Establish healthcare as a fundamental right. Americans are increasingly dissatisfied with escalating inequality. Warren Buffet wants higher taxation on the wealthy. A significant majority, 94% of Democrats, support increased taxation on the wealthy. In contrast, Donald Trump favors reduced taxes for the wealthy and endorses trickle-down economic policies. The acquiescence of Democratic leadership to the interests of wealthy donors is concerning. Democrats need a genuine progressive candidate, but leadership won't listen to voters.

It's not that people necessarily agree with trump. It's that people have a history with trump and they also have short memories. People are willing to put up with a certain level of crazy as long as they don't think that crazy will directly affect them. The abortion issue isn't a winning issue bc it only directly affects women of child bearing age. That's like maybe a fifth of the electorate. Then some of those people don't believe in abortion anyway so that drops the percentage even more. My point is people typically will chose a dictator who will guarantee them a meal when they are starving. People are starving right now so they are willing to try trump again with the hopes that he won't do anything to harm them directly.

Exactly. No one cares about gender equality and stemming climate change, when they can't buy groceries and gas. The fact that the dems don't get this, and when they claim to do get it they look like frauds, shows how elitist they've become. The core of the Trump-Vance message was: get affordable energy and close the border which will fix the economy by bringing back jobs and raising wages and lowering the cost of goods/services. None of these issues could Harris legit speak on, because she can't even fathom them and does not legit see the economy and lost jobs and lower wages is hurting tons of folks. The GOP is the new champion of minorities and the working class. We saw a paradigm shift Tuesday. And the dems cannot get their head around it because they too arrogant to learn and too busy pointing fingers at each other.

That's actually not true at all considering his jump in the popular vote right now is approaching 10 million. You're trying to do Democrat math. Where less actually means more. No it means less. She is just a moron that got smoked in 2020 primaries because people knew then she was a moron. NOw fast forward to 2024 and people remember she was/is a moron. So about 100 million Americans voted against her. Yes even in her home state of CA. 5.2 million there voted against her to her 8 million? Only a 3 million vote margin? In her own state? Some of us paying attention all along laughed whent he Democrats put her as BIden's replacement. We knew all along she couldn't win a freakin student council election

As a member of the working class , and I guess me saying Iam a Hispanic college educated; with an advanced degree, means something in today’s society, I agree with Cenk. The democrats leaving the working class is something that has affected me over the last 8 years living in New York. With an over six figure salary I had to move out of the state. The cost of living, the taxes, tolls, parking infringements, forced me out of the city I was raised in. I saw my opportunities and quality of life dwindle far below how my parents were at my age .even with what most would agree is a great job.i am happy to see the gap narrow in New York . If the Dems continue with their rhetoric, New Yorkers will because they have been speaking about their struggles . from the barber shops to the hospitals, and restaurants. We are done with the empty promises democrats push. I know first hand, being an ER nurse in the poorest neighborhood of the poorest borough , I’ve seen how the democratic empty promises have led to despair. ithe communities they campaign upon only worsen under their watch. I’m proud of Cenk . His fight shouldn’t be against Trumpism but against the Democrats. It’s time a Bernie sanders type populist gets a fair fight. That with the Trump populists will make America a better place in the long wrong. The current DNC has to be restructured.

I’m so disappointed in the democrats. Their hearts are in the right place with the diversity and representation of people of all race, skin color, sex, gender, disability and etc, but because they’re being led astray and seduced to the neoliberal Marxist Frankfort Leninism Stalin Mao juice, they got carried away with the PC identity politics shit in the age of social media entitlement. Kamala Harris chose the wrong celebrities. She had us on good people like usher, queen latifah and patti labelle but lost us on overrated people of Beyoncé & Taylor Swift and the horrible Cardi B and saying the wrong things blaming people for not voting and alienating working class, and probably inheriting Biden’s leadership crap (considering she’s his second in command after all) and not talking more about the policies and other stuff. Kamala is not a strong candidate and the democrats never should have nominated her for the role and instead give it to Bernie Sanders instead. Now we’re stuck with trump again no telling what bad things he would do. His supporters think he’s going to do good things to help the country but there is always a negative downside of the policy of the candidate whether be left wing liberal democrat or right wing conservative republican. Plus another factor Harris didn’t win was because of society and the electoral college don’t want woman to be president. Just saying, sadly.

Yes both things can be true here. The fact that Trump is elected again all speaks to that. It's a nuance of BOTH.

In this election through a record voter turnout from people who don’t normally vote or true they were thousands of thousands of ballots that just came in and voted Trump and nothing else. If you look at the total numbers of voters it’s significantly higher than it was previously so just say that she was a failure of a candidateis lazy.
