with BS.
Boorman ruins even videos about Thailand a bit ...
